  1. Past hour
  2. Yes that was an ugly miss. But Prater shook it off. A miss like that and Bass is in a 3 week funk. A kicker is a lot like a golfer. Need perfect mechanics without thinking. But for as long as I've golfed and practiced my swing, every once and a while I shank one off the tee. It happens. The key is Prater is a vet, stayed calm and nailed the rest of his attempts. Plus he will have all the practice and game reps with Johnston as the holder. Let's not shake something up if it's working.
  3. Except it’s not 3 games, it’s 9 years.
  4. Yup. He’s never going to be an instant win DE. Or splash dynamic pass rusher. They paid him a mid contract bc he’s a piece of THIS defense that mcbabich want to run - hold the edge. Stop run. Collapse pocket
  5. Maybe he's declined to be nominated. Letting one of his other teammates get some exposure.
  6. I can't recall the last time we only had 3 possessions in a half. That was wild.
  7. That's a good point. If you told me that we'd held Tua to that kind of yardage I would have assumed a slaughter And pressure was there, it just seemed that Tua had uncharacteristic pocket mobility and accuracy under pressure tonight
  8. Logically, the people saying they don't exist are either uninformed simpletons or sack of crap liars.
  9. Because any rational person isn’t going to scream from the rooftops after 3 games… it’s really not that difficult, man. Are you willing to come on here and say Daniel Jones is the best QB in the league if he comes out and posts a similar performance to his first two weeks this season? I understand it’s in your nature, and the nature of most human beings to be overwhelming negative and jump conclusions. But holy *****, is it not exhausting for you?
  10. The Lamar stuff at the end was my favorite
  11. I understand what you're saying but to the bolded, no. Allen's height, length, wingspan, his vision and ability to make flip throws and adjust his arm angle and throw wrist darts... I know people are frustrated that Josh is checking down so much but no one can dink and dunk like he can... certainly not any schmuck QB.
  12. It's one of those crazy NFL stats that Chiefs have never beaten Giants in NY
  13. Two of those teams we played against are going to win fewer than 5 games this year. I hope they can drop 41 a few times in the playoffs.
  14. We’re always down two starters. Really we are down one starter. When was the last time that we could rely upon Milano being a starter? He should’ve been replaced this year and left as a back up.
  15. Yes to a certain extent that's true. But it's all relative. If it's 2019 and the bills are trying to make the playoffs, then ya this is not a concern. But expectations have changed. The conversation isn't "do the bills have a passing game problem compared to a mediocre/average team". It's relative to the best teams in the league at this point
  16. Meh I would hold off on any real criticism until this team stops scoring points and dominating TOP I believe alot of this is to control the game and keep some things under wraps until later in the season...at least I hope so. I don't like the give up plays short of the sticks on 3rd downs as much as anyone, but this team's philosophy is play mistake free and make the other team beat you instead of you beating yourself, and it's been very successful. Hopefully, they use the conservative style to their advantage later in the season when teams start expecting it
  17. Coverage Sack Rousseau has never been a difference maker. He is an average to above-average D-end in this league. I personally didn't think he was worth re-signing to a second contract but I understand that Beane didn't want to create another hole on the defense and there is probably a moderate step down going from Rousseau to Epenesa He's never going to be a guy that takes over games or makes a big impact. He is a decent edge setter that will occasionally get pressure on the QB but will be largely invisible for stretches of games
  18. Tua moved as well as I’ve ever seen him and kept plays alive. I don’t care how good your pass coverage is on the back seven, you are not gonna be able cover everyone for that long. Especially a group of WRs as good as Miami’s. Full credit to Tua.
  19. A W is a W. I don’t care how it looks. I thought we should blow them out, figured we wouldn’t on a short week facing a desperate team. Our DT’s got blown up by a dollar store offensive line which was the main issue giving up so many 3rd down completions. Josh played exactly as he should have. Miami started off in a 3-3-5 and we blew the doors off them in the first half. They switched to a Cover 2 soft zone shell, that’s why Josh kept taking the short stuff, because it was the right read and it was there. Younger Josh would have forced those throws into coverage and gotten picked. So Josh plays efficient small ball and all he has to worry about is a bunch of TBD posters complaining about the lack of deep shots. Tre looked bad but no one can cover Waddle/Hill that long when there is no pass rush. Does Gregg Rousseau still play for this team? Talk about a disappearing act. Overall, a hard fought well earned W against a desperate division foe. Who cares how it looks. We are on to New Orleans
  20. The only pressure the other team has felt is from Bosa and the interior line, don’t know what you are watching.
  21. This seemingly has been a big part of their ( unsuccessful come the playoffs) strategy for years now i thought you would want your best player on the field as much as possible …instead of maximising his time sitting on the sideline waiting for the opposition to make a mistake .. We know he has made some errors …but I assume he is trying to acquire players to match the skill sets and physical requirements his coaches want to run their schemes…
  22. People seem to be in denial about how close they were to losing that game. And they also seem to not particularly care that we haven't made any adjustments to the defense in years despite consistently having the same issues, or that that the coaching staff's offensive gameplan is centered around taking the ball out of our best player's hands. Hey, but you're supposed to enjoy the ride and just pretend it's bad luck when they lose in the playoffs yet again after the same fatal flaws creep up.
  23. Yeah. We don't want Josh playing the style that helped win him an MVP last year...we want to see "arm punt" Josh throw the ball carelessly down the field into triple coverage and turn the ball over. It's way more fun.
  24. Yea I saw McD on the sideline saying into the mic "hey Brady, call the 2 yard pass play please" repeatedly last night. So annoying.
