Yes. But not because of WR issues. More because of pass rush issues. Which we finally made a serious move about this last offseason.

Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?
BananaB replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dolphins D is terrible, that 31 points looked like a struggle because it looks like a plan to only throw short routes with the occasional intermediate one. Obviously it’s on tape and other teams pickup on it, just makes their job easier. Probably why our WRs look like they get no separation. -
People in mass have cut through the quick edits of videos and name calling that the left repeatedly use to demonize everyone they disagree with. We have common sense enough to not believe the idiotic narrative they tryed to push on what made the killer commit the act. Its beyond worn out tactics at this point with same suspects and outlets. over and over and over. He was just a guy who was peacefully expressing his opinions and was murdered for them. the fact you dont understand is not suprising but it isnt sitting well with rational people. He was meaningful for many for his speech but more meaningful in the fact that everyone is sick and tired this s#!t.

I was referring to the desperate 50 yard heaves into triple coverage that we started to see all too often under Dorsey, not the occasional risky throw to sustain a drive. As for your other point, how often have we lost playing said efficient, turnover free football since Brady took over? I mean, we've lost like 4 regular season games (not counting the finale) in nearly 1.5 years. I wouldn't say any of them were because our offense was too conservative.

It was more like 148, but three game avg is 250+

I didn't stay up for McDermott's presser. Did anyone ask about the missed challenge on the Dolphins' first drive? -
Week 3, Fish v. Bills, GAME BALLS!

I agree that it could have cost us the game. In that situation, especially on a run, you have to do everything to ensure you don't even come close to a hold -

Jimmy Kimmel Canceled
AverageAllensSuspensor replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Companisation/organisation firing people over opinions and what they have said is, sometimes, bad. The government interfering and influencing with such decisions is always disastrous. Now I do not know exactly why Kimmel or any of the others were fired etc. But the government interfering is always a much worse attack on free speech. Media and social media platforms etc. are of course free (well.. should be anyway) to choose whom they allow on their channels. A network cancelling someone without government influence is not an attack on free speech. In fact it is quite the opposite (free media is important). A network cancelling someone after government interference is a huge attack on free speech. -
Week 3, Fish v. Bills, GAME BALLS!

First to mention Thompson I think. #45 kept catching our eyes tonight. Subbing in and out with #7 all game long. Showing up here and there. Sticking a tackle or two. Flashing. Love to see it. Just adding Thompson posts to celebrate that nuance of noticing. Yup. - Today

1. Kincaid had very good game 2. Hawes had a TD and good blocking 3. No drops for Knox (of course, no catches either!) -
We definitely did not have 250yards passing vs jets
-
ROI on COOK has certainly been more valuable so far. He is what he is by now. Fits Beanes great talent evaluator ability regarding the dl position. At least he’s better than boogie I guess or Von for example. Great guy , but as others suggested , maybe calling him moot or root might be more appropriate Maybe he will show up on the all 22 , so the experts can explain how you lack understanding ( sarcasm) of his stardom. 😂

What did you think of going for the field goal with under 30 seconds left and a 7 point lead. It worked out but I would have either run the ball to gain a couple more yards or punted to push them back. My fear was the risk of missing the kick was too high and giving them a short field to go for the win (with a quick score and 2 pointer). I thought our D could tie them up for 25 seconds if they were deep and no time outs left. -

I think the TD to Kincaid was the only completion where the ball was thrown more than 10 yards downfield, and probably only 2 or 3 attempts past 10 yards (drop by Kincaid in endzone, pass interference on Keon on 1st drive, ???) Granted, we are scoring points but to get to and win the Super Bowl we need to be able to have a downfield passing attack and stretch the field -
That was my initial thought. Guy had been hitting a fade and then he's facing the tee shot that demands the draw. Hit one like that yesterday at Torrey. Lol

Are we going to pretend like ZERO of his throws against Baltimore were at all dangerous/lucky? Half of me LOVES this statistical distinction a lot. Such fundamentally sound, effective, consistent performance on the field. The other half of me HATES how deliberate/predictable and frankly boring the Bills are overall (outside of Allen's penchant for magnetically entertaining football). I get that it works. I love that it works. I want them to win. But I HATE when they lose because that's no way to go down.

Accurate, quick decision maker, but immobile and a complete noodle arm. Paying Dan Marino money for Chad Pennington talent. -
It didnt help, but the Bills not being able to get off the field on 3rd down was the killer. Giving Josh the ball a couple more times wouldve put the game out of reach much sooner.

That mulligan almost cost us the Win - and totally changed the entire momentum of the game - it gave the Dolphins hope as opposed to being totally deflated I think if he made that FG - Bills win handily

I have no evidence to prove you wrong about Rousseau's quiet, mostly stat-less effectiveness, but it immediately reminds me of how some fans defended Tremaine Edmunds for years.
