Not at all. I was being totally earnest and asking questions I was interested in, no snark at all. (And I'm not one of those posters who view any criticism of the Bills as disloyalty or worse.)

Cowherd compares Bills to Lebron/Cavs
Royale with Cheese replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
We will have another Amari Cooper type trade by midyear. But for a Safety. -
I literally just watched the Cowherd vid seconds before coming here and noted the LeBron comment. Josh doesn't have an A+ skill guy on O, but he's got a lot of B and maybe one or two B+ guys. Let's see with better play calling and a healthy D how the team is after about 5 or 6 games. If Josh still needs to carry the team to victory, then Cowherd's point might be fair. But I suspect that team will be stronger and more balanced then.

I mean.. he’s completely correct though. Mahomes wins with elite talents like Hill & Kelce. When they moved Hill, he was able to win with an elite Defense. Lamar has an AFC Eagles roster around him the past few years. They are loaded on Defense, have talent at TE/WR and have a RB that isn’t just elite.. he’s demoralizing and can single handedly control a game. Josh Allen has a good roster around him, but he’s very clearly relied upon FAR more than any of his peers… and he even elevates in the Playoffs, but so far… that still hasn’t been enough.

Running at a freight train from the side and expecting to stop it doesn’t have great odds. You have picked out the guy you want to rag on all year. Enjoy.

What if the reason Simmons hasn't played is money? Maybe the Bills should think about paying him appropriately. And, yes, it's easy to say for Beane to trade for a stud safety. It's kind of Beane's job. To imply that there are none available seems to me the more clueless stance.
-
Were they though...I mean the Bills won time of possession, yards, and made fewer mistakes...we won the turnover battle +1. I mean watching Henry bulldoze his way through our D sucked...but watching Allen carve them up in the last half of the 4th qtr was just as satisfying. 🙂

I strongly dislike this man. Unfortunately, i might have to agree with him...

He played all 51 snaps actually - link

How much better is the Ravens team on paper than the Bills?
Doc Brown replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
The OP said that we're getting to a Chiefs like level where this team has a championship like mentality to win games where we have the lesser roster which is absolutely true on paper. That's not a the Bills aren't good post. -

I went, and did just that-- yikes.... -
can't be worse than what we saw last night. At least Tre could be in position

You really think coaches are geniuses for 56 minutes, then turn into blithering idiots in the final 4? There's a lot of luck and breaks to being a genius.

Even if we completely ignore the suspended defensive linemen as being a personal choice to sign a suspended player, you do know an objectively far less physically talented rookie corner who has never played a down in the nfl started opposite Christian benford right? like I get hating is a full time job and respect the hustle but I might’ve done some minor fact checking before hitting someone with the “lol” 😂. The corner comment was just borderline lazy

Your list suggests the tradition had (and has) good cause. The film on how Bishop missed that tackle should be a "What not to do" teaching tool. I'm sure Bishop would agree.

I beg to differ.

You can prefer Josh, but most serious analysts are going to call that a push. You have MVP QBs on both sides. -
With all the check downs and getting the ball out quick last season, Cowherd already acknowledged last season that Josh had graduated from "Cavs w/ Lebron". Now he is regurgitating his pre 2024 take. Sigh, predictable and lame.

Which is?

Calm down Jan, I wasn't bashing the Bills with my post. Just thought it would be an interesting conversation. If anything it emphasizes how important Josh Allen and the culture building under McDermott has been here and their ability to do more with less. Or maybe it's an indictment of the leadership over in Baltimore who seemingly have one of the best rosters in football but still haven't gotten over the hump. -
Like in the preseason I found it extremely frustrating that Tirico seldom seemed to mention the Bills' defenders' names who were in on the stop or giving up a big play, though he definitely did the latter more consistently. I had my roster online so I could rewind, check who made the play or who did not, to find this very important info. But tough to do, often tough to see numbers and it also interrupts the flow of the game. It seems like a seminal part of the play by play and also the color commentator's jobs--let us know the names of the players involved! Seems to have really regressed into this over the last few years, when previously letting us know the players involved had been an obvious thing, completely expected. A 'duh', that is one of our main duties. Surprised, and disappointed, to see even experiences broadcasters, like Tirico and Collisnworth, drop the ball like that now too.

It's PFF so take it as a grain of salt, but PFF has Daquan Jones among the top 5 graded defensive players.

you can't win with these talking heads When Allen is Superman, "they rely on him too much!" When we play a balanced game "Lamar is MVP" -
Uncle Tre can take as long as he needs to heal up, definitely want to see Strong get more reps. Imagine having 2 legitimate CBs who had been 6th round picks.
