The play calling on the second series, after Cook picked up 8 yards on first down, was criminally bad, and, unfortunately, too typical of Brady. The situation was begging for play-action, but twice in a row, Brady called inside runs, taking the ball out of the hands of Josh Allen, who had just torched the Ravens on the previous series. Against an explosive offense like the Ravens’, you just can’t afford a brain-dead possession like that one. Inexcusable.

Yeah if the defense is mostly healthy later in the season but still completely ineffectual then you've got a referendum situation. I cannot get too fired up about Week 1.

Buffalo is a somewhat bigger version of Dayton - both midwestern, rust-belt cities - but Buffalo is on the water, so maybe a trip to Canalside or some other waterfront locale might be nice. Whatever you do, I hope you enjoy!

I listed the Bureau of Labor statistics and you invalidated it because it was 2 months ago lol. That is directly from the government. Did you know that those statistics don't include retirees or spouses that don't have to work like stay at home parents? I know my company doesn't represent the whole nation which is why I provided the BLS and Linkedin report. I have the pulse of the hiring market much more than you do. I directly am involved in it. We are so strapped for talent in certain areas where we are hiring people from other countries because there isn't enough of that skill set here. We have positions open for over a year because we can't find that specific talent. US Staffing Firms are a 200 BILLION industry. Billion with a B. How are they making so much money when there isn't jobs? I have been doing this for 15 years. You don't know what you're talking about.

We learned last year that you should never assume no players leaving a game means the team came out healthy. It's crazy how many injuries pop up with this team after games.

Cook practiced in full which is good news at least. Tre seems like he's trending to get back this week, or next week at the latest. Hopefully Oliver's boot and scooter is just precautionary and not a long term deal... but doesn't seem like the type of injury he'll be able to play through in 3 days.

I think you're exactly on the right track here for a number of reasons: 1. The shooter had access to the roof. People familiar with the campus and its buildings say there would be NO access to the roof from the inside without getting an official person to unlock it for you, if you're authorized to be up there. Of course you could access it externally with some help and secrecy, which would involve a bit of pre-planning. 2. A suspicious plane left the Provo airport within an hour of the shooting, it illegally turned off its radar transponder (whatever they call it), and returned an hour later. 3. There were several people within the crowd who appeared to be serving as decoys/distractions. 4. There were several people on the ground who appeared to be giving odd signals. 5. It would be easy enough for a 'crazy' person to simply shoot him straight up from the crowd. This has the appearances of a targeted hit. So I don't think the political left was responsible for it. They are responsible for their reactions to it though.

Do we know what it is? He practiced and no designation yesterday, which likely means it wasn't hurt during practice. Maybe soreness/stepped on?
