Ravens vs Chiefs Game thread (the Bills lamp is lit)
Sojourner replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, he is quality. I’ve never knocked him or believed he can’t. He is just a better passer, like most, when there’s a run game. Having him be the absolute focal point to pass the ball is a detriment to the team you built. -

They are missing a lot of dudes on defense. -

I'm relieved it's at Highmark. Should be ok as a home game, even if today was flat. -
Week 4, Ain'ts v. Bills, GAME BALLS!

I thought he had a nice bounce back 2nd half. Buf his first half was rough. -

Defense is scary porous Allowed Rattler to operate in relative comfort and control the ball way too much Offense just seemed flat yet still put up 30 That late run down the middle by Josh was the back breaker/smelling salts the offense needed -

Chiefs fans have no fear of Lamar...they play them well. They legitimately fear Allen. -

Only real takeaway I have from that meh game is that Deone Walker truly looks like he has the potential to be elite at DT with time. -

VanDerMark was noticable. Noticably bad. Got beat for a sack and then tripped on the Shakir flip that would have been a first down except his man was essentially unblocked on the play. -

Lamar has become a great passer though. But just like the Bills do in big games, start overthinking themselves & calling questionable plays. -

Only thing I hate about kc winning today is having to hear how the cheifs are back -

Would be pretty interesting if the giants want to give him a shot at HC since he spent some time there as a coordinator. They’ve quietly built up a good amount of defensive talent. he’s said he’s still interested in being a head coach but who knows -

Agreed. There are a lot of defensive gurus that need a very specific personnel to have success. I think he fits that Bill. Same probably with McD. -

If Mahomes could hit those deep passes more consistently they'd be legit unstoppable. The scary thing is we know he can hit those. -

Chiefs for sure. Ravens dropping another game will cause someone to get fired and Harbough on the hot seat. That’s real lasting impact that could drastically help us down the stretch. The Chiefs losing a week 4 game is pretty meaningless in the big picture. -

Jackson is only good because he is great at buying time for his WR to get open. Force him to make quick decisions or actually read the defense pre snap, no bueno! -

KC winning this with Chargers losing is bad for the Bills. They have the experience to pull it together. However, even if the Ravens somehow win this game, they have such boom or bust energy that they probably falter a few more times. -

You are a very knowledgeable poster but your hate on Spags is bizarre to me. His defence since 2023 has the lowest PPG and he's coached 4 Super Bowl defences, including holding the greatest offence of all time to 14 points in the Super Bowl. (NE 2007) He is one of the better defensive coordinators to ever coach the game
