  1. Past hour
  2. It matters in that our best chances to win a SB are with the good QBs out of the playoffs since McDefense can't stop them in the playoffs. Seems like that's the point youre trying to make? We have to hope for the good Offenses to not be good on their own, or not make the playoffs at all, otherwise there is no shot our Defense stops them.
  3. That’s exactly what I saw. Josh is throwing as Shakir is blocking his view of the DB. Warner stopped the tape 3 times when this happened and he kept saying he wasn’t sure what Josh saw. I think it was what Josh didn’t see, the guy behind Shakir.
  4. If he's keeping Dane Jackson off the field I'm fine with it.
  5. They wouldn’t be moving Harmon. So Metcalf is the only guy. I don’t think he’s worth the contract, but sometimes you can’t get everything you want. I doubt he’s gotten worse as a WR. Arthur Smith is his OC and his QB is washed.
  6. I'm not talking about the playoffs. I'm talking about winning the division. They aren't going to drop 3 games with their crap schedule. Thats assuming we even win out. As I said, on paper it could happen. Realistically, likely not. The division leader is currently 6-6. They play the Ravens again which they are 1-0 with and the Steelers they are 1-1 with and both those teams play each other. Its completely feasible for them to win the division if they win out.
  7. I will point out that I live among a large number of legal immigrants, many of who are going through the process of citizenship, and I don't have these issues in my area, basically ever. It is almost as if people who come here illegally are willing to break more laws once they get here
  8. Well I guarantee the bills are going to run the same 3 running plays and try and play it safe with ground and pound. Especially w WR 1 and TE 1 not evening being able to complete a walk through fully. Still. I’m getting to the point where there’s no hope for a gameplan coming from McBrady to throw it / air raid …… McD wants to minimize his “hurt D” …. Just feeels like the same script over and over again. But worse
  9. NE had just about 400 yards of offense on them but getting stopped on the goal line that 90 yard drive kinda tipped the points scale a bit. I think it was one of their highest yardage totals of the year Baltimore is a weird team I don’t think they’re good in the trenches on either side of the ball
  10. Gale Gilbert?!?!? Stan Humphries sure wasn't a great quarterback. He did have a solid year in 1994 when the Chargers made the Super Bowl and got smashed by Steve Young and the Niners.
  11. The amount of effort to defend the narco terrorists by some people here is astounding to me. The fact that not one of you had any issues when Obama was killing terrorists over in the Middle East while having collateral damage but this is where you draw the line tells me that your TDS is out of control.
  12. This is the one. It's not as crazy as it sounds either. If we cut Samuel and Knox, and restructure Allen and Brown, that alone gives us about $50M in cap space to work with next year and that's just doing the bare minimum cap manipulation. You would definitely want to make Pittsburgh keep some of the salary as part of the trade if at all possible but either way we can fit him or any other available WR of our choosing into the cap next year.
  13. Yea it sounds like the eagles would have liked a reunion. They added Alexander a few weeks ago and that didn’t work out. Slay was pretty damn good in Philly. if nothing else he can give some insight into little things the eagles do on defense in a few weeks.
  14. Not me. I thought and think that Pitts was their typical mediocre team. I said early in the season that Rodgers is washed. They have a couple stars and thats about it. Personally, I don't think the Bills should have struggled as much as they did. As for the Bengals, they have a legit path to taking the division, as sick as that sounds its 100% true. They are going to play hard. Lamar sucked that game but some of it was caused by the Bengals D. I don't think their D is great or anything but they do have the ability to cause a bad play at the wrong time. Their offense is still elite and Burrow will have another week of practice. Higgins will probably be back as well. This is not a team that the offense can take a half of football to figure it out. Its not a team we want to play a close game with. We need to strike hard from the get go. When I say that, I dont mean they need to chuck bombs all over the field. I just mean that they need to score TDs by any means necessary. Whatever works, IDGAF. Just win the game.
  15. We’ve already recouped Jordan Hancock in this grade, and still have a 7th next year.
  16. You think the Bengals would make the playoffs at 9 and 8? I don't think so. A win here does not salvage their season IMO, they are done.
  17. he is already on the active roster
  18. We all saw how Thompson improved our D when he played. The main argument is Thompson being bigger, maybe healthier. But Cover 1's Erik Turner brought up a good point. Maybe Thompson is better at recognizing all those eye candies/motions etc. and setting the players to the right places than Bernard. Recency may have bias, but I remeber we had a lot of defensive plays this season when a bunch of players were totally fooled or out of positions. Since the 2nd half of Houston game, it came down to almost zero. I don't recall once in the Steelers game we had a breakdown.
  19. so let me get this straight. He has been out with a hamstring. Hasn’t played. Hasn’t really practiced. And somehow with today’s walkthrough he has a knee AND hamstring listed. What is with the injury reports! This year has been very weird and suspicious. I love Sal trying to explain it away with nonsense
  20. Yeah, and I don't prefer that.
  21. "I hate NE with the passion of McDemott calling defensive time outs. I hate watched them for last last 5 years when they sucked because I love watching them lose. They have the biggest bandwagon fan base in sports. I’ve said numerous times there has been ZERO talk of the Pats* in NE the last 4-5 years. Pure Bandwagon." This deserves 17 likes
  22. Believe it or not, I think the Bills are 3rd in returning/boomerang players. The Rams have more than us and I can’t remember the other team.
