I think people are thinking in terms of the 1-seed and playoff bye instead of just making the playoffs or winning the division. When you're aiming for 14+ wins, there are more "must wins" along the way than if you're aiming to make the playoffs.

As for the Falcons, Michael Penix appears to be the real deal and Atlanta’s best hope to crawl out of oblivion. He’s surrounded by young, quality playmakers in Bijan Robinson & Tyler Allegeier at RB, London & Hodge at WR and Franks & Kyle Pitts at TE. Their Defense is ..well, small. But aggressive.
