He is at the point he may not have his true fastball anymore, but it really doesnt matter. When the lights are the brightest he balls and that is the best compliment any athlete can get. I also think the Rams load manage him now which will deflate a QBs numbers a bit but is a very smart idea. Stafford gives me hope that Josh when his time comes to age can evolve and still be a really good QB that can win. Last season actually had me most excited with Josh to see him take what the opponent gives him rather then going for kill shots all the time. That will help him immensely extend his career.

More people on the ground in the middle of the mostly peaceful protests saying exactly how much they get paid.

Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?
Ralonzo replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
The role Coleman fills on THIS offense would not be filled by Worthy. X MUST block and block well (see: Davis, Gabriel and Hollins, Mack). While receiving is 1A, for the Bills, blocking on the outside is 1B. If Coleman can be 80% the blocker Hollins is while simultaneously being 80% the receiver Worthy is, that's much more important to this scheme than one OR the other. People are also forgetting Coleman just turned 22, which is only a couple years older than Edmunds. Talking about him like he's reached his ceiling, I'm not on that train. I feel 75/25 that he surprises to the upside this year, especially if he gets a few more calls when DB's are pogey'ing his jersey that he didn't get as a rookie last year. -
That’s why I find this list so interesting. The game has changed quite a bit over the decades and positions like Safety have changed with it.

It's a good point that for a lot of Bills fans who only watch Bills games and the post season they probably saw the best of Stafford and that likely influences opinions.
-
Case and point supporting this. The games before and after the Bills Rams shootout which Stafford was quite good (320 yds 2 TDs) he had 183 yds vs the Saints and 160 yds vs SF. They won both games, but he was not a major factor. The biggest thing is in the post season he was really good again which does raise a QBs profile.

Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?

Dont think we need a WR1, as long as these dudes become more clutch. We had Diggs in his prime and he dropped a perfectly thrown JA bomb in a crucial moment. Kincaid was drafted to be our Kelce, ends up being injured all year and drops a miracle throw from JA in yet another, crucial moment. We have an elite OL and an elite QB, with one of the best OL Coach/Run Game Coordinators in the league - Aaron Kromer. We have an above average RB room with Cook, Davis and Johnson. We have a solid TE room with Kincaid, Knox and the projection of what Hawes can be as a blocking TE. As for WR’s.. this group is better than last years, where Allen won MVP and we, yet again, lost a coin flip game against KC with some bad breaks and an injury riddled defense. I think Coleman and Palmer have WR2 potential in this Offense. Moore and Samuel WR3 potential. And Shakir is an upper half of the league slot WR. This Offense should be elite, as long as Coleman, Palmer and Moore (at least somewhat) pan out. I don’t think Allen needs a WR1. He just needs guys to be clutch when it matters. Hell, Gabe Davis, a WR3 at best, was a monster in our best chance yet to get to a Super Bowl.. and then the coaches and defense spazzed. This team, outside JA, needs the clutch gene and injury luck … a WR1 would be nice.. but I don’t that is what holds us back. -

I understand your enthusiasm for the events of this past weekend but you exaggerated what was said in a way normally reserved for roundybout or redhawk. That’s on you.

he played a single game with Brady in NE, lol. great point doc! When the 2018 season ended, AB was the best WR in the NFL--maybe you are suing a new definition for the word "spent"?. Anyway.... You don't think McD, who handled Diggs, a total head case, for a few years could not make use of AB? Why not?

So only a small percentage were paid to show up? Come on man. You know saying that people were PAID to go to protests is silly conspiracy BS. Your post even hammers home the point. So you’re saying only a handful of the millions? I was saying - correctly - that millions of people protested across the country. The resident right wing weirdo (Homeboys counterpart on the right) said “many were paid.” So the “deep state” thought “there’s already millions of Americans across the country at these protests without getting compensated, but we should pay a handful more?” You see the absurdity in that, yes?

Yea I think the "eye test" would tell you the past 3 years Stafford has not played as well as any of those guys you have him grouped with. So it is a Championship from 4 years ago that raises him up. I just think that is slightly inconsistent with the way you have ranked those in the elite group.
