  1. Past hour
  2. The morning after 1. Watching the Ravens lose brings me joy. 2. Detroit is such a fun team to watch. The creativity. The "big onions" 3. All I could say after that 4th down throw was "wow" 4. The world deserves a Buffalo vs Detroit Superbowl 5. Lamar with some stat padding there at the end to keep the MVP hopes alive. 6. I said it after the Bills-Ravens game and I'll say it again. Baltimore scores too fast. They make these huge splash plays on Offense and score quickly, but their Defense is left on the field all night. They wear down. 7. Detoit had THE perfect game plan against the Ravens last night. 8. 7 sacks of LJ8. He will definitely need the ice bath today. 9. Ravens 1-2 vs Chiefs 1-2.. LOVE it!!!
  3. There are a couple kickers that look impressive in this crop… I say do it
  4. So amazing… and both will have a losing record. I’m betting the chiefs get stomped, but still fun no matter the outcome.
  5. Me too. SO shocked that I might wind up in the hospital to be medicated if such a surprise occurence were to take place.
  6. 2-game lead over KC and 2.5-game lead over BAL after three weeks? Pinch me.
  7. Maga morons. Still quiet?
  8. I know you are being facetious but I don't think this looks like being a good corner class, no. Safety looks better but I'd be shocked if the Bills went safety in round 1.
  9. Unsportsmanlike on ESPN2 is so much trash…always. From get go this morning it is a Baltimore ravens post mortem. And then pivoting to the “regular season doesn’t count.” Chris Canty being a shill of course as a former raven is expected. However, all three of them are on the take and on the verge of tears after last night. 15 minutes in and I’m waiting for any praise or comments on how well the Lions played. Just a basic “lions to their credit,” and that was it before the commercial break. The Ravens are the future of the NFL. …and they always will be. 😏
  10. I don't know what VAR is but I always thought the solution was to shoot strong lasers up from the uprights when the ball is in the air. The lasers would be located such that if any part of the ball is illuminated, the kick is no good.
  11. In the summer I had Hurts 5 and Herbert 6 and right now I'd keep them in that order.
  12. So then, Justin Herbert hasn't ascended to the Top 5 this season? Too soon? Get with the program... around here we get our news from Adam Schefler. Yes but according to many here, the Bills should fire their entire athletic training and S & C staff. Isn't this where 2-3 posters are supposed to chime in that they wanted us to trade up for him? Brian Thomas Jr and Marvin Harrison Jr, underscore how difficult it is to develop receivers. There are exceptions but the exceptions are exactly that.
  13. See I don't see that we do have better control. The one play I think it might change is the run they called on 2nd down with Achane. Maybe they feel they have to pass there. And so of course there is a chance that play goes differently. But there is a chance they throw it into the endzone, which they did two passes later. Whichever way around the Bills defense had to make a play to stop them.
  14. Any good corners or safeties?
  15. Learn to work the saxophone (I) I play just what I feel Drink Scotch whiskey all night long And die behind the wheel They got a name for the winners in the world (I) I want a name when I lose They call Alabama the Crimson Tide Call me Deacon Blues (Deacon Blues) RTR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Al, I don’t mind taking a peak at a 26 draft with the caveat that so many things change in 8 months. For me it’s a safety on defense, and a WR on offense. I believe Beane knows what he has in a top O Line so why mess that up? There’s always a way to restructure some people to get McGovern a decent salary or heavier signing bonus to keep the salary lower. The player doesn’t care as long as the $ is competitive.
  17. This. Has a chance to improve when players come back, but there's been a trend of coming up small in big moments. I think they've played reasonably well so far given the injuries and new faces.
  18. I didn’t even realize they played each other this week. This is nearly the best quarter of a season ever. I am going with rooting for a KC loss since I want as many roadblocks as possible from getting to 4 straight SBs.
  19. To me, we’ll beat the Aints in our sleep, so the IR guys will be eligible, and the suspended guys will be eligible after the bye. The Panthers will be a tune up for Hoecht, and Ogunjobi. I’m looking forward to seeing Hairston with that blazing speed get up to speed in the Cheats game. So to the original question, we’ll see how the team comes together beginning with the Chiefs. I’m optimistic barring more injuries.
  20. I’m just glad one of them will be 1-3. I think the Ravens lose again because they just have been self-destructing on offense in tight games, and their defense comes out swinging hard and talking loud, but then goes to getting handled in the big moments late in the game. They are a team that can play well with a big lead but tends to wilt in dogfights. The Lions stuck with the run after getting stuffed early and then ended up running all over their asses. They may get up early on the Chiefs and blow them out too, but I think KC is going to bring a lot of pressure at Lamar like they did in AFCCG in 2023 season and don’t think the Ravens will respond well. I think the Lions came out and showed that they are still a NFC powerhouse, and it’s entirely possible to expose their D.
  21. Correlation vs causation. Change correlation to cause and see what the answer is.
  22. Because Mike McDaniel has issues at times with his clock management and anticipating ahead when to use timeouts. Additionally, if we have our timeouts still in pocket we can use them to reset the D if needed on those last plays. If the ball had been back at the 35-45 or inside the 15 with 55 seconds left, sure, try and preserve time for Josh. Instead, if we let Miami play it out, it's not unreasonable to assume that Miami converts the third and 7 but has 15- 20 seconds on the clock and burned at least one timeout. Now we have better control of that situation than what occurred. McDaniel is under more pressure to take the FG and we didn't give him two timeouts up front to help settle him and make plans.
  23. I’m just watching the recap of last night’s game as admittedly fell asleep during the game. Wow, what a game. As far as the Chiefs/Ravens, I look at it as one will have three losses so always a good thing. I have a feeling the Ravens will win. They are just too talented and the Chiefs are starting to look old.
