Game week thread - Ravens at Bills SNF

What you said but a Ravens Win. -
So it sounds like we'll be missing CB2, CB3 and K for this one. Not ideal but not the end of the world. Maybe we should all chill? Ravens missing some pieces on offense too.

We tend to play with 3 safetys so there would be another safety for The other TE. -
I like being high up, but I prefer to be between the 40's. I'm last row right on the 40 on the visitors side. I'd prefer to be a bit lower than last row but I like the upper deck. I see more football. Don't get me wrong. The lower bowl has its perks. You feel like you're part of the game. But you watch so much from the scoreboard. For my season tickets I like to be higher. If it's a one-off game I like being low. I was on the field at MetLife and 4th row at the KC playoff game last year and it was great.

Most Bills fans give McDermott and Beane a lot of credit for turning the Bills around. But it is fair to question if McDermott is the coach who can win a championship given all the playoff failures. The same applies to Beane in building a roster good enough to win it all as well. Are you going to be happy if they "Marino/Ewing" Allen's career.
-
We have Josh Allen and play in the AFC East, making the playoffs nearly a guarantee. Any coordinator would have achieved similar results with a team led by Josh Allen. The year after Josh leaves, this will be a three-win team, with or without McDermott.

This country is a ***** hole. But that statement in no way is rooting against America. It is fact. Moron Maga.

I think it has to do with preconceptions. Coming into the league, Lamar was a limited passer. He was very accurate on a limited vocabulary of throws, and teams learned if they took those away they could shut him down. To his credit, Jackson worked his ass off becoming a complete throwing QB and he's now a very complete, very good passing QB, but people still view him through the lens of their preconceptions. There are people who still see Allen through their preconceptions ("couldn't hit the broadside of a barn") as well, of course. The difference is that for several years, the Bills had a mediocre run game, so for the Bills to win, all eyes were on the passing game and it was clear how much Allen had grown as a passer. -
Always wondered if he went AWOL last year during that "personal absence" period and had to be talked out of retiring then.
-
I'm not sure how helpful HFA is, but it seems to help the Bills. Granted, playing the 7th seed also helps, as our home record drops to 2-2 past the WC round. But I guess it's still preferable to the alternate, as we've never won a playoff game on the road yet.

Look at you rooting against America. Loser.
-
Only you would think it's coming back at all. Loser.
-
So everyone is wrong? And your right?
-
3) Art Rooney isn't around to "assist" anymore.
-
Not just overplayed, wildly wrong

Benford is most important of all them. Then Shakir, then Keon, then Tre, then Bass IMO. I'd expect Keon to be full tomorrow. Missing Tre and Bass, creates an interesting p/s decision as I alluded to earlier today. P/S : limited to 2 per week . So Im wondering if we will see a Bass to IR move. To make room for Prater- as I'd expect Zion and Dane to be called up too. -
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2024/passing_advanced.htm On Target % 3) Joe Burrow 9) Lamar Jackson 15) Patrick Mahomes 22) Josh Allen Bad Throw % (higher rank is good) 4) Joe Burrow 16) Lamar Jackson 18) Patrick Mahomes 31) Josh Allen Avg Depth of Target 8 - Lamar Jackson 13) Josh Allen 27) Joe Burrow 34) Patrick Mahomes Completed Air Yards per Cmp 7) Lamar Jackson 17) Joe Burrow 19) Josh Allen 35) Patrick Mahomes https://sumersports.com/players/quarterback/ Pass EPA 1) Lamar Jackson 3) Josh Allen 5) Joe Burrow 8 - Patrick Mahomes Success Rate 4) Lamar Jackson 5) Joe Burrow 6) Josh Allen 9) Patrick Mahomes There's a very easy arguement to be made - both metrics and eye test - that Lamar Jackson is the best passer alive Like do you know what kind of unicorn you have to be to both highly ranked in depth of target AND % accurate balls?

I have said this a million times, but both Beane and McD can't be elite, with Josh, and not have done more. The perception by many here are all three are elite. I just don't see that as possibility. I have blamed McD for a lot, but have leaned more into Beane and the roster construction the last year or so. I don't particularly think rebuild #2 has gone very well.
-
Pretty much describes his entire career.
-
I think this is where Lamar is probably judged a bit too critically. I think that because he is such a good runner, people have higher expectations as a passer in order to "feel" like LJ is a "Complete QB". The "Lamar is a bad passer/RB playing QB" trope is way too overplayed.
-
He's been moody/temperamental his whole career, despite playing with decent teams and QBs. Like any job, if your heart isn't into it, it's bye bye time.
-
No I can't but I unlike most of you haters I will ride with the guy that gives me the best chance year after year instead of gambling on a different HC that will put us in the drink again like Jacksonville has done . As far as McD being a D coach yes but he allows those he has put in those positions to coach those players the freedom to do their job and he himself will take the blunt of it for their failures . I just get sick and tired of all the whining and crying a lot of Bills fans are like the wife that you can never please no matter what you buy her she always wants more . It's like for christ sake enjoy what we got quit your complaining, every year it's the same thing every body else in the NFL notices that McD is one of the best HC's in the league but our fans alls they want to do is criticize no matter how good the team does . Maybe it will sink in a bit more next year when some of ya'll walk into the Brand New Stadium that Mcd& Company helped the Bills get ... But I doubt it .

He could have also got to camp; realized he didn’t have the skills anymore, and decide to retire again.

PSA - there was a separate thread created for exchanges with our troll friend - please don't feed him in this thread
