I totally disagree, that was 13 years ago. He is ranking head coaches as of now, not 13 years ago. McDermott wasn't even a head coach during the 2012 season. My advice to Terry is go get Lamoriello. Besides winning Stanley Cups with Devils, he also brought the Isles back to respectability from the clown show of Charles Wang and Garth Snow. They went to back-to-back ECF's a few years ago. If not for the Lightning, they might have won the Cup. Lou isn't perfect but he will get the Sabres to the point where they will be competitive. At this point Sabres fans would be thrilled with that.
