  2. As ridiculous as I know this sounds, I genuinely believe the Bills allowed Allen to have too much input on the WR he wanted to target from this draft class, and I do believe he (Allen) asked for Keon, and this had been reported previously as many of us already know. In the season prior to drafting Keon, we had an ongoing issue with receivers that could NOT make contested catches. This issue ended up being the reason at least a few of Allen's INTs happened; they were contested situations where the other team's DB "won" the ball from our WRs. There were also a couple deep shots in the playoffs where our WRs - including Diggs - failed to come down with the ball and this likely resulted in the notion that our offense needed a WR that can make contested catches, and unfortunately, that led to Allen and/or the Bills honing in a little too much on Coleman, the WR from the class that was all about the "contest catch" trait. The weird thing about the Bills suddenly becoming hyper-focused on acquiring a receiver that could make contested catches is that it wasn't really a "thing" that our offense had a "problem" with prior to the 2023 season, in the first place. But unfortunately, since it was a theme in our most recent season, it became a focal point, when arguably other things should have been instead... A couple other things come to mind, like if the Bills were purposeful in seeking out the "anti-Diggs" receiver as if to prove a point or something after releasing Diggs. To prove to everyone "See Diggs could never do this for us". Well, too bad we have more memories of Coleman flailing his arms in the air than doing that which he was drafted to do. (But if we were going for the "anti-Diggs" I would have much preferred the field stretcher anti-Diggs with 4.3 or better speed. Forget the contested catches, THE DEEP THREAT is what has been missing Allen's entire career). Bottom line though. The pick was always a mistake. We're just getting the "worst case scenario" of it, it seems.
  3. 2 weeks in a row I've seen him blocked from the hash into the sidelines by a TE. Rough to watch. But if we are talking about play falling off a cliff, holy Bernard. He looks absolutely lost on the feild, like he doesn't know what hes supposed to be doing in certain coverages. I dont get it.
  4. They could. But if they steal the #1 seed and Vrabel and his staff have two weeks to prepare, they're probably going to thump somebody.
  5. I think they need to go 6-1 the rest of the way. 10-7 probably won’t get in because they don’t have any tie breakers. I also don’t think the Broncos will collapse enough to pass. It’s not impossible, but it’s a tall order.
  6. Not contenders IMO. Bills D got tore up in the run game by one of the worst rushing teams in the league while also being down their starting back. Not putting much pressure on the QB. If Tampa had their top wrs that game probably went differently even if we still scored 6 TDs. if they can somehow turn around their defense then maybe.
  7. After today's 6 TD performance, here is where we stand through 10 games: Passing TD's: 18 Rushing TD's: 10 Total: 28 Combined TD's. Needs 17 TD's in the next 7 games........if he can get 6 in one game, 17 in 7 should be doable.....the over is still in play!! Now on pace for 47 combined TD's!!
  8. He's our Mahomes and more recently, drake maye
  9. Yes. They will beat both NFC North teams and could win both of the others too.
  10. Also people here tell me that time is a flat circle. Perhaps the Patriots will show that they're legit... I have no idea. But until they actually win in December and in the playoffs, I'll remain skeptical.
  11. But do you see something? Is that you chase?
  12. Yeah I don’t think they go far in playoffs. Division game at best. I guess it depends on who they play.
  13. The last word of your title should be spelled w-e-e-k
  14. Dawkins had a lot of false starts last season as well. From 2020 to 2023, 3 or fewer false start penalties per season. 2024 he finished the season with 10 false starts. So while it's clear something is going on, you really can't pin it on "regressed this season". Holds not so much. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DawkDi00/penalties if you're interested.
  15. Sure, but this game was a complete departure from everything the bills have done this season. It felt more like a response to criticism than anything else. Was great but not sure how reliable it is. I should’ve said my thoughts a little more clearly. I wish the offense was more game-plan oriented (or better at game planning) rather than “this is who we are” (also applies to the defense). I’d like to see them take more control and assert dominance. today felt chaotic and unsustainable.
  16. Haha yes, they will 😂😂😂😂
  17. Even in his prime, Milano wasnt a great tackler. He was a heat seeking missile with elite play diagnosis, but never swallowed up Running Backs. Now he’s older and has a pec injury. Between him and Bernard, it’s like watching 2 dudes with T Rex arms and zero ability to get offs blocks. Complete jailbreak ever time the Running Back gets past the line of scrimmage.
  18. I believe they can win all of em. Pittsburg might not even have a qb. I read Rodger’s might have a broken wrist.
  19. This Houston game is a big test If Buffalo wins they will basically have a three-game lead on the very last wild card spot and put Houston in a very bad situation. They're probably the best defense in the NFL and it's on a short week on the road. I said in an earlier thread that it reminded me of the Jim Kelly Bills in 1992 that went on the road to play the New Orleans saints. If Buffalo wins this game even if it's a low scoring grind it out game I will be extremely impressed. I think if they can do that ,get 10 days rest ...I think it's very possible they go on a run for the one seed. If they lose to Houston they'll probably be a five or six seed and be on the road for the playoffs. If they do lose it's not the end of the world because I think Buffalo will have a psychological edge over anyone in the playoffs except for KC. And maybe KC is out of the playoffs but I'm not doubting them until they're eliminated
  20. He probably saw the WR off-balance and took it as an "indicator" that he'd been yanked. Hopefully it was a cheap lesson to knock that nonsense off and call what you actually see instead of what you couldn't. <laughs at own naivety>
  21. I think they’re probably losing the bills and ravens games and will just hold onto the afc east but will lose their first playoff game if I had to guess if the bengals weeks were flipped and they got the likely game with burrow instead of us I think we’d have a good chance at stealing the division back
  22. There's nothing wrong with being concerned after a win but the word used was "miserable" and I agree there's something wrong with a person being miserable after a win. Yes and to your point, the 2 point conversion pass he emailed over Reggie Gilliam's head happened with 9 minutes left in the game. It was a bizarrely great performance by Josh but one that I think a lot of people are having a hard time processing. I don't have a problem with friction in the locker room. Like I've been saying, you have (or should have) a room full of alphas... and a team without the occasional heated disagreement is a losing team. If people are embarrassed or ashamed of anything they post in the game threads, they shouldn't post in the first place, IMO. About 5% of what's posted in those threads has any value... the rest is honestly pathetic which is why I stopped participating and reading them. It's like listening to WGR and having a lobotomy at the same time. McCarthy is being given a multi-week audition. If he fails, the Vikes are still gonna want to have Jefferson around to help develop their next QB prospect. It was hard to hear but it sounded to me like Coleman was being patient, mature, and thoughtful in his replies. If the replies weren't satisfactory to some people it could be due to age and cultural differences... but the hatred he's getting is really disappointing to me.
  23. If we go 4/4 you deactivate, deal?
  24. Their record will possibly be worse than ourss so their draft position will possovly be better. What sucks is we aren't going to win a Super Bowl this year with this team Sooooo unfortunately on the year when the the chiefs stink, well so do we.
  25. how do you know they aren’t that good yet? What evidence is there? Maye isn’t Tua, he has a strong arm. They also have a decent run game and decent defense.
