Charlie Kirk shot in Utah (Pronounced Dead)

But Im a pedo or evil? This is exactly why the rhetoric has to be toned down on both sides. -

Nobody said anything along the lines of what you’re saying. The point is that kid on grape st deserves a good school, and good transportation to and from school, and maybe a meal or two to help concentrate at school, and a safe school, so he can have an equal shot. The same applies to Johnny Rural, and nobody has said (or acted, for that matter) differently. Get bad grades, or get a RAP record? Not my problem. But they all - grape st and rural America - deserve a fair shot. -
Did they threaten to kill me and key my car 4 times because they were starving? I mean they literally used the word "hate" towards me but they didn't hate me? There is no barriers. You can succeed if you want to succeed. Did you know they raised the qualifications to get into college for Asian people but lowered them for black people? Is that a level playing field? Is that making it harder for Asians or harder for Blacks?

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

Yea, I’ve not seen whether they were going to copy that exactly, and I’m not sure that’ll work for Buffalo haha. But it was just nice to be able to stand in concourse and see the field still. And then the concessions were on like an outer ring. -
yup. we will see how they choose to attack Allen though this week, blitz him at your own peril.

Interesting in-game convo between Shakir and Palmer

Agree we need more balance, but possibly one of the reasons we lose when JA throws 40, is that we are behind and having to play catchup. Against the Ravens, he threw 21 passes in JUST the 4th quarter because we were down by 2+ scores -

What are these mythical barriers? I grew up in poverty but I realized the only barrier to finding success was myself and how hard I wanted to work for it. Trump is a supporter of school choice. So if a kid is growing up in the hood and wants a better education there are options. Literally anyone can get government grants for higher education. -

Ed's game against the Ravens was very similar to watching Aaron Donald. Wrecked a great offense. -

Because they essentially shot US. That’s exactly why this is different. Charlie wasn’t an elected official. He was a good kind man like 99 percent of conservatives that was very very good at what he does, sharing and expressing the views we all share in a very compassionate, open, and welcoming setting where anyone was free to debate. We all do this - post on X. Post here. Whatever. Our version of competing in the public square of ideas. And they killed him for being the best at it. His wife and kids are going to see that video for the rest of their lives. Even if they don’t try to ever watch it they know it’s there. We aren’t EVER supposed to see something like that. Unless you are in a war zone. And it happened on a college campus. And these worthless ****s on the left are playing whataboutism and even blaming MAGA??? You feel like we all on the right do. That we share a country with people that legitimately want us dead. -

And then on the flip side I feel like there's those games where we are so far ahead and then let teams squeak back into it. I know we have a huge point differential since like 2020, but once in a while I feel like we let the foot off the gas. -

Dion Dawkins restructured- $7.8M cap space
First Round Bust replied to One Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall
old news - cap needed for current season IR, PS and roster elevetions etc... new news - hope they included a specific bonus to keep Dawkins getting overly-emotional during Jets game per usual and loosing focus with stupid penalties. -

There are no glass doors into your sections at the new Highmark. At least I don’t think so. The seating bowl is going to be open air into the concourses. -

There are laws against “unfettered gun access”. But criminals don’t follow the law in case tou haven’t noticed. And, ***** yes I’m willing to pay it. That’s why I served this country. -

The barriers you speak of is their culture. Drug dealers glorified, intelligence is looked down upon. Blame everyone. No accountability. Rinse and repeat. -
If the kid on Grape Street has a criminal record and bad grades....that's they systems fault? If the that same kid on Grape Street has no criminal record and good grades....what's stopping him from being successful? Does that mean that every single poor person isn't given a fair shot? People really don't realize this but there is significantly more poor white people in this country. 20 million white Americans live below the poverty line. 20 million that won't get a "fair shot". Johnny Rural is getting the same minimum wage job as your poor black person. 76% of white people make the federal minimum wage.

Yeah, but why should it be hard? Just because one kid made it out of the hood doesn’t mean we shouldn’t continue to work to remove these barriers. Your story about the school was very good. I suspect, though, that the kids weren’t taking your lunch because they hated you, but because they were starving. It’s just that easy huh? -
Have the Jets ever felt like a real rival?
ticketssince61 replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
For a true rivalry, - it has to be a 2 way rivalry - they have to play meaningful games against each other - it cannot be one sided - i.e. one team wins all of the time In the 70's we always considered Miami a rival since we lost to them 20x in a row. But to the Dolphins, the Bills were inconsequential. The same goes for the Belichik/Brady Patriots we hated them because they ALWAYS beat us, but they could have cared less about the Bills. Now that the tables have turned on the Dolphins and Pats - that WE beat them all of the time - I don't have any passion about those games The same might apply to the Chiefs since they have beaten us every time in the playoffs As one poster mentioned earlier, we really have not played any meaningful games against the Jets, and our only playoff game against them was in 1981 -

Most teams you hopefully won’t need that kind of game script which should put less pressure work on Allen and some of the key players. We don’t play Baltimore every week. You don’t want Allen playing Superman every week.
