  1. Past hour
  2. Broncos on historic start: Defense has NFL-best 36 sacks, offense allowed NFL-best 8 sacks. The Broncos are the first team in NFL history with at least 35 sacks on defense and 10 or fewer sacks allowed on offense in the first eight games of a season. They are currently the AFC West division leaders at 6-2. KC could be looking past Buffalo!
  3. I’m not the one even bringing up the pats. In saying this game is huge. Another guy brought up the Pats. I think we will catch the pats. But I’m saying if we can beat KC we can bury them
  4. I almost hit him with my car as a teenager downtown before LOL true story. Night before a season opener, near all the bars (I wasnt there for that), kept creeping up in my car as the white line was behind these 2 buildings... parked cars on side of road and busy traffic, very tricky to see, busy traffic. I krpt creeping up and was tunnel visioned on an opening. Getting ready to hit the gas and outta the corner of my eye I see something. Stomp the brake! A VERY ANNOYED FAMILIAR LOOKING FACE CROSSES IN FRONT HAHA I yelled, "I ALMOST HIT THE 'PRISON BREAK GUY!'" MY BAD WILLIAM! I'M NOW MUCH MORE AWARE WHEN CREEPING FORWARD IN THOSE SCENARIOS
  5. he's doing nothing for that team with a small number of sacks nearly halfway through the season.
  6. when you grow up and have children you will understand. There is a moral line, yeah I wouldn’t commit murder or rob a bank for my kids. But man made borders? They are imaginary and not a concern in the good moral book I follow That would be the solution yeah but no one is really trying that
  7. I'm very confident that the best college QB's are having a much easier time adjusting to the NFL then their predecessors ever did. I've watched NFL football for 60 years and can't think of a time with more high quality young QB's. Hell, every year guys from college show up and tear the league a new one. IMO we are seeing the best and most productive QBing in the history of the NFL and it has a lot to do with the high quality training these guys are getting in youth & college football. Down here in Cincinnati the youth & high school football is very advanced. My grandson is a WR and his team mostly was in 3 & 4 wide out sets. They all had to look to the sideline to see what hand signals the offensive coordinator (yes they had an offensive coordinator in 7th grade) was using to call the play. They routinely moved back and forth from spread to tight formations based on the call. They employed motion on a 3rd of their plays. They played 11 games inducing 2 playoff games and 10 of those teams were heavy shotgun users.
  8. '09. Great place to get an education and not feel overwhelmed by a giant campus. Took a drive through the other day and saw Fitchner's face on a giant banner. To quote my teenage son. "That dude went here?"
  9. I loved him in Drowning Mona. One of my favorite "movies that time forgot".
  10. That depends on how the courts might rule on challenges to the validity of citizenship claims arising from the use of the anchor baby "loophole". I don't expect the intent of the amendment is to facilitate pregnant women to enter the US with the intent of having their child here in order to grant the child, and themselves, residence and citizenship in the U.S. I think that's an issue.
  11. That viewpoint is honorable, but extends the problem. The solution is to stop the US being a safety valve so that these folks don't have to fix problems in their own country. The first thing we should do is deny citizenship to any child born in the US under a false visa application or to an individual whi is in violation of their visa date of expiration. We don't do any of that, thus the industry.
  12. Very frustrating to see the difference between their high powered pass game and our struggling group right now is basically two choices… We signed Curtis Samuel / They signed Hollywood Brown. We drafted Keon Coleman / They drafted Xavier Worthy. Going to come down to our DL vs their OL. We’ve barely had Ed, won’t have him moving forward, but even with a makeshift group through 7 weeks, we’re an elite DL in QB pressures. I love our EDGE group and how versatile they are… that’s the group that needs to shine on Sunday.
  13. Hate that no matter how many times he burns us or how old and slow he is, Travis Kelce is ALWAYS left wide open for 10+yds accompanied by a 15-20 second pan to TSwift. ALWAYS!!
  14. Lol, this is all fair. They’ve embraced scumbags. I guess that I don’t really think about it because they aren’t really their core. You’re right though. That’s pretty bad.
  15. Fellow Brockporter here...'85.
  16. They may have to change that with Nick Bolton being hurt. That said the Bills best chance is to have a balanced offense.
  17. Considering they had a player cause a multi car accident and just walked away. Then his mom gets caught stealing Amazon packages. The Coaches son who was arrested for pointing a gun at a driver in a road rage, ran a drug emporium and drove drunk…injuring two children and one is handicapped the rest of her life. Then while Tyreek was there, multiple legal issues including domestic violence and child abuse. Kareem Hunt beats up a woman. Frank Clark arrested on an assault case. Justin Cox arrested for burglary. Isiah Buggs arrested for domestic. Not to mention, they get the calls. There was a stat I heard that in the playoffs, the Chiefs somehow get called penalties something like 3x less than their opponents. It was something like 36 penalties for the Chiefs with 12 against.
  18. Living proof that alums of SUNY Brockport can be amazingly successful. I am doing my part to dispel the notion. Go Golden Eagles!
  19. As both a Chiefs fan (KC native) and secondary Bills fan (weird, I know, but it's complicated) I think the fanbases are mirror images of each other. Both are loud and passionate. Blue collar, for the most part. Small market. A history of heartbreak. I've never met a Chiefs fan that didn't admire Josh Allen and respect the Bills organization. Of all the Chiefs' rivals, the Bills are the least "hated" from what I've seen. Can you point me to specific examples of jerk KC fans? Of course! But you wouldn't have to look too hard at every fanbase to find the same. I can only speak for myself, but during this magical run I've heard Chiefs fans praise the Bills more than any other rival. Or at least give the grudging respect the Bills deserve. You should hear Chiefs fans talk about the Raiders, Donkeys and Bolts -- screw those teams and their fans!
  20. I hate that big stupid looking wolf or whatever the ef he is, that's always in the endzone...I do like when he bangs his head on the goalpost whenever the opposing team scores, however.
  21. The two key matchups: Chiefs WR against our secondary. Plus Buffalo rising pass rush versus beat up Chiefs oline. It's also got new wrinkles so may be hard to get on blockers. In some ways, even with Ed out the ingredients are there to make Mahomes uncomfortable ala the Superbowl. I do like the Bills chances on this one.
  22. Two wide receiver trades that I believe haven't been mentioned in this forum (or barely been mentioned) that lie somewhere between plausible and fantasy: Chargers 2023 1st rounder Quentin Johnston started the season on a trajectory to have his best year ever with 4 TDs and at least 79 yards in each of the first 4 games. In the 2 games since he's had a total of 70 yards and 1 TD. More significantly, even though he's healthy his snap count in week 8 was his lowest of the season and he was outsnapped for the first time by this year's 2nd rounder, Tre Harris who's also a big fast deep threat. Would the Chargers trade Johnston in conference? The Cowboys have had no contract talks with George Pickens since sending a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick to Pittsburgh for him. They're paying Pickens only $3.656 million this season and are already paying CeeDee Lamb the third highest contract for WRs in the NFL. Would the 3-4-1 Cowboys consider trading him for a big haul of draft picks rather than see him possibly depart in free agency?
  23. "Irrelevance" doesn't change the fact the kid is as American as you or I...does it counselor?
  24. Asked AI to write some autopen lyrics to the tune of Born In The USA. Born with an autopen Born with an autopen Born with an autopen Born with an autopen He came in from Delaware, hair plugs and a grin Took the oath on the steps, let the machine begin They handed him the pen, but it wasn’t in his hand A robot signed the laws, across the whole damn land Born with an autopen Born with an autopen Born with an autopen Born with an autopen Pardons in the night, ten thousand at a click Student loans wiped clean, didn’t need to lift a wrist Sent the boys to war with a signature so neat Never saw the ink, just the hum of the machine Born with an autopen Born with an autopen Born with an autopen Born with an autopen Down in the West Wing, they got a little device It signs whatever they want, doesn’t think twice Executive orders flying left and right Joe’s taking a nap, but the pen’s working all night He got in a firefight with the press one day They asked who wrote the bill, he just walked away Left the autopen running, looping his name Now every law in the land looks exactly the same Born with an autopen Born with an autopen Born with an autopen Born with an autopen I’m a long-gone prez in a nursing-home town They wheel me to the desk when the cameras come around But the signature’s perfect, every loop and line ‘Cause the autopen’s got the job, and it’s doing fine Born with an autopen Born with an autopen Born with an autopen Born with an autopen Born with an autopen!
  25. It probably sounds weird but I don’t really hate the Chiefs. I used to hate the Dolphins. I hated the Pats even though we never competed with them. The Chiefs are annoying and the ref thing (specifically spots) is super annoying. With that being said, I don’t hate Mahomes (at all really), I don’t hate Reid, I like Spags, I don’t hate Chris Jones, Kelce annoys me, Nick Wright is super annoying but in general I don’t hate them. I respect them. We just need to get by them in the playoffs.
