I've heard this so many times week over week going back to at least 2022. Never happens. We have never come off a bad performance and showed out the next week. Expect the same 1st half sleep walking, and then everyone (coaches included) hoping Josh pulls off a miracle to get us a win.

I don't get how he can be on 'thin ice'. How a billionaire owner would want to tolerate this (same goes with our hockey team as well). If I were Ross, I would act now. You install a team president. Not sure who is out there, but someone needs to be brought in and evaluate and fix the broken organization and culture. Grier should be gone right when a suitable replacement can be onboarded. Also, McDaniel should be out immediately. You don't lose anything by letting him go. This team isn't going to suddenly and magically change its trajectory. They have a dead hand and no use to just continue playing it. A new coach will better show who is worth keeping (and paying). You have to figure out what the hell Tua is. Installing Rex Ryan and expecting everyone to be suddenly motivated and everything fixed is only going to waste at least 2 more seasons.

He’s only 2 1 years old. Cant wait to see him with a proper NFL offseason or two. He has toms of room to grow, get stronger, faster and quicker. Scary thought.

Full disclosure, I was never a baseball fan because it’s too slow for me personally. I would have a Braves game on in the background sometimes, but it was mostly white noise to me. I stopped even doing that back when they had “confusion” about the strike zone. The Ump does not decide the strike zone. It should not be different from guy to guy. I’d have an electronic strike zone before putting up with their arrogance. That’s just my way of looking at life. I don’t need to appease anyone’s ego. I also avoid the NBA like it’s my job. Same reason.

The “everybody eats” never made any sense. Put your best players on the field! I agree…Shakir and Kincaid should be north of 80% each and every game.

Yeah, I think it's pretty plain that this Bills team is good but not great. I think the offense will bounce back, and the defensive reinforcements, especially Oliver, should make a difference, but they're no juggernaut the way they have been in the past. The only real hope of going all the way is that no other team looks great, either. Or that Hairston is a revelation and someone tells Brady that Kincaid is on the team. Or Beane trades for a CB and WR. Or all of these things. Anyway, a good humbling may be just what the team needed.

My concern is that, historically, these "lulls" seem to last for multi-game stretches.

Where did Cook land? Agreed that's way too low for Kincaid, especially for how he's been performing. Brady needs to learn when to make adjustments out of "everyone eats" when guys and plays are hot.

On to Atlanta. Stopping Bijan is the priority. No different than they did with Hall and Achane. I think this is a get right spot for the Bills as a team. Offense plays a clean game. Defense gets out to a fast start. Their offense is good on paper. London and Pitts are hot and cold. Defensive head coach and wants to win a certain way. Allen and the offense come out hot imo creates a style Atl will have trouble matching.

I expect most "progressives" believe what Smith did was okay because in order to stop Hitler from assuming total control anything goes and if you need to bend the rules and disregard the rule of law that can rationalized because the stakes are so high. For them its always 1938 somewhere regardless of the lack of evidence that parallel is aligned with reality.

It’s that bad because of what the refs got away with after that Saints PI no call…. All of the coach challenges that were denied even though everyone with eyes could see what happened. Couple that with the league capitulating to the ref union after that Packers/Seahawks replacement ref game and…. Unchecked egos from the officials and support of the owners.

The deep diving has more to do with me enjoying the intricacies of the game of football. Yes, you can boil it down like you did here. You can watch the ball 100% of the time in the game and enjoy the hell out of it. I dont bemoan people who do. But why bother commenting on the thread if its not what you like? If I am honest I cant stand the guy. A big part of that has to do with him being a very good coach.
