Elam seems very much the same type as Diggs’ brother in Dallas. Will get a good amount of penalties, give up some big plays, but then will get the highlight reel pick six.

Going into year 3 of Josh Allen, Joe B wrote a piece in July of 2020 about how the Bills will consider moving on from Josh Allen if he continues to play like he was. I respect Joe Bs opinion. But he ain’t batting 1.000

Yeah, this is the thing. Cook isn't just wanting a contract (at $15M APY) that out kicks the coverage of the value he's demonstrated so far. He wants it after his third year. Guys who sign contracts at that time are usually giving a discount in consideration of the team's willingness to give them the money earlier, a practice that works in the player's favor, in terms of injury insurance, the earlier chance to put the money to work earning more money and the simple peace of mind that comes with a surer future. But I don't see anything here that looks like it's coming from Cook's camp. Looks to me like a cold neutral look at the situation, with all sentiment removed and from a purely financial view. The Bills players who this offseason signed deals after their third years got solid and fair contracts, but they knew signing early meant they'd have to sign team-friendly deals. That is very much NOT the way Cook is playing this.

ESPN acquiring the NFL Network and the NFL Redzone
rusty shackleford replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Hansen does a pretty good job too. When my wife saw the this news tonight, this first thing she said is I hope they don’t replace that guy on the red zone… and she’s just a casual fan. -
in a bit of a surprise I read the person who took the now super viral Kiss cam video has earned Nothing except views, Not a dime. Really? ESPN acquiring the NFL Network and the NFL Redzone
Doc Brown replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think he does a decent job but I'm in the majority. They said the deal will take around nine months to approve assuming they finalize the deal. My guess is all will be the same at least for this season. - Today

Let's see how he does when refs start throwing flags. He CANNOT defend without holding.

Beane is good at drafting after all -- A look at 2022
Victory Formation replied to boater's topic in The Stadium Wall
Now what all of you said may be true, all Beane has to do is win us ONE Super Bowl and he’s better than Polian. -

Beane is good at drafting after all -- A look at 2022
Mikie2times replied to boater's topic in The Stadium Wall
He went to 5 Super Bowls, won one, acquired over half a dozen hall of famers across three teams, including two hall of fame QB’s, took three separate teams to conference championships including a start up franchise. We compare different era all the time. Its not close, not remotely close. At this time Beane has selected one likely hall fame player. The impact of his roster as far as the weight Allen brings to is significant and you credit him for the move, but his full resume just isn’t near Polian. Not in any measurable way from talent acquisition to results. Maybe one day, but today isn’t that day. -
Is there anything you learned in school you still apply in daily life?
muppy replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
I took the OP very literally. YES I still apply things I learned in school to my daily life. 1. Be on Time 2. Wait your turn 3. I still put on my listening ears and thinking cap. don't you? 4. RESPECT AUTHORITY 5. Be nice to bus drivers 6. Don' Cheat. and finally 7. do your homework! -
"They should just give Cook a decent offer ..." What makes you think they didn't? Is any deal Cook refuses therefore to be considered not fair? Is only a total cave to the player's demands fair? That's not the way a team should think or operate. And yeah, I do remember all the mediocre backs since Thurman we've trotted out with no playoff appearances. Devin Singletary, for instance. Zack Moss. Oh, wait.

It's almost impossible to really compare with the 12 round drafts, little free agency, and no cap of the old days. -
My first favorite season is summer. It hasn't always been the case. It used to be Autumn- Fall- FOOTBALL SEASON - Indian Summer. All of that. But where I live Autumn kind of blends into winter with not much in the change of colors like you get in NY Summer in socal is sun and fun and Pool season. Backyard swim parties with potlucks and watching kids swim in my pool it's a great season. I Love it but football season is coming and Im stoked not gonna lie 🙂
