  1. Past hour
  2. Some folks see it differently but I agree. i think “I don’t fire McD until he loses the locker room” vs. “i fire him if he loses to the Chiefs again” is the same take. I can’t imagine he DOESN’T lose the locker room if he loses to the Chiefs again. It would be an even more unprecedented 1 sided postseason W/L.
  3. all of them... every last one of em ... trying to take away my happiness..... LOL hate em all.
  4. I think short of missing the playoffs and losing the locker room he is here next year especially with the new stadium opening...
  5. I want to see improvement against KC in the playoffs, or hopefully just avoid them straight to a Super Bowl victory. McD is a great coach. However, I’ll never feel comfortable about our chances while this apparent mental block against KC exists. This coaching staff and team is absolutely intimidated by KC in the playoffs. The decision making ability of the staff goes straight down the toilet against KC in the playoffs. It’s exactly what people nervous people do. Blame Kincaid, the officials, or whoever you want for the AFCCG loss, but we made some really awful coaching decisions in that game. No one will ever change my mind on that.
  6. If we don't get to the dance in the next 2 years, Beane should bear as much of the blame as McDermott and should get sent packing along with him. He's done a lot of things as GM that deserve a lot of criticism. Kaiir Elam, The Von Miller albatross contract. Giving Stefon Diggs big contract extension and then trading him. Overpaying guys like Dawson Knox. Under valuing receivers and then panic signing a bunch of redundant slot guys when it's clear we don't have enough talent at the position. Signing two defensive guys who are going to be suspended for the first third of the season. There's probably a lot more I'm forgetting.
  7. I love McD. I think he’s an awesome coach. I don’t know how he doesn’t lose the locker room with another Chiefs playoff loss. If the Bills beat the Chiefs and lose in the Super Bowl, outside of a disastrous choke in the big game, I’m fine to run it all back. I just don’t know how Dawkins and the rest of the gang will still be receptive to the McD message after 0-5. It can’t be possible.
  8. Then why hasn't a deal been made between Cook and the Bills? I personally don't think the Bills look at Cook like the Rams look at Williams. Williams got a ton of carries and snaps even with a good Blake Corum behind him last year. The Bills like the committee approach. And that works for us. So the Bills maybe offering Cook less than $10 mill per year, and have probably told his agent, we are not paying a rotational back top 10 RB money regardless of how good 2024 was. Because that is not how we use our RB's. If so, Cook should get his butt on the practice field, and play out the final year of his contract. Then he can become a free agent, if the Bills won't pay him in a range that he will accept after this year.
  9. We have not had a good Fire McD thread in quite a while. There is so much new information to mull over since the last one. /s
  10. Going to need at least two more massive playoff blunders before its even considered. Sadly I think thats inevitable. He simply lacks the decision making skills needed in the biggest moments. Hoping Josh gets lucky like Elway did and gets a head coach who can bring this team across the finish line in the twilight of his career like Shanahan did.
  11. I saw the same thing, but was afraid to mention Wright on here, due to the most likely well-deserved visceral reactions. But yes, that was eye opening and disheartening. I hate to say that, besides his KC homerism, his takes can be pretty spot on.
  12. While I don’t dispute that and hear you Sometimes I’m surprised how many Bills fans have totally moved on from their hatred of the Patriots. I mean Brady had more wins in Buffalo than a lot of Bills QBs had in their career. Since the Josh Allen era the Bills/Dolphins history of head to head matchups is pretty even.
  13. I like McDermott. A lot. I truly believe he is a great person. But if we lose to KC againnnnn this playoffs. How can the players ever honestly believe we will overcome it without change?
  14. Dawkins was drafted in 2017 and he is elite. People who know offensive line and secondary play consider Brown and Benford to be among the best players at their positions. Do I think the Bills need to find/develop 2-3 more of these types of players that are above the "good" tier that many Bills players drafted by the Bills are in? Yes, I think the Bills need to develop Kincaid into an elite top 5 TE and get Torrence to being one of the best guards in the NFL, I also think the Bills need to find at least 1 big time D-line difference maker and a player in the secondary that can also move the needle (hopefully Bishop). But I am also not going to sit here and act like some of the players they have drafted aren't home run picks either.
  15. Uh what Bruce Arians won in Tampa after being fired by the Cardinals Andy Reid had quite a long career in Philly before he won in KC.
  16. It would have been far more interesting if they had McDermott and Beane on to talk about Schoop and Bulldog's job security.
  17. I hate them because I think we would have multiple SB trips without them. Why not hate them
  18. Who do you think would be better than McDermott? Remember 2 things: 1) McDermott is the only coach with no prior NFL(AFL) coaching experience who has ever been successful in Buffalo. 2)No coach has ever won another Super Bowl with a different team. So unless you can come up with a candidate who has HC experience who has never won a Super Bowl, you're likely getting a guy who is a downgrade from McDermott. Just about anyone you come up with is a crap-shoot. I prefer to stick with McDermott as long as he has the locker room. The only way I would fire him would be if he lost the players, something that has not happened yet. You fire McDermott, you might just end up with someone like this guy:
  19. Isn't Buffalo Joe still Buffalo Joe, though?
  20. So extra taxes on almost everything are just no big deal
  21. I just want all the defensive investments from this offseason to mean something when it matters. If it's same old same old in the playoffs this year, then what was the point? With all that investment and a defensive head coach, we really should expect a top 5 defense.
  22. Atlanta thought so. We got a #1 pick for Price.
