Non-intervention would be wonderful if workable. Another agreement is sensible if there is both carrot and stick to contend with, and an appropriately heavy hand were to come down at the first sign of non-compliance. Instead, it seems in the past we've got warnings and concerns but precious little else. I guess my question for you--as a non-interventionist, why do you support intervening via low-key revolution and king-making for the Iranian people? Why would the current Iranian leadership stand by and accept that approach, any more than they are accepting the direct assault by Israel now? Why not let the Iranian people see it through as they see fit?

hmm...where to start?

Keon drops 60 in Damar's celebrity basktball gam
Augie replied to stevewin's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m not on there, but I watched it. I send IG stuff to people not on it, and tell them they just have to click on the X. You can watch it, but I don’t care much about what Carmelo Anthony has to say about team sports. Keon seems to get it, but time will tell how much actual progress he’s made in his game on the field. I’m optimistic, as usual. -
Of greater interest to most of us, how is your spleen?

As you and promo pointed out, AI says the Bills will be on nationally at least 9 games, Im in the AFC central market so I wont get as many as promo. But it shows the ridiculousness of the pricing. 375 bucks for the other 8 Bills games, is 46.87 for each of the other 8 Bills games. I love football, I'll watch the three games on Sunday, the Monday nighter and Thursday. I dont give a crap that you get every game, I cant watch them all. I dont care if the Jets are playing Carolina or the Giants are playing Seattle, etc. It would be like buying a new car and having to pay for a bunch of options you dont want. I also hate when companies treat their existing customers worse than new customers. Heck even the phone companies have been moving away from that. I just retired, Im so glad teachers and professors who probably make more than me will be paying less. Im truly torn, but Im leaning without any discount I'll record the Bills replay when it comes on NFL network during the week. At this point it's a matter of principle at balking at the 375 price.

Not my business to tell people what to think, but with the Israeli action and how this is playing out, we are WAY better off than we were a few weeks ago. Cheer up. Imagine no sponsor of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis. Imagine Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Saudi Arabia able to coexist peacefully with Iran and Israel. It is all possible. Best two weeks in a very long time.

Not that I really want to know but there's at least 3 different liquids I can imagine that you're talking about. Just an observation... If you're saying that Elway was more of a sellout and that's why Kelly is more revered, I think you have to take into account other factors too. Kelly married a local girl. Kelly publicly fought for his son's life. Kelly is a cancer survivor whose fight played out in public. Those are all reasons why Kelly's revered around here. Whether you agree or not, Elway won 2 Super Bowls, was arguably more photogenic than Kelly, and a better speaker, and thus had more opportunities as a pitch man.

No. I didn’t play football into my late 20’s. Now, if you’d asked if I’d competed in a judo tournament two weeks out from a soft tissue injury to my back the answer would have been yes. To get back to my initial point… All combat sports - of which football is one - damage the body over time. Everyone’s physiology is unique, but there comes a point when the traumas don’t heal as fast, and they start stacking up. For most people that happens around thirty; sometimes it’s 28, and sometimes it’s 34, but it happens to us all. It’s definitely not a straight comparison. In my case it was a necessity, and I had the best possible outcome…. Pain free for about a decade afterwards, no complications, and to this day that injury just throbs when the weather shifts. That’s the exception and not the rule though.

My side is that it’s best for the federal government to own these lands and preserve them in their natural state for the enjoyment of all citizens, as opposed to selling it to random corporations or nameless entities for development and exploitation. Lee’s plan is stupid and is akin to Esau selling his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of food.

I watched it last night while falling asleep but I think Keon said he was playing well at the time of his injury but after the injury, the Bills changed up some things on the offense that started working well. He felt that when he returned, he never really synced up with some of the new things they were doing. Others might be able to add a bit more. -
Why is Mike Lee obsessed with selling off federal land

I don’t have a side, as I’m not really sure what your premise is… Is it that private ownership is somehow Marxist? -
You still operate under the belief that kids under 18 are lining up for surgeries like they’re orthodontics. You’ve invented a strawman to justify your hatred towards trans people. https://hsph.harvard.edu/news/gender-affirming-surgeries-rarely-performed-on-transgender-youth/ https://www.hrc.org/resources/get-the-facts-on-gender-affirming-care The “horrific outcomes” for those who get surgery are a direct result of YOUR actions and YOUR beliefs, not theirs. It’s on YOU.
