No actually it was a brilliant throw by an all world QB not many of them make that throw... Palmer made an excellent catch on that... The offense itself it way greater than the sum of its parts simply because we have Allen... they are the reason we will contend... and that is very positive! I think that isnt the issue... I think Henry exposed this defense for what it is... wholly unprepared to play a physical game, poor tackling, little gap disruption and a fire drill in the secondary... if the Ravens were beating us with throws like that in tight windows I think everyone would be a little less down on the defense.. but that wasnt the case... like literally Lamar got to the line of scrimmage and his call was "Hey Defensive people if thats what you call your self... I am gonna go on hut 2 hand the ball to Henry and he is gonna take it to the 2 gap and bitc% slap you all the way to the end zone.... Hut 2 and off he went... all game... quite honestly it was an embarrassment to anyone who ever actually held employment in the entire history of employment and gets paid to work... and Babich needs to go... That said... I don't know where they got it from... when it counted the defense showed up.. kudos to them for that... but the bottom line is unless the defense improves somebody better make sure 17s cape is clean... cause he is gonna need to wear it EVERY game...

Brady had a very good arm, and was accurate. But his super power was his high pre-snap IQ, then the arm and accuracy made it all work. Allen is better than a lot of Super Bowl winning QB's and SB loser QBs for that matter. It's not even debatable. Football, however, is the ultimate team sport and no QB is winning it all on their own.

Derrick Henry is undoubtedly a better player than James Cook. But the difference is not an infinite chasm the Bills fall behind in. Let's not forget that Cook has made the Pro Bowl the last 2 years, and has the ability to go the distance on any play from scrimmage. He did just that on Sunday night. Defenses have to stack the box against Henry. But it's not like they can just ignore Cook. Football is not just about individual players standing out. It's about how ALL the pieces work together as a whole. The Bills don't get a lot of individual accolades, but they play together as a TEAM better than almost anyone in the NFL. And their depth is exceptional when injuries hit. So people can say all they want that we don't match-up with the Ravens in terms of talent. But last year we scored 30.9 points per game, and they scored 30.5. Meanwhile, we gave up 21.6 and they gave up 21.2 ppg. It's not just a two-game fluke.

I just saw the money line was Bills -330, which gives an implied 77% chance of winning. So you're right where Vegas is now. I do think the Jets will be the most improved team in football this year, and our only real competition in the division. Given that this is an early season game (where true talent probably wins out less frequently) and in NJ, if forced to bet this one I would take the Jets at +260. Which I won't do because I'd never bet against the Bills!

I agree that of any aspect of this game, the D will come out and play better than Sunday night. They cannot get gashed in the run like that again. The Jets have a good RB in Hall but he's not Henry. Overall though, I think the Bills will suffer a bit of a first half hangover from the big Ravens comeback. They should come on in the 2nd half to come away with the W. Hopefully it's not a last second sweat it out type thing.

Just watched that clip from the endzone all-22 view and if Oliver didn't push his man into the backfield, Henry was going to house that one from 70 yards out. Had a wide open gap with a blocker in front of him and nobody in the 2nd or 3rd level to even slow him down. Oliver played like a Hall of Famer in this one and we needed him to or else they would have put up 50.
