Network pricing to watch all NFL games in 2025
Draconator replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
My TV App gets all NFL games for $47 a month, all legal. (Plus all MLB, NBA, NHL, ESPN+, and over 600 local stations across the US. Even BBC from England and other English Stations). -
Man. After 8 years, the pass rush is never good enough to win a Superbowl and the receiving options aren't good enough to win a Superbowl. Brutal.

I'm on the same page. For those of us outside the Buffalo market, anything is better than the local stuff in most cases. I listen to Schopp and the Bulldog on my drive home. Some folks don't like them, but for me it's something. But I gotta say, they have the best gig in the world. They would go several weeks at a time where neither would work a full 5 days. One of them would be off at least one day a week. It doesn't bother me they take days off. What bothers me is they don't get a fill-in. One of them would do the show solo and just babble for 20 minutes at a pop. That's the worst radio content you can do. You need the back and forth, or at least do a bunch of callers. Their 4-hour show 5-days / week is really a 3 1/2 hour show 4 days / week. Their last half hour is always replayed content from earlier in the show.

So you just buy the Sunday ticket but don't have Youtube TV? I tried last year and was told that I had to have YTTV to get the ticket. I will double check, that would be great. -

A restaurant has competition and must cater to its customers to make money. The NFL has no competition and takes advantage of that fact by maximizing profits with less than zero regard for its customer's wants or needs. I've recently lost any qualms I may have once had about honesty and fair play when it comes to the NFL. If you want to consider me a thief for "stealing" from unethical robber barons, so be it.

Um yeah it is. That’s the route I do it. -
why don't they show the medicine cabinet?

Bills games you’ve never rewatched
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Bills!Win!'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I was there for one of the worst drubbings the Bills endured on the road during the drought, that shellacking we got in Foxboro when Losman got cheap shotted by Wilfork and Trent Edwards came in. Although it is covered by the "Brady losses" line, that was the worst one after McKelvin's gaffe. Being there made it 1,000 times worse. -
Competition in preseason doesn't make Rapp/Bishop/Hamlin better on game day. It just weeds out the low end for cuts.

Strained the calf muscle getting off the ladder while repainting the guest room. Should have paid a professional house painter, instead of trying to save a buck. 🤨
-
I rewatch all wins and never watch losses. not a bad sport, it just hurts too much.

Jeremy is the most informed host, and it’s not even close. I like his podcasts with Marino and Ostroski. I like Jeremy

I loved living in Connecticut, but having to endure the slop they have for sports radio and TV in that market sucks. Thank God for access to other means of sports talk and info.
-
Yep - same here in CT. I like the morning crew but everything after noon sucks: Hockey 12-1, tasker, brown, Maddy, etc I can't listen too. Marino's podcast is really good

It took me nearly a week to go back and just watch highlights of the AFCCG from this year, and I skip past any KC highlights. I was kickin' rocks for a while after that one. Really believed they were gonna pull it off at the end there. To me, that one has been the worst playoff loss they've had in the Allen Era. I don't think I've ever rewatched a full game, I'll just scroll thru highlights. It's still fun to scroll thru the Denver and Baltimore games. When they win a Super Bowl, I'll probably rewatch that one and go thru the highlights everyday for like a month straight afterwards.

Between the two dodos Gary and Randy doing Sportscenter AM, Stephen A., Pat McAfee, Orlovsky and Booger, ESPN has fatally jumped the shark. I find myself going to the internet and just reading rather than watch ESPN's harakiri lineup.

I will never understand people advocating illegal streams. For some reason, it being media makes it pallatable for people to say things like like this. But most of us would never say “oh that restaurant meal was expensive - but there are ways to skip out the door before paying without the waitress knowing”. Why not just straight up say “i’m a thief”? -
Latest Wande Owens (UDFA) Hype
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah have to agree. No one from Hamlin, lewis, forest, or hancock is really a lock in the safety room. There's also no major cap ramifications cutting anyone for a UDFA, since the UDFA salary is so low. Also - the 4th safety? He's a special teamer... so that goes into the evaluation as well. -
Doubt he ever goes back to California. He'll be back in Florida next (and I assume he already has another house down there)

I am pretty sure that is not true. -
I, I will be king And you, you will be queen Though nothing will drive them away We can beat them, just for one day We can be heroes, just for one day And you, you can be mean And I, I'll drink all the time 'Cause we're lovers, and that is a fact Yes we're lovers, and that is that Though nothing will keep us together We could steal time just for one day We can be heroes for ever and ever What d'you say?

Bills selected Cody Ford with 39th pick. He didn’t fit our scheme or culture, so no use to us. AJ Brown went 51 and DK Metcalf went 64. Bills have been whiffing on many excellent WR draft opportunities since McDermott/Beane TSW sages were pounding the table for AJ Brown or DK Metcalf, and outraged when we didn’t select or trade up for either one. The receipts are here. Search back to 2019 draft and marvel at TSW sages recognizing that our draft board was 1 AJ, 2 DJ, clearly above any other player. It was obvious!
