  1. Past hour
  2. Which is something we need
  3. In the past, the U.S. has taken stakes in companies to provide cash and build confidence in times of economic upheaval and uncertainty. Literally pulled from your article. Peak tds.
  4. I tried selling my Trump pearls, but the jewelry store said they were worthless. And in 2.5 years republicans will be screaming about how communist the Dem presidential candidates are. Personally, I think we have a more of a corporate government….government by and for corporations.
  5. I wanted to commend you on the douche canoe thing and didn't think a thumbs up really spoke to how much I truly enjoyed it. Well played.
  6. Good call Bobby. Embarrassing such a loaded team has that much free space.
  7. Won’t happen because Jerry is a douche canoe, but I’d make anyone, outside of Josh, available in a trade. Who you want?
  8. Saints overpaid for a good young player. The rest has been deck-chair shuffling.
  9. Trade for Shaheed (Saints) or Watson (Packers) would be beneficial too, both cost less and don’t demand a big contract to boot. Josh has proven to get the job done. If you’re trading a first round pick for something to add on this team, CB/Safety/DE would be a better jettison of future resources. At least to me.
  10. He typically has the opposing offense’s full attention.
  11. He did that three times already and someone else got all the credit. and that is why he makes all the final decisions because he wants to be credited. he has three rings and a gold jacket and still needs his ego fed daily.
  12. I think you’ll be very pleased. Having been in there, and on every level, of the new stadium last week, I believe you’ll find it to be much more intimate than the current stadium. I was struck with how enclosed it is. The new stadium’s seating bowl give the feeling of being right on top of the field. It might be the steepness, but I think a lot of is the roof overhang, and the consistency of the upper deck running all the way around the field. It feels NOTHING like the existing stadium. And as someone who’s been to quite a few of the NFL’s existing venues I can honestly say it will be completely unique to the league…at least for a while anyway.
  13. During the drought days, I one time successfully convinced my dad, who was not a gullible guy by any means, that Spero Dedes rented an apartment in Buffalo during the season just to avoid having to fly there 6-7 times a year to call games.
  14. Our top 3 receivers are Palmer, Shakir (slot) and Coleman. The question is who are their backups. Moore and Samuel are Shakir's backups. Neither has much utility as a primary boundary receiver if Palmer or Coleman are injured. That leaves Shenault and Shavers as the backups. So would you rather have Gabe Davis as the primary boundary backup or Shavers and/or Shenault. To me the answer is easy. I'd rather have Davis.
  15. Winning a super bowl is the biggest ego booster
  16. I'd take Davis as the 3rd or 4th guy on the outside over guys we've had in the past like Sherfield or Deonte Harty. I don't mind Samuel but the guy is never on the field so if Davis is healthy coming in when option 1, 2, and 3 are not available you could do a lot worse. I also think the way we run the offense now takes the pressure Allen to force passes outside and that's good for everyone as well.
  17. UPDATE: Chargers-Chiefs Brazil announcers have been updated! Pre/post game and LA host names are also in for that exclusive game
  18. Beane used to invest significantly in WR but basically stopped since the Diggs trade. I think there’s an argument he felt burned by having a star #1 WR.
  19. He is worth like 15 billion dollars or something. He doesn’t need money. He needs his ego fed 24x7 at all costs. Parsons is the same way. when they sign his contract this weekend they will both be laughing about all this.
  20. a title would make him so much more money but he doesn’t realize that I guess
  21. Kyle Williams replacement
  22. I think JJ ends up paying him like he has the rest of his star players. He always drags out negotiations and ends up paying more than he could have if he had just paid them sooner. It’s like an annual Dallas tradition at this point. lol After hearing Jones talk at his Netflix premiere, everything he does truly is just all about creating storylines to keep the cowboys name in the news cycle. (listen to the whole 59 second clip. It’s a more detailed answer than the Twitter quote) his contract negotiating strategy never made sense to me until this interview. I could never think of a logical reason why he always seemed to wait for other star players to set the market even higher. But now I think he views the headlines a contract dispute creates as being worth more than saving cap space (by getting a deal done sooner) to use on depth players.
