This! Mack was dependable, energetic and had great awareness. I wanted him to stay but the Pats needed him.

Joe B (The Athletic) on passing game problems (with data)
Pete replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s a barometer on Bills Mafia’s opinion of Joe Brady. Terry Pegula knows the Bills play for Bills Mafia. McD is not happy about our one dimensional offense. I’m sure Terry isn’t happy with Bills passing game. So Brady can hide his head under the bed, but the pressure is mounting -
Carson Wentz to have season ending shoulder surgery

The only AFC team with a proven pedigree are the Chiefs, next in line are the Bills and then it is the Bengals and the Ravens who are both lagging way behind this year. KC going to 7 straight AFC championship games is incredibly painful for the rest pf the AFC. Only 4 teams this decade having reached the AFCCG. I want the Bills to face someone else in the AFCCG this year so that someone else can represent the AFC this year and I 100% want it to be the Buffalo Bills. Whether we are the the Number 1 seed, the AFC East Champions or a Wild Card it doesn't matter to me, obviously who wouldn't want to be the #1 seed but that isn't the only route to the Super Bowl. Are the two new "upstart" teams for real? Indianapolis and NE. Can LAC and Denver keep the AFC West out the hands of KC? Only the true franchise quarterbacks have made it to the AFCCG this decade, (Mahomes, Allen, Burrow and Jackson). We can moan about a lot of things but we still have a legitimate shot this year. Go Bills!

He just said "chance." That means he isn't 100% done for the year as evidenced that McD didn't say that either.

Carson Wentz to have season ending shoulder surgery
zow2 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I had a right shoulder injury a couple years ago. Probably nothing close to what Wentz is dealing with and it was the most painful thing i’ve ever experienced. You can’t even sleep because every movement is excruciating. for months. I could not even toss a ball for a year. I still feel it but it’s much better. I have empathy for Wentz here. -
OJ had 273 yards rushing and the Bills lost...
Ethan in Cleveland replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
As I reflect on this it is weird. I have more knowledge of the AFL teams than I do most of the 1970s teams. I started watching in 1980. Love the comments and history lessons. And I would defend the position that OJ is the most physically gifted RB to ever play. Brown was bigger but OJ combination of size and speed I still do not think has been matched. -
It wasn't me! It might be worth pointing out that rape in Sweden does not need to constitue penetration with the penis. The rapist in this case briefly penetrated the victim with his finger. So the reporting on this is not very honest (leaving out important details from the actual ruling). However I still think they got it wrong. If the court says it is a rape I have a hard time understanding they don't find it serious enough for deportation. Not sure what this has to do with fascism? Are free and independent courts bad?

No one is denying Allen's involvement in picking a WR. That's a given. What some of us dispute is the notion that Allen worked hard to get Coleman picked over other options. The argument that we needed someone like Coleman was sound and I'm sure Bean & Allen talked about the need for a big bodied boundary receiver who could turn 50/50 catches into 80/20 ones. My disagreement is with the idea that Allen exerted pressure on the Bills scouting staff and GM to take a guy that they didn't really want and they drafted Coleman to keep Allen happy. IMO the evidence is that Bean & Co. selected the guy that they believed best fit their need within the framework of the draft capital they were willing to part with. Allen was asked to sign off and he did. As an aside, I'm not ready to write Coleman off yet. I've seen enough flashes over the last 20 games to believe that he might still develop into the high end WR they thought they drafted. I have this feeling that Coleman's story is not done yet. -
McDermott said in his presser that the offense cannot be one dimensional. He literally said they need to throw the ball better to WRs, TEs and RBs. So i think he’s giving Brady an earful about it.

Carson Wentz to have season ending shoulder surgery

Forgot about that comment, but I found it weird when watching the game. Basically saying QBs should never show that they're in pain because his teammates will see it. -
Takes a QB with a rocket arm and proceeds to make him throw it 20 times a game behind the line of scrimmage

Ed Oliver bicep injury - likely out regular season
Big Blitz replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
There has to be a chance or McD would have said he’s done. My guess is outside chance late January. That’s 3 months. -
Allen just needs a better offensive mind to work with. He has peaked and this staff and system is getting stale

"Tet" is some analyst's fictional nickname for McMillan. He never used that at Arizona, he has always been T-Mac. -
I don't agree that this team falls flat in January, with the last two being three-point losses, along with other worldly occurrences as an NFL player having an actual heart attack on the field and almost expiring. To me, it's more of simply the worst streaks of bad luck I think I've seen of any team over the last five seasons, on the defensive side of the ball. Now, this season, we have seen this bad luck with injuries to the defense continue, especially to the secondary and some rookies. In the most recent game, we saw what a near full-strength defense can look like against a team with a winning record. 7 sacks, 244 yards of offense vs 410 yards. I say NEAR full strength because the team was lacking their starting linebackers and some players in the secondary. Then lost their star DT for perhaps the season. I can only hope that the defense isn't FUBAR this season in January...along with the hope that Joe Brady fixes the pass offense.

So David Chao is full of BS? Yesterday said decent chance of return in playoffs if he had surgery within 48 hours. -

There's other articles that literally say Josh Allen watched film with the coaches while talking perspective prospects He certainly saw lad McConkey Xavier worthy and all of them Unless Brandon Bean is lying saying that Josh watched film with coaches talking about potential players Not every team wants to trade with you every time you want to make a trade either it takes two to tango -

Yes, I believe he got an injection in the shoulder to limit pain and it got infected causing him to miss a lot of time. Not the type of thing you worry about moving forward. Knee sprain does not appear to fit in the chronic category. With his frame, injury is a natural concern but its football.
