  1. Past hour
  2. I’d bring him in and talk to him and dig a little deeper. Then go with your gut. Not sure what he’s looking to make $ wise, but I wouldn’t be happy if we went to KC, Baltimore, Cinci, Houston, LAC, Denver or the AFC east for a couple mill
  3. And that’s why Josh is held in much higher regard than Burrow & Herbert. Let’s see Burrow put up those numbers with Kincaid & Coleman
  4. Not sure we need him - we lost a backup rotational DL guy, not a starter. And we still have TJ and Walker to get into the rotation and 2 guys coming back in 6 weeks on our DL too. Wilkins doesn't seem like the kind of locker room guy that fits in here, and then add in he may not start either, that could make his locker room presence even more of an issue. Would I hate it? - No, always up for more talent. Do we "need" to? - No, not IMHO. Do I think it will happen? - Also no. DISCLAIMER - We come out against the Ravens and early in the season and our interior DL isnt cutting it and blows - I reserve the right to change my opinion lol.
  5. He is the most well rounded TE on the roster and he's been a fun player to watch. But it's a bit of a precarious situation with him along with the rest of the TE room starting next year for how much we have invested. Knox is a 3rd round pick and top 5 cap hit (almost 10 million in savings by cutting next year) Kincaid is a 1st round pick and is more one dimensional as a pass catcher Hawes is a 5th round pick and is more one dimensional as a blocker What does this position even look like next year? You sort of need to either keep Knox or replace him with a similar player and that replacement is a full on multi skilled TE. We really can't afford to spend another high pick here IMO.
  6. ngbills was talking about the first 3 rounds. Beane has to be one of the best day 3 drafters out there. That's where he got Taron Johnson, Christian Benford, Khalil Shakir, Ray Davis, Tylan Grabel, Wyatt Teller, SVP, Javon Solomon, Gabe Davis. And look out for Hancock, Deone Walker, Dorian Strong, Jackson Hawes, etc. In no way am I arguing that he doesn't have his misses. He does. But, and this is a tough one to grasp, two things can be true simultaneously. 1.) Beane has continually displayed a good eye for talent across the draft, free agency, and in trades. AND 2.) He's made some missteps along the way that he'd like to have back. But there's one thing we can't argue; The Bills have a top 3 record in the NFL since he took over. And don't give me the "It's all Josh Allen" crap. If that were the case Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert would be in the playoffs every year. And both of those teams struggle.
  7. 🤣 theres probably 200k “fanboys” on this earth. And maybe 8 of you. you’re clearly delusional
  8. I feel that snark loses just a bit of its oomph when the bolded happens. Does anyone agree?
  9. The science joke here that I made among colleagues at the time was... Of course! It is widely reported in the literature that intention to attend a social justice protest instantly results in down regulating expression of ACE2 receptors (covid cellular entry via spike protein attachment) on airway epithelial cells. Therefore no covid spread. Duh. Likewise those with the intention of attending religious services over express ACE2 receptors. Therefore super spreaders.
  10. I guess we will see Walker a lot more behind Phillips. I don't mind that scenario. Hope Carter can recover well and get back to football.
  11. I've seen a could sources urging the Bills to sign Wilkins as a replacement for DeWayne Carter, out for the season with an Achilles tear. Wilkins is famous for being accused of dirty play on the field, including grabbing Josh Allen in inappropriate places at the bottom of the pile. He's also been accused of disruptive locker room behavior. On the flipside, he does have some talent. So, he's the antithesis of a process guy, but could actually provide a talent upgrade over the guy he would replace. Would you sign him? I have my doubts that the Bills would.
  12. Saying Knox is a better receiver just tells me you either just have it out for Kincaid, or you just don't watch the bills on a consistent basis. (Respectfully) I believe it's your hatred towards Kincaid though. Knox has 44 catches and under 500 yards combined the last 2 seasons. There is ZERO world where he is a better receiver than Kincaid. And im not a "kincaid fan boy". I think he's been somewhat disappointing the first two years. But saying Knox is a better receiver than Kincaid just shows you have an agenda on Kincaid. Because no receiving stat or advanced stat will show that to be anywhere remotely true.
  13. I don’t know on the bike, it’s just that it’s not something I wonder about. PennSt is the bike guy.
  14. Not to mention Christian Benford in the sixth round…
  15. Draft bias is obviously strong among the Kincaid fanboys but if you live in reality you'd see that there is nothing he is better at than Knox. And yes, that includes receiving. Has Knox had a few maddening drops earlier in his career? Sure. But he's also made some highlight reel catches that Kincaid could only dream of. It was a dumb pick at the time and looks even worse now. Also, I don't recall Knox, or any other Bills player ever coming up so small at the end of an important game the way Kincaid did last season against the Chiefs in January. Just an all-time pathetic performance on multiple plays when the stakes were the highest.
  16. Dawson Knox is our “traditional tight end”. He’s a nice mix of blocker and pass catcher, an old fashioned TE. Kincaid is more of a pass catcher, Hawes is almost exclusively a blocker (but adds versatility to our Big package) and Latu is 6’6” with long arms. We have something for every occasion, but Knox is the guy who can do it all. We can be too hard on our own, and too quick to love players on other teams.
  17. To my eyes, from the extremely limited amount we've seen in the preseason, the Bills front seven has looked really good against the run, and average, at best, at rushing the passer. Obviously, those preseason performances can't be used much as a harbinger of how the Birds @ Bills game is going to go, but I could well imagine Harbough, based on what we know, dialing up a pass-heavy scheme for 9/7.
  18. I guess my issue when people bring up coin tosses is the probabilities between football teams are not the same as the probabilities of coin tosses. With coin tosses you know absolutely without a doubt that tails will come up despite how many heads has happened. With a team game like football there are so many variables that the outcomes will not necessarily be even between two teams. I do believe the Bills will get over KC and it could happen this season. Completely agree on your Super Bowl comments. Man it still hurts thinking about those. Damn.
  19. Dang, that’s a pretty solid draft.
  20. Just so you know the big bad Chiefs in that same period; 2021: Traded a 1rst round pick for average Orlando Brown who is no longer on the team 2022: Drafted Sky Moore in the 2nd round 2023: Drafted Feliz-Anduike-I NEVER PLAY in the first round and Wanya Morris in the 3rd 2024: Drafted Kingsley Suamataia (barely saw the field last year) in the 2nd round And that's not to mention Claude Edwards Helaire in the first round the year before. As for home runs and triples, like the Chiefs, we have our hits. If Spencer Brown isn't a triple in the 3rd, and Cook isn't a triple in the 2nd, I don't know what to tell you.
  21. You guys can continue to make the excellent points you're already making without the bonus snark.
