yea, it’s the concern with this roster. but the Steelers didn’t take it away. So it’s hard to blame the bills for going with what works did you expect them to force feed Gabe and Keon in the 4th just to see?
-
Really doubt it was intentional. Never heard of anything like that before. Heyward needs to get over himself.

Beane needs his credit for oline depth ...

We’ll all assume this is sarcasm -
Did anyone else see the switch flip with Josh Allen?

Like the defenders aren’t taking every opportunity to physically remind QBs that they’re QBs. Allen is just the one QB who likes to physically remind defenders he’s built differently than the other 31 QBs. Cry harder fatso.

They both are RFAs. Will need to use a minimum of 2nd round tenders, I think. -
So you won't be able to watch for a month or two?

James Cook was our leading reciever with 33 yards. That disgusting! ***** Beane, he needs to go. No chance of a pass game with them back up tackles not to mention the ***** WR they have. -
Around the League - Week 13 (no Bills stuff in this thread please)

Sooo...a Broncos loss and a Pats loss on MNF and the possibility of a #1 seed moves from "delusional" to just "unlikely". -
Week 13, Bills v. Squeelers, GAME BALLS!
Aesop replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Entire defense, O-Line and the coaches (amazing job in the run game on offense and defense). -

It’s noticeable. He mentioned early in his career that he likes to get a run in early in the game so he gets hit. -
I’ve been hammering Brady for weeks and still want him fired but I have to give him credit when it’s due - this game plan made sense. He ran the sht out of the ball and didn’t get away from it, he chipped both DEs almost every pass play, he threw to the RBs and TEs, he got rid of the mesh crap that he spams constantly. That was a reasonable, understandable game plan given how many injuries we had on offense. It was good to see, James Cook should be in contention for OPOY but he’s got Taylor ahead of him. It is a pleasure to watch this guy run, he’s sooooo smooth. At least Beane made one good re signing. Josh was much more decisive today in both running and throwing. I LOVED the jawing with Heyward, Josh needs to get the fire back. The pick to Gabe sucked, shocker. But I didn’t see the hesitation he’s had the last 4-5 games. Good to see. Don’t downplay this win. The Bills might have found their mojo. They out bullied the Steelers IN PITTSBURGH, humiliated their defense and ran the ball down their throats with 2 BACKUP tackles. This needs to be their MO moving forward with some intermediate and deep passing added. I understand why they didn’t do that today. Crushing Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh is a big deal. Now beat the hell out of Burrow because we owe Cinci a lot after they’ve owned us for years.

My take on the trade when it was made was that it would be a lose-lose. The Colts gave up too much and weren't really ready to go all-in, particularly with a less than absolute stud at QB. They're going to be stuck with Jones and the league is figuring out how to stop Jones' game -- even now that he's on a professional franchise for once. The Jets have a terrible track record drafting and it's unlikely the two players they draft will include even one remotely as good as Gardner.

Did anyone else see the switch flip with Josh Allen?
Tim Tindale replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Michael Jordan and Tom Brady figured out a way to turn everything into a character assassination, especially later in their careers when they had already accomplished so much. It would have made sense for the competitive fire to start dimming, but they invented new ways to be “questioned and short-changed” (“And I took that personally…”). Josh needs the a-hole in him to come out more, especially as he ages. Cyborg Josh is unstoppable. -
according to Heyward after the game, Allen "intentionally" knee-ed on his stomach on an earlier play and he got no protection "like a quarterback." He went off on Allen every chance he got after that. Allen didn't back down of course. I thought Allen/Heyward exchange this game might be what turned the game around from emotional standpoint for the Bills.

My son & I have noticed this for years. If Josh starts the game slow or looks nervous, he usually plays much better after he has taken a hard shot from the defense. In his younger days, we always thought it best to call a running play for Josh on our first drive. -

His emotions are all over the place during games, and McDermott knows that, hence the emphasis on not getting too high or low, a mantra Allen repeats a lot. Not a bad strategy, but he plays his best when he's angry.
