I'm not so bright sometimes but even I can understand the thought process. QB says HUT, offensive linemen fire, center waits to snap the ball juuuuust long enough so no penalty but defense is slowed that fraction of a second needed for the offense to get the leverage and that is all the tush push is, leverage. If the play remains next year, every center will know how to exploit the refereeing. It may even happen this season.
