I would be shocked if he shows up this week. until camp it’s all just noise.

Dareus was already paid, he wasn't a "let walk" candidate IIRC. Plus, he was notorious for being a little bit of a locker room goofball. It wouldn't surprise me if he started rubbing McD/Beane the wrong way off the field and they just wanted him out. Honestly, yes, right? It may not be even particularly close.

Cory Booker: NAZI!!!!!

I see the feline play here, I don't see the connection---I see you less a 'stalk your prey' poster, more of a Stewie from Family Guy player. As for your posting stamina--I appreciate all that, but to quote an old friend during a very difficult stretch at a stressful job..."Hey, we can stand on our head for a year if need be.". The more likely outcome is I lose interest in the subject matter, though certainly remain appreciate for the hard, dirty work you put in. How I would overrule historians? What does this mean? Swing and a miss, Miss. There are many versions of socialism, yes. Thank you, we could stop here and agree. Again, I acknowledged that I thought you were approaching this from a textbook perspective (no criticism intended), in my original post--my quick review of the subject matter suggests that 'worker owning' is often substituted with 'government representing the collective'. Yes, branding, we agree. Thank you. Point 2 has been addressed. That there was overlap with fascist tendencies is obvious. I feel like there is spillover when discussing any of these situations. As for 'some of his supporters', sure. Some rejected his approach. Some were full-throated supporters of his theory of social welfare and strong government , abhorrent though it was. Some went along for the ride. There is a Garfield joke in here somewhere, but I'm too much of a gentleperson to flush it out. -

They added the personnel to play more of an attacking Defense. I think that's what McD wants to do, but I'm still skeptical. I'm tired of rushing 4 straight upfield while we play soft zone 10+ yards off & watching good QBs carve us up with ease like they're playing in a 7-on-7 tournament. -
The Cowboys, Overexposed? Maybe. Overrated? .... You Decide
FireChans replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dallas had one of the best draft records for about 10 years running. From 2013 - 2023, of the players they drafted 13 AP seasons 44 Pro Bowl seasons And they had 2 losing records during that span. For comparison, the Bills over the same stretch had: 2 AP seasons 19 Pro Bowl seasons Dallas gets a lot of grief on here because they tend to get exposed in the playoffs and are talked about in media circles like they are in the Super Bowl every year. But they have been an objectively good team for quite a while. -
I don’t think flowers in his hair is what they really wanted him wearing, but I guess it’s a start. 🤷♂️

Who was invited to Josh and Hailee's wedding?
Gregg replied to Willie West's topic in The Stadium Wall
Being the NFL is like one giant fraternity. I wonder how many players/coaches from other teams were there. -
If he is not at TC, then I will be concerned. I don't expect him to be at mini-camp.

Jerry Jones is not a marketing genius. He bought a team at a time when they were at their lowest level and actually were irrelevant. They had the biggest fan base in maybe all of sports and still do. They nailed their first few drafts which were run by landry's old people and jimmy johnson. They built a great team and won a lot in the 90s. All the cowboys have to do is show up and they get attention. The national media has been writing the same stories about the cowboys since jerry bought the team in 1989. Nothing has changed. They have a giant fan base with buying power because it spans all generations. They get national ratings on tv because people want to see them lose. No one in Dallas has been a marketing genius since Tex Schramm invented the cheerleaders and requested to play every thanksgiving. Jerry came into the league a stubborn bully doing whatever he wanted and strong arming the leadership in the league to his demands. His one claim to fame is the tv money. that is his one thing he has done. He hired jimmy johnson and took the tv deal and ripped it up and got fox to buy the nfl. Everything about the jones family and the cowboys sucks the big one. Jerry Jones is an epic scumbag. He made his original money the old fashion way though fraud and ripping off taxpayers. He and his buddies and their Arkoma natural gas buisness did a sweetheart deal with arkla the provider of natural gas to resident of arkansas and louisianna. They ripped off taxpayers with excessive charges and the only way to stop the sweetheart deal he had was to buy his company. So jerry sold his gas company for 174 million in 1984 because the state basically had to get out of the deal it signed with jerry through jerrys pal at arkla. Jerry walked away rich and used the money to buy the cowboys and the state (arkansas public service commission) sued his company for fraud but he walked away scott free without a single penalty. His pal who gave him the sweetheart deal (Sheffield Nelson) lost his run for governor in 1990 because of the fraud that was exposed by him and jerry. Now jerry is one of the richest people on the planet. -

Hailee uninvited him because he was skinnier than the bride and she wasn’t having it. -
He won't be there. Dalvin held out the offseason. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/29283874/vikings-rb-dalvin-cook-hold-reasonable-deal-source-says

I was wondering the same thing. Is the overhang just gonna flap in the breeze? 😄 -
Mandatory mini-camp starts a week from today. Among other things, it will give us a little more of an indication of how serious the rift is between Cook and the Bills. Presumable, if Cook shows up, it is an early indication Cook is willing to play out his rookie deal before offering his services up for open bid in 2026 and beyond. If he doesn't show up, it raises the odds of a holdout that could last into training camp.

Gonna see more man to man coverage to support more aggressive pressure schemes. Not much against the Ravens though; you just can’t turn your back on Lamar very often. -
That's a good point.
