  1. Past hour
  2. It's definitely Beane/Mcdermott for the whole roster though. The lack of talent? Sure I would say that's mostly Beane. But McDermott also has a big say on how this roster is constructed. He hated the Brian Daboll philosophy where they couldn't run the ball. So Now we over corrected on offence, and have constructed an offensive identity where we want to run/play clock control. That identify, McDermott definitely has his fingerprints on
  3. actually last week some guy on here tried saying they throw more deep passes than the rest of the league combined lol but I’m with you. So tired of the backward passes
  4. Under Beane/McDermott nepotism is king
  5. You trust lil baller Beane to plug the boat in the draft?
  6. C. over $1mil in interest on a 50 year loan. That's $1mil less for retirement and still paying a mortgage at 75 or 80. Lord, I hope people are smarter than that.
  7. And now MLB is involved... Cleveland Guardians' Emmanuel Clase and Luis Ortiz charged with pitch rigging : NPR
  8. Yes. I'm trying to deal with the here and now, though
  9. I'm wondering if the 2026 1st round pick was tied up in the offer for Williams?
  10. Bernard is playing like Ellison right now. Same body type as well.
  11. Which is what should have happened years ago but excuses, excuses, excuses…..
  12. Injuries are the key IMO, but I agree with everything leading to poor performance RN. And agree, McD has had to take over unfortunately. Babich was a poor decision, but hes reluctant to let him go and honestly it makes zero sense at this point of season --- McD will just continue to call it. But I dont think the defense is the reason for us losing. We have serious issues putting up points when needed. We kept this a 16 point game for quite some time and the offense had plenty of chances to score. We even got off the field again at 16-6. Then Josh turns it over. Same story vs Pats and Falcons. Defense couldn't make key stops, but the offense was given plenty of opportunities as well and somehow with an MVP player, we cant consistently move the ball when needed. These are NOT great defenses that we went against, good in Pats and Falcons, but horrivle in Miami. If we had Denvers team, maybe we win 10-7. But its an offensive struggle to move the ball at times right now...that is obvious
  13. That's what I'm saying. If your plan is to wait another three or four years to make a change you'd be better off trading Allen and just giving up. Because it's gonna take a MINIMUM of two years to turn the mess around, and he'll be far less valuable at 32 than 30.
  14. Scheme (or was it GM preference?) also prioritized big bodied physical WRs that can block. Our guys get little to no separation and Brady doesn't scheme much for WRs anyways. We have such little room for error on Offense with long sustained drives and dink and dunk passing. If we're off or have some miscues, we struggle to get chunk plays and explosive TDs (unless Cook breaks one)
  15. Quite possible, but the receiver was completely blanketed and we aren't sure where the receiver was supposed to ultimately go. That said, it's typical of Josh's poor games. When the run game is stuffed, opposing teams just don't fear our current receiving group. There isn't a lot of room in there for Josh to place the ball and he starts making questionable decisions. It is undoubtedly the worst receiving group in the NFL at the moment.
  16. It's both. Brady is not some wünderkind like people made him out to be and the WR room is CLEARLY lacking.
  17. Agree, been saying it for awhile with these coordinators. We can have a lot of debates about McD. One topic I don't think his supporters can debate is he won't hire coaches that want control. Plenty of NFL coaches will let guys come in as experts and take over. The best ones will be required to have this environment to even consider the job. McD won't look at those guys. It's the same as the roster. We would rather promote from within than best man for the job. Our internal farm system of coaches and player development simply isn't good enough when other teams are looking at the entire league and best coach/player available.
  18. in the past, we had the players and the style on O where if we were inconsistent, we could cover over it with some big splash plays. Not anymore. We have to execute all the little stuff at a high level with the style of offense they now want to play.
  19. Josh is about to be 30 (or is). You can’t wait a couple of years to do it.
  20. It seemed we couldn’t establish the running game. The best passing plays were Josh avoiding the rush, scrambling around, avoiding defenders and buying time until he finally finds someone open & completes the pass. That tells me that the actual play calls for both running plays and passing plays were not working all game.
  21. I always liked Nolan more than Ruff. Not popular I know but I did.
  22. In hindsight after today, there are two many roster holes and coaching issues to think getting fleeced for draft picks would have been worth it.
  23. I agree, I do think maybe the ship has sailed with regards to plugging in a new coach and finishing the job. They do not have alot of talent outside of Cook and Josh, a new coach might not get them over the top at this point. That said I believe you aren't winning with McBean so it is time for a change.
