Around the League - Week 13 (no Bills stuff in this thread please)

Yes, it's a weird rule. One would think it would be the reverse of that. I've never understood that. -

They did, after commercial. I swear it looked wider than that live. And is that the rule? Inside the OUTSIDE edge of the upright? Isn’t that a straight-up doink if it hits? And why can’t there be appropriate laser/camera tech to leave no doubt? I don’t wish injury on any player, but it’s hard to muster up much sympathy for Al-Shaair. -

It didn't look close -
Previous ownership, also an absentee landlord, simply wouldn't allow a tank.

Keon Coleman likely to return against Pittsburgh
Miyagi-Do Karate replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have no faith in Coleman winning against these physical steeler corners. If he had even like 20 yards, I would be surprised. -
Get ready for yet another "narrative buster" game. I know I get tons of rolling eyes emojis when I post this, so let me explain what I mean. So often, usually even, the thing that is not supposed to happen happens in the NFL. This is NOT because "the league is rigged" or any nonsense like that. It's because every team is full of pros who are the best in the world at what they do, and they have pride and can beat you in any given week. There's also such a small margin between good and bad. Narrative: Both Bills tackles out= Watt is going to feast! Narrative Buster: the OL will protect Allen well. Watt does very little. Narrative: The Bills passing game is a mess. Narrative Buster: The WR will come up huge today. Narrative: The high powered Steelers DL will dominate a banged up Bills OL Narrative Buster: The Bills OL will do a great job and mitigate the DL. Narrative: The Bills run defense is a mess Narrative Buster: The Bills run defense will shut down the Steelers run game The only things you can count on in this game are: Rodgers comes up small in big games Tomlin punts whenever he can

Heck of a play by Carolina -
Apparently if they don’t let him coach in the playoffs he’s taking his whole staff with him

Love how they don’t show a replay, either. -
I think even if bama loses they will get in. The committee doesn’t seem to ding a conference championship loss the same way as a reg season loss and they already beat Georgia

Is this like a strike in baseball? Do the refs have their own idea of a fg? That did not look good -

Apparently Fairbairn gets a couple of feet on either side of the goalposts. Not the first time it’s happened.
