  2. Trump Justice Dept. Closed Investigation Into Tom Homan for Accepting Bag of Cash Mr. Homan came under scrutiny after he was said to be recorded last year taking $50,000 in cash from undercover F.B.I. agents. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/20/us/politics/tom-homan-fbi-trump.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare Tom Homan, who was later named President Trump’s border czar, was recorded in September 2024 accepting a bag with $50,000 in cash in an undercover F.B.I. investigation, according to people familiar with the case, which was later shut down by Trump administration officials. The cash payment, which was made inside a bag from the food chain Cava, grew out of a long-running counterintelligence investigation that had not been targeting Mr. Homan, according to the people, who spoke on condition of anonymity to describe the case. Mr. Homan’s encounter with the undercover agents, recorded on audiotape, led him to be investigated for potential bribery and other crimes, after he apparently took the money and agreed to help the agents — who were posing as businessmen — secure future government contracts related to border security, the people said. After Mr. Trump took office this year, Justice Department officials shut down the case because of doubts about whether prosecutors could prove to a jury that Mr. Homan had agreed to do any specific acts in exchange for the money, and because he had not held an official government position at the time of the meeting with undercover agents, the people added.
  3. She seems nice. Fun fact - every kid she knows is trans.
  4. I hope the Chiefs and Ravens lose. The results of the other games don’t matter too much to me.
  5. Had a great day today and deferred errands and grocery shopping to tomorrow to support the great day. Given the 1pm slate, i am not unhappy with my choice.
  6. I was gonna Google the time to drive from Sacramento to Kirk's memorial. Maybe it's designed that way...
  7. Exactly. Coaches and the theme of the league is too off base for my liking. You get 4-6 possessions a game. The Bills need to simply execute and just get the job done.
  8. wasnt it keon that was just up there in the high right area? you play close condensed routes it makes seperation harder..
  9. Simply put. It’s the coach. And maybe the gm. They’re not changing their ways. i do agree with everything exactly youre Saying though
  10. they kinda said it pretty good on buffalo plus. they mentioned that yes the offensive is balanced and yes they are putting points on the board but going back to last year its like it just seems to difficult at times. their feelings were they could do more to just make it easier on the offense to get points. a safe short game is nice but... if it takes you 20 attemps compared to 10 to get down the field thats double the chances for the D to stop you or something bad to go wrong.
  11. “Arguably true” - C-section
  12. Let's juxtapose that with some Tua footage....
  13. watching replay of allens throws, there were guys open..definately when you talk nfl open. a part of that is it seems like the likes to go through his reads sometimes and so he will move on past an open receiver and theres no time to go back. ...sometimes I wish he would see the guy and throw... the window doesnt stay open long but it does open. as far as no one open deep...i figure most were like me not wanting to see bombs way but just a little deeper depth at times.
  14. Yes, he is as length x width x height as a concrete urinal.
  15. Buffalo needs a playmaker at Safety in the worst possible way.
  16. This is a point I was going to make in another thread but didn't get to when discussing his career in Carolina with @Simon The Bills tried to do something developing Lewis Cine what Shaq Thompson was in Carolina. Thompson isn't much slower than Johnson (4.66 vs 4.5) but he doesn't move as fluidly or have the hips that Johnson does. But he's 2" taller and almost 40 lbs heavier. This would have been a difference against the Ravens. Thompson never quite reached his potential in Carolina which is why he never got the accolades his two teammates did (Davis, Keuchly) but he was a very important part of what was the best 3 LB's in the league. Thompson can be the big nickel for us but I also have hope he can be a hybrid LB nickel with Johnson playing on the field to disguise a dime or quarters defense. Both Johnson and Thompson can cover man coverage. Thompson has done a tremendous job keeping himself at the angles needed to attack a potential pass catcher even if his speed can't always match his angles. I have a lot of hope for something that will be phased in against strong passing teams and balanced teams like the Eagles, Chiefs, Lions, and even the Patriots. Teams who effectively use short passes to put the ball all over the field and use a run to supplement the pass. The eagles can lean on Barkley if they want but they just as easily will take the passes over and over again to the safe man. It'll be interesting if we can tap potential on defense to cover our inadequacies. I wish there was a viable option at safety. Wtf is Simmons doing?
  17. what year was that? lol i didnt mind the song but i wouldnt want to wake up to it for groundhog day
  18. Hi👋 , that was me and I was absolutely wrong. Cook IS dramatically better than Davis and Johnson and really is a difference maker. I didn’t think it was worth paying him, in just 3 games, he’s proven he is one of the best in the business and somehow looks even better than he did last year. Also, Ray Davis has to be the most disappointing guy on the roster this year, he’s a massive drop off from either Cook or Johnson.

  20. Today I just learned that Zay jones is still in the NFL
  21. I hate that song, I lived above a bar in college (it was a matter of convenience), cleaning ladies would show up in the morning and play “Killing me Softly” on the jukebox over and over. For those unfamiliar with a “jukebox” it was a large record playing device, into which you put money and selected songs. The were mostly manufactured in North Tonawanda.
  22. Yes, this should be a close low scoring game with the Pats winning. Give me NE on the ML.
  23. That just about says it all !!
