Switch to the Sabres. No anxiety about maybe winning. -

They allowed 261 yards of offense and 3 points in the 2nd half when a turnover already put them in FG range. Think you are not being realistic. That game was on the offense...they got chance after chance after chance in the 2nd half and kept squandering them. -

And that leads to another coaching issue: who decided that Brown stay in the game after he got banged up? It was clear he could not do the job yet the Bills wasted two series with him out there. Other then QB every other player on the field needs to be subbed out when they get banged up and their performance drops below an acceptable level. Sure, Brown would never take himself out but the coaches have to step in. -

I think it feels less enjoyable recently for a few reasons: - The talent on the roster seems middling and getting worse. We have a lot of decently sized contracts going to pretty mediocre talents. For this reason, it feels like we're on a bit of a downswing at the moment. It should have really happened last season, but somehow we were one drive away from the SB instead. - Play calling has been bad since Dorsey took over. Even Daboll had his warts. I watch other teams and QBs have some fairly easy completions pretty much every drive. Whether it's a rub route where the guy is wide open, or a WR sits in a zone for a comfortable 15 yard pass. Every play in our offense feels like a struggle, even in the games we play well. - Situational coaching in crunch time is just bad, and probably won't ever get better. So the realization kind of dawns on you, that for the Bills to win a Super Bowl they need a heaping dose of luck and for Allen to go supernova for 4 games. It's possible, but not very likely. -
A Few Thoughts about the Texans Game - Community Edition
Preds replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh's backyard play is a direct result of the moron calling the plays and handicapping the offense from the start with weak predictable game plans and no creativity. Not to mention the iio HC who wants the superstar QB to be no more than a game manager to protect his crappy defense. Josh is severely handicapped by the coaching staff as well as the GM who gives McClappy the players he wants on defense and does NOTHING to surround his future HOF QB with talent at WR that can actually play WR in the NFL and get separation. This team is flawed on so many levels, but Josh is NOT the problem. The entire Front Office and Coaching Staff needs to go. Period. -

All losses this year - Patriots, Falcons, Dolphins, and Texans, have been on the offense. The defense didn’t play well in stretches, but did keep the team in games and gave them multiple chances to win. The offense continues to come up small. -

This off season is massive cuz yes now I am 100% certain it has to be pro Josh Allen No more signing defensive rotational players... Get Josh some speed and route running ability But Just like the Giants back in the day I don't think this season is over with... I always said the first Super bowl for the Buffalo Bills franchise will probably be as crazily spectacular as their history If that means running it from the wild card I can believe it -

We have the best QB in football. It's getting tiresome to hear how hard it is to succeed against other teams with good players. -

Just not enough play makers on offence, the lack of speed is a big reason why Allen has to hold on the ball so long and tonight he got beat up for it No question, only way we can beat anyone is to get up 2-3 scores and then force the other team in one dimensional football. We're not winning close games or if were not scoring at least 30 plus points -
I put my vote in.

Who’s this Bosa guy?

At this point I would rather they wait until the season is over. Less chance of some other lame duck getting promoted on the team and staying on next year just because he got some wins toward the end of the season. More chance they actually look for a real coordinator this time.

Division is out at this point…have to do it as a wildcard
ChrisWatson#21 replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
It makes no difference anyways. Home or away they have consistently been eliminated six straight seasons. The positives are that the schedule should be easier and New England will have to play more division winners next year. That will be fun. -

I agree but if the D can not rise to the occasion and you must have exceptional offensive performances every week regardless of the game site or opponent then the Bills need to build a roster like Cincinnati where they go all in on offense at the expense of the D. And before people say that the Bengals will miss the playoffs 3 straight years that was mostly because of Burrow's injuries and injury related slow starts. With Allen being healthy I'm quite confident that with the Bengal's WR's not only do the Bills make the playoffs the last 3 seasons they win a SB or two. -
They don't have a lot of heart, though. Haven't you noticed how, in virtually every game this year, the other team clearly wants it more?
