  2. What I’ve started doing is buying with their financing and then immediately refinancing. They tell you that you can’t for X months, but that’s just how long they need you to in order to hit their financing kickback. There is never anything in any contract that prevents you from financing nearly immediately with your local credit union at a much better rate.
  3. The dysfunctional teams are for more interesting to watch, since the drama is built into their dysfunction, but I enjoy my team’s content. Probably wouldn’t watch if it was another successful team like the Chiefs of the Ravens.
  4. Hamler definitely knows how to work the spotlight. McD messing with that ref had me fooled too
  5. Who is Lisa fisher?
  6. Bored whiteys picking up some pocket change as they fight tyranny.
  7. I think it's a done deal.Just dotting the I's and crossing the t's
  8. This is why they dont put good teams on Hard Knocks. Not much interesting going on. Kinda like this board during the drought years vs when things have been good - a lot less to talk about nowadays.
  9. I like Hamler taking over for Hollins as the goofy WR
  10. I assume they will end up giving these stuffed animals to a pet shelter, ASPCA or Lollipop Farms (in the Rochester area). There are many more. At least some of them have volunteers come in regularly to interact with the animals. Stuffed animal would make their lives much less boring.
  11. I always wondered why he never wears short sleeves, even when it's hotter than hell outside (e.g. early season games at Miami). There's the answer, I guess.
  12. You may call yourself whatever you wish. Your posts allow is to decide whatever we wish. You are not a Republican.
  13. They just didn't test for it like we do today so people lived with it for decades, so that's part of it. But in general the environment is far more toxic, the food is much worse in terms of how it's grown and processed, and pesticides and plastics are causing havoc from before we are even born. Also people are deathly afraid of the sun and sun blocking constantly so most are extremely low in Vitamin D, which is your body's immune modulator that controls your entire immune system and is not really a vitamin at all, but a pro-hormone. So all in all, honestly surprising more people don't have it.
  14. There is a middle ground here. Give the dude some money and let’s go win a Super Bowl. He’s the 2nd best player on the offense. Whatever money it is, it’s not going to be that bad. Let’s go. Go win the thing and move on with your lives. Win a Super Bowl and no fan is going to complain about a contract for 20 years
  15. Shocking. Gotta be some guilt there but they couldn’t have expected it but damn they have to think what if they had known
  16. Also wonder, if the Lions offense takes a step back? I still think Goff is an average QB who has a ton of weapons to mask his average arm talent and lack of mobility.
  17. He's the owner. That's what he gets to do. It doesnt seem too intrusive, and he certainly doesnt try to make or even influence decisions that much. There is a balance for owners. Less is more, but you still need to be present a little bit. It's also from the same clip they used last week, just different part of the discussion. So what was a 10min conversation at St John Fisher has been chopped up to look like he's around more.
  18. Well, Sal speaks more of my feel about Cook in this saga. Cook is likely torn between wanting to be a good teamate and getting his money following the advice of his brother and agent. Probably the reason for this unusual "hold-in" stance a week into the training camp, and back to practice today after a heart-to-heart talk with McDermott who probably explained the practice/on-field side of things for his overall own good (leading to more financial leverage). I don't know a contract is forthcoming, and that looks to be a consistent sentiment from all those covered the Bills today at practice. Many of them said they have no idea if Cook is sure to even practise tomorrow, though I would think it would create much worse problem for the coaching staff and fellow players if Cook decides to do that. Coaches and players all have practice plan, like who is in which personnel grouping and plays a specific role in each play; no one likes to have unexpected changes showing up at work.
  19. I think that’s part of Hard Knocks. I don’t think he is that involved regularly.
  20. seeing him standing next to McDermott talking shop, and watching tape with Beane, is beyond cringeworthy.
  21. Hard Knocks already struggling for content!
