  1. Past hour
  2. Walker was projected to be a possible first round pick until he had the back injury season. I think it's clear that we got an incredible value there and he's got a lot of potential. We might be looking back at this draft and calling it a home run in a year or two.
  3. Sorry….😞 Still better than than the alternative! Good luck!
  4. When needed the passing game has been quite effective - in the 4th quarter to beat the Ravens and tonight when we converted that 3rd & 5 to basically seal the win. As others are saying this is an intentional effort by the Bills to not become over reliant on an explosive passing game that thrives in September but can disappear in November/December.
  5. Bills just didn't seem to have full intensity and looked a little too comfortable at times. Need a little more intensity and urgency. And have the receivers catch the ball!
  6. Idk but that was a horrendous kick tonight
  7. He's getting a lot of cardio in on game days it seems.
  8. why can’t you have both?
  9. Where is @BillsToast
  10. I wish Trent Edwards could play a few possessions for us every game so we could avoid topics like this being started every week.
  11. She immediately then chimed in "With a Z!" like that mattered lol
  12. Someone on X put it this way. Walker is Benfording TJ Sanders right now….. So far sounds about right. Early days though.
  13. Had so many doubts about this pick... if the Bills trainers can continue to help him build up that lower body strength and developing the habits to stay low the kid could really blossom into something special. Fingers crossed his back holds up - when he was drafted with those back issues I was not expecting him to take as many snaps as he has. Expected they would need to ease him into the rotation, but it does not seem like they are coddling him at all.
  14. The Brady-era Pats won like a dozen games against us that looked like this. If you just don’t put the ball in jeopardy you win the game like 90% of the time even when the inferior opponent plays better than expected.
  15. I know the D has some things to work on after this one…but what a play. The immediate recognition that Waddle was going to run that short route, and the instincts and ability to jump the pattern to seal the game was huge. I think the Bills D until after the bye is going to look like this. Up and down but once we got everyone back, this could be a very, very good group.

  16. Normally teams don’t replace starters when they come off IR. Any chance Prater sticks?
  17. You realize the dolphins were playing for their lives today and whipped out some old school mcdaniel concepts? Tons of crossers, bubble screens, running back swings? I watched both dolphins games the first two weeks, they were not doing that as much. They went back to their roots tonight. Quick passes, dont force tua to have to read too much, 3 step, throw. Classic mcdaniel.
  18. They just like to play conservative for some reason......in the 4th quarter, they were running plays as if they had a 17 point lead when the lead was only 7.
  19. Division games can be tough. With that said, I’m glad the Bills got the win and are 3-0. Would’ve liked to seen Brady call some better plays, especially downfield. Guess I shouldn’t complain too much, especially since the offense scored 31 points. Still don’t get why McDermott didn’t challenge the sideline catch from Hill early on in the game? On defense, they gave up way too many third downs. Where is Rousseau? So far, he’s been invisible this season. Great INT by Bernard! Hopefully once Oliver and Milano come back, the defense will look better than they did tonight.
  20. But it is when you also have one of, if not the best offensive line in football at the same time. Champagne problems. It’s a long season, the goal is to get to the playoffs and it’s easier/safer to that by just mashing teams for fun all the time rather then exposing the QB to meaningless hits, not to mention putting those passing plays on film until it actually matters. The half assing the regular season is their latest effort to learn from the chiefs who perfected that two years ago. I’d rather this then enter January on empty like in years past.
  21. You realize most of the routes were under 10 yards and his throws were in the three second range?
  22. We won. All that matters. Another huge play by the defense late. 3-0 baby plus ten days rest.
  23. It was a survive and advance game. Miami came to play and Buffalo was extremely conservative and it was clear Allen was coached to hand off and do quick check down throws. The Fins also tried to play a conservative, mistake free game, to have a chance to win late. It almost worked. Bernard with the INT at the end when Miami was driving to tie it saved the game.
  24. The same problem we had last year still exists again this year. It's why Beane traded for Amari Cooper 6 weeks into last season. We don't have receivers who can win on the outside. We have a group full of complimentary pieces carried by the best QB in the world. Brady tries to do what he can to scheme around it but the intermediate and deep passing game is generally a non factor unless it's from plays extended by Josh's legs.
  25. Congratulations to all who picked the Bills, well done! With the final score Fish - 21, Bills - 31, the winners are: Gold - @Bookie Man, 20 - 31, for a score of -2 (-3 for getting the Bills score correct). Silver - @newcam2012, 23 - 31, for a score of -1 (-3 for getting the Bills score correct). Bronze - @MarkyMannn, @BritBill, and @Freddie's Dead(fix), 17 - 31, for a score of 1 (-3 for getting the Bills score correct). See you all next week!
  26. Or you could have just quoted me the 1-2 points easily since you are the one who brought it up but all good lol
