  1. Past hour
  2. We don't agree a ton but we are in lock step on this. If I had come to the NFL 4 or 5 years later than I did when it started to have its 00s growth in the UK and I didn't have a reason to root for a team I'd be a Saints fan because of Drew Brees.
  3. Tater Tots scene is great as well!
  4. Energy independence is the insurance policy against blackmail, as happened in Carter's 70's with the emerging belligerence of OPEC. These days, we buy energy and sell energy in the open market using simple business decisions. The backdrop is that we go go it alone, so we can't be as impacted by threats. The problem with the middle east is that the hatreds there have the ability to lead to regional conflagration, and that would be immensely impactful. That's why this is such a once in a lifetime opportunity. Imagine no Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis and Syria not launching weapons into civilian areas of Israel. Imagine Israel able to peacefully coexist with Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon Iran, Saudi Arabia and others. Advanced commerce without constant threat and disruption. All of these assets wasted on trying to kill each other spent my responsible govs on advancing their people.
  5. I am actually an iceberg fan. I never understood the foodie hate for it. Sometimes a cold/crisp/taste-free vehicle for for dressing and various accoutrements is perfect. Don't hate on iceberg. Hate on curly frisee.
  6. I like to imagine if I had Josh. I also like to imagine if I had Hailee.
  7. He could either be a part time realtor right now or a HOF QB with hundreds of millions of dollars at 46. Seems like a very good trade. Where can I sign up?
  8. Before there was “Action Jackson”, MarShawn Lynch gave Fred Jackson the nickname “Head”
  9. Post this on the Ravens Site - it will probably shut down!
  10. Sad news for sure. A left handed Brees would still be the Bills 3rd best QB all time. Probably my favorite non Bills QB of all time.
  11. The vibes in Miami are so bad though. GM and HC are dead men walking and it feels like half the org knows it. Tyreek and Jalen Ramsey actively want out. I feel like if they start off 1-2 or 2–3, they will fall apart completely.
  12. I like to imagine if Moulds had Josh . . . .
  13. I let it slide upon the initial posting but then you had to go off on iceberg. Brought it on yourself at that point.
  14. I accidentally did it the opposite way (sat on my you know what) and it felt like I was doing it to someone else 😔
  15. Going to get flamed for this but part of me cant figure out if Stevie was ever really a number 1 talent, or just an ok talent disguised as a #1 on bad teams. There is no doubt he was fun to watch, but even in his best years here he had average hands and wasnt explosive by any means. He got open because he and Fitz were playing backyard football, but outside of his time with FItz, he was underwhelming. Sadly, he had one shot with a great quarterback but was hurt for half of the year with the Chargers.
  16. I bought my house in 2003, it crashed out in 2008, and has gone up since. I am up almost 3 times since I bought and 4 times since the crash. The best thing right now is FL taxes property tax increases are severely limited so my entire payment to the government for income and property taxes combined is $2k a year Because I still the basically the lowest value of home rate.
  17. President Trump and MAGA coming out of this conflict stronger than ever!
  18. Imagine saying you stand with Iran. They would chop these people's heads off if they stepped foot in their country. Especially the he she's. Are people really this stupid?
  19. So... would he take the vet minimum?
  20. I've asked myself that question many times. It just got to be a really popular "lifestyle" destination in the 2010s. Lots of newcomers (I've been about 25 years) with the pace increasing straight up thru COVID. Along with the influx of young/educated people came businesses relocating here. The same phenomenon as Austin, and now SLC. It is somewhat self-correcting though. Denver clearly now has a rep as a high cost of living location and we're seeing net out-migration. Watch out Orlando, it's coming for you! If you're a homeowner and don't need to move, you'll be cashing in someday ...
  21. He could always try to rub the $275 million dollars he made on it. Even if it doesnt reduce the shoulder pain he will still be in a room with $275 million dollars.
  22. I can't believe what the cost of a home is in Denver, I looked primarily at boulder area, but it is crazy to me. I get that y'all are more land locked due to the mountain but Denver is not a NYC, why is cost so high?
  23. With a little cross-brain training you might get some strange. 😀
  24. Stevie could just audible mid-route and go wherever he wanted because there was no real consequence to not being where the play call was designed to be. Those teams punted and turned the ball over so much that the standard was extremely low. Defenders are trained to anticipate routes based on where receivers SHOULD be. That's why Revis gave up numbers to Stevie. He was very often not where the play was supposed to take him. Those were bad Bills teams. In 2011 Stevie could rank 19th in yardage but 56th in ypc, 92nd in success rate and 135th in catch % because expectations for the offense were VERY low. Fitz lead the NFL in interceptions over that 3 year stretch. A lot of those were on Stevie. PFR didn't track the WR passer rating and INT stats they now have when receivers were targeted then but he was a highly inefficient WR. If Stevie did that with Josh Allen, especially early in his career, it would have been a disaster. Took a while for Allen to even risk throwing with anticipation and that took time to build up trust that he had guys that would be where they were supposed to be. I mean we thought Gabe Davis was bad at being where he was supposed to be. Stevie was a$$ at that. And obviously, it didn't work when he went elsewhere.
