  3. Go ahead, remove the NG from LA. See what happens...
  4. The Bills, at least, seem to consider NCB and boundary CB as different positions, and also seem to think NCB and S are a lot closer to each other than either is to boundary CB. We've seen a number of S/NCB depth guys - Siran Neal and Cam Lewis both come to mind - but very few boundary/nickel depth guys. Jamarcus Ingram is about the only one, and even then he's only played on the boundary when there was no one else available. Both Neal and Lewis have also filled in at boundary CB, but only when there were multiple injuries in the same game. My guess is that Parrino has internalized that after a number of years covering this team, and was meaning "boundary corners" specifically. Also worth noting: Parrino isn't allowed to report on where players are lining up, but he is able to witness it and remember. It's possible that Hancock has been practicing exclusively at S all spring. If that's the case, Parrino would probably not think of him as any kind of corner at this point.
  5. Two things: 1.) Dov Kleiman is one of the worst accounts on Twitter (this question of his proves it. $500? GTFO) and I will continue to advocate for everyone blocking him immediately and indefinitely. 2.) If the proposition is that they will NEVER win a Super Bowl in my lifetime if I take the money, then there is no amount you could offer that would get me to accept the deal. Call me foolish if you want, but my Bills fandom is such a fundamentally large part of my life and bring me so much joy that I just can't imagine taking that deal. My life is good. I'm healthy, I have a roof over my head and food in my fridge, a family and friends that love me, I get to travel here and there. So you're asking me to give up one of the things I love most in life for, what, a bigger house and more vacations? The ability to not have to go to work? Nah. I'm good. Gimme the Lombardi.
  6. lmao
  7. Gurley is a good example of the other piece of "value" being availability. The contract went SO badly for them, that i think it caused some of the noted de-escalation in AAV. Since running back is the most injury prone position, I would think the agent's are now putting a higher emphasis on % guaranteed vs. boosting the AAV. The cap % comparison will be important for the next batch of young players getting contracts, and honestly there's so many backs that I think every GM is in wait and see mode. Next year free agents: Breece Hall, Kenneth Walker, Kyren Williams, James Cook, Brian Robinson, Isiah Pacheco, Travis Etienne, Rachaad White, Jaylen Warren, plus any cap dumps. Bijan and Gibbs are coming up on extension elibibility, and they're the ones most likely to exceed Barkleys number. Jonathan Taylor also needs an extension. Should be interesting.
  8. SCOTUS will overturn. There was no evidence at all he even met her except for that party in the late '80s.
  9. I find it extremely ironic that there is playoff hockey discussions occurring in a Buffalo Sabres thread.
  10. Yeah I don’t disagree with anything here, just pointing out that speed doesn’t necessarily drop off a cliff just because a player ages. Usain ran that time in sweats and without warming up, so if he had dedicated a couple months or so to running his fastest 40 at age 33…? I’m not so sure it would’ve been a couple of steps lost from his prime. Would it have been slower? Minuscule, certainly not by greater than a tenth (as evidenced by his 4.22). The wear and tear on the body is the biggest culprit for why one would drastically lose steps. If the body is well maintained and the player is lucky enough to avoid major injuries, they can continue making a living running with the young guys.
  11. One of the best 5-6 year runs of all time for a wideout. Given his career stats I imagine he still is a fringe Hall of Famer. Just depends on if the writers and the league want him in. Look what they did to TO, and he wasnt a criminal.
  12. That's 1 NFL WR making that. Only 5 guys over 30M. Despite "setting the market" at 40 million, the next highest 2025 contracts were 33M (Metcalf), 28.7 (Higgins), 22M (Adams), etc. Right now Chase is an outlier, like Barkley--who "reset the RB market" (so I read here) at 20M (7% of cap). No other RB has gotten close to that in new (2025) contracts.
  13. Airplane II was good. It wasn't all recycled jokes, which is usually why comedy sequels are bad/stale.
  14. Oh to be sure I do not think he should get a pass... but bottom line he is mentally ill imo and needs help... or more people are gonna get hurt.
  15. Thanks, Egg! Wish I could rap, or had the desire. I’d flow over my own beats 😅
  16. while the team in St Louis seems to draw the biggest crowds (4ok sometimes) there are games pulling in just over 2000 fans in the stands. Where are they supposed to put a game like that? High school fields? Unfortunately in this case "the networks" aren't simply the broadcasters of this sport, they are part owners of the league. so they have to fund the league with their own "TV money". it's a poor model
  17. Yo. Watched it. Some bad mf’in’ words. But you be keepin’ it real. Peace out my homey. (I upvoted it G)
  18. OBJ was the market setting contract though. A better comparison would be Chase's contract, which is 40M AAV. All the way up to 14% of the cap.
  19. while it's true that RBs share of the cap has not kept pace with the increase in cap, WRs AAV has. OBJ's AAV was 10.1% of the 2018 cap. 30 million AAV for today's WR is 10.7% of the cap. No inflation there, just keeping pace.
  20. I think putting some of these teams in enormous stadiums is weird, and the TV money is really the only thing that keeps this going. They have fewer teams and games than the NLL for example, and average less attendance than the bandits. They limit the roster size more than the NFL does to keep payroll down. I'm sure travel and expenses cuts a lot of that. Pro football requires a certain size of surface so something like a tour becomes challenging as you have to either use university or NFL resources. Even premier league teams tour in the offseason, but with UFL money its going to be difficult - and part of what makes sports exciting is rooting for your team.
  21. Tell us you don’t understand the reconciliation process without actually telling us. Nailed it.
  22. Rubio Fires All Overseas USAID Staff U.S. Secretary of State / National Security Advisor, Marco Rubio, and Director of National Intelligence ODNI Tulsi Gabbard continue making background moves well worth noticing. Secretary Marco Rubio has moved forward with instructions to fire all overseas USAID staff. WASHINGTON (AP) — Secretary of State Marco Rubio ordered U.S. embassies around the world Tuesday to move ahead with a directive to fire all remaining staffers with the U.S. Agency for International Development. He said the State Department will take over USAID’s foreign assistance programs by Monday. A federal judge had temporarily blocked an executive order by President Donald Trump for mass firings at multiple federal agencies, including the State Department, and plaintiffs say Rubio’s reorganization plan appears to violate that court injunction. The Trump administration says the plan was already underway when the president issued the order, so there’s no possible violation. U.S. District Judge Susan Illston has yet to make a determination. State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said Tuesday that Rubio’s directive “wasn’t a surprise.” https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2025/06/11/the-duo-strike-again-rubio-fires-all-overseas-usaid-staff-gabbard-appears-to-have-nabbed-another-one/
