Baltimore scores too fast. They make these huge splash plays on Offense and score quickly, but their Defense is left on the field all night. They wear down. 7. Detoit had THE perfect game plan against the Ravens last night. 8. 7 sacks of LJ8. He will definitely need the ice bath today. 9. Ravens 1-2 vs Chiefs 1-2.. LOVE it!!!

And then pivoting to the “regular season doesn’t count.” Chris Canty being a shill of course as a former raven is expected. However, all three of them are on the take and on the verge of tears after last night. 15 minutes in and I’m waiting for any praise or comments on how well the Lions played. Just a basic “lions to their credit,” and that was it before the commercial break. The Ravens are the future of the NFL. …and they always will be. 😏

I don't know what VAR is but I always thought the solution was to shoot strong lasers up from the uprights when the ball is in the air. The lasers would be located such that if any part of the ball is illuminated, the kick is no good.

See I don't see that we do have better control. The one play I think it might change is the run they called on 2nd down with Achane. Maybe they feel they have to pass there. And so of course there is a chance that play goes differently. But there is a chance they throw it into the endzone, which they did two passes later. Whichever way around the Bills defense had to make a play to stop them.

Al, I don’t mind taking a peak at a 26 draft with the caveat that so many things change in 8 months. For me it’s a safety on defense, and a WR on offense. I believe Beane knows what he has in a top O Line so why mess that up? There’s always a way to restructure some people to get McGovern a decent salary or heavier signing bonus to keep the salary lower. The player doesn’t care as long as the $ is competitive.

I didn’t even realize they played each other this week. This is nearly the best quarter of a season ever. I am going with rooting for a KC loss since I want as many roadblocks as possible from getting to 4 straight SBs.

I’m just glad one of them will be 1-3. I think the Ravens lose again because they just have been self-destructing on offense in tight games, and their defense comes out swinging hard and talking loud, but then goes to getting handled in the big moments late in the game. They are a team that can play well with a big lead but tends to wilt in dogfights. The Lions stuck with the run after getting stuffed early and then ended up running all over their asses. They may get up early on the Chiefs and blow them out too, but I think KC is going to bring a lot of pressure at Lamar like they did in AFCCG in 2023 season and don’t think the Ravens will respond well. I think the Lions came out and showed that they are still a NFC powerhouse, and it’s entirely possible to expose their D.

Because Mike McDaniel has issues at times with his clock management and anticipating ahead when to use timeouts. Additionally, if we have our timeouts still in pocket we can use them to reset the D if needed on those last plays. If the ball had been back at the 35-45 or inside the 15 with 55 seconds left, sure, try and preserve time for Josh. Instead, if we let Miami play it out, it's not unreasonable to assume that Miami converts the third and 7 but has 15- 20 seconds on the clock and burned at least one timeout. Now we have better control of that situation than what occurred. McDaniel is under more pressure to take the FG and we didn't give him two timeouts up front to help settle him and make plans.

I’m just watching the recap of last night’s game as admittedly fell asleep during the game. Wow, what a game. As far as the Chiefs/Ravens, I look at it as one will have three losses so always a good thing. I have a feeling the Ravens will win. They are just too talented and the Chiefs are starting to look old.
