  1. Past hour
  2. Well, Bradford clearly wasn't his "type". But he was allowed to pick his QB in Denver (where as HC he was for sure running the offense) when he traded Cutler for Orton. He was allowed to pick his QB in Las Vegas, releasing Carr and signing Jimmy Garappolo to the Big Bucks. Offensive success did not follow.
  3. Brady made Belichick
  4. In addition to heart rate monitors, those things have a GPS tracker too. A lot of athletes wear them under their uniform. How else do you think they know how fast a guy ran during a play or how many miles a soccer player ran during a game? https://shop.statsports.com/products/apex-athlete-series
  5. Because it doesn't tell close to the whole story. Bills offence barely turned it over last year and rarely put them in a bad spot. So of course if your offence turns the ball over like crazy, it's going to put the defence in a bad spot which is going to result in a higher points against. And on the other end, if the offence doesn't turn the ball over much and the other team has to go 70-80 yards every time, it's going to help their PPG. Agreed? Well they were 29th in 3rd down defence and I believe 25th in letting up first downs in total. There were also many stats that I don't have at the top of my head that had them ranked in the bottom half of the league.
  6. Hey guys if you are attending the game and wearing white pants if you are not completely "confident" of your lower back plumbing, you may wish to load up on this before going to the game...
  7. No. Groot is the workhorse DE. Bosa is near the end of his career and can't be counted on. Plus Groot just signed a contract and can't be traded/released without handicapping us. In my book, this last year at Highmark and next 2 seasons in the new stadium is the best windows for superbowl, assuming the recent picks panning out while the current extensions still in their prime. It is common in the past when a guy gets paid, his production dips - it's human nature where you worked really hard to see your fruits of labor and ... there is no new fruits and you relax and enjoy a bit. But in NFL if you don't push forward and just stand still, you actually fall behind. Does Marcel Dareus ring a bell? Super motivated guys, guys want to wear yellow jackets will never let that happen. Good guys will realize the mistake and pick up the hard work to get back on track (they do have the talent). So I do expect Rousseau to have good years ahead, even if not this year.
  8. Give me a guy that was available in free agency last year that got less money than Groot that is performing better. It's nice to think the grass always greener but sometimes it's browner.
  9. I am not saying it’s a good or bad thing myself. it does sort of drive me nuts though in the NBA. You have some guys that seem like they just sit for years due to vague soft tissue injuries.
  10. That was the example given. I live on the Lackawanna border and have no issue with Muslims except for the lady who yells at me while I walk my dog. Wish she spoke English so I could yell back lol.
  11. https://www.buffalobills.com/video/khalil-shakir-whatever-it-takes-to-win-buffalo-bills Start of the interview. Shakir is notably unenthused when asked about how Stefon Diggs will be received and answers "no idea". He swallows and looks to the side as though seeking counsel from a Bills PR handler (??) then offers "he was here before, and I learned so much from him about the game, but as for the fans, no idea." Notably more enthused when talking about our offense and how the "everybody eats" mentality only works if "every single individual" is really bought in to that.
  12. Bills #2 offense (ypg) #11 defense (ypg) TO: +3 Pats #14 offense #16 defense TO: -3 I don't think the Pats can score enough running the ball to keep up with the Bills' offense. So can Drake Maye pass well enough against Bills (currently ranked #1 in pass D) to win the game? The older, traditional stats point to a Bills victory. The Bills have the better offense and are more likely to win the turnover battle.
  13. There’s a chance that he might not want to join a ps and would rather sit and wait for the right opportunity, maybe due to injury. or maybe no one wants him. 😂 I’d feel a lot more comfortable about the S position if we had him. I was hoping for the 2024 version of Rapp. So far, it looks like we have the 2016 version of Donte Whitner. I’d love to see Hancock get a shot but I don’t thinks there’s any chance McD starts him over Rapp. What are the chances that Damar Hamlin is the reason we aren’t looking to upgrade Safety? If we signed someone, who would be cut? My vote would be Damar….Hancock is young, athletic and under rookie contract. Cam Lewis isn’t going anywhere. Ingram might cut when Hairston and the DL returns. Does the FO want Damar on the team and in the locker room at the expense of upgrading the position? Give me Simmons.
  14. Still waiting on yours.
  15. Good question! I think Maye has all the tools be a very very good QB.. I think McDaniels is a good fit for him, but as my wife says I am wrong a lot. (Also I believe they can help make each other.. Brady was an outlier he was fanatical about everything football.. most aren’t going be like that now.)
  16. You are the one that thinks “swallowed it whole” is a dick joke, right? That the previous administration pressured google/youtube/facebook to engage in censorship is the opposite of a straw man. Do you know what the term actually means?
  17. Anyone have “informed speculation” regarding why this injury that was supposed to be 3-4 weeks is taking way longer than that?
  18. For me, I’m not that concerned about how Davis has looked this year. I was okay moving on before the season. He did okay last year. His skills just aren’t dynamic enough to me. I didn’t like Zack Moss either. Motor was a much better player. You just can’t have slow feet. It doesn’t work in 2025. It is WAY too easy to defend.
  19. Well considering they came after him and tried to get him arrested, had his homes raided and two assassination attempt, I think he has every right to chirp back. There is no unification with the Radical Left. He doesn't need to be a punching bag. Not all Dems but the loudest ones are incredibly disrespectful to him. We find out in Minneapolis that a group of Muslims were stealing food from children and then bribed the Juror #52. Then 50% of immigrants commit immigration fraud. This is the state in which Tim Walz represents, goes after him all the time. That state is nothing but a fraud state. Its the state I grew up in and now it's an awful place. Sorry, but there is nothing wrong with what Trump is doing.
  20. it's funny in the nfl what comes first? the coach or the QB?
  21. If you’ve been to the beach in recent years you know it’s a huge market opportunity!
  22. You got any other cliches when backed into a corner of how wrong you are? ”I don’t like big government over reach” Well Trump told a room full of high ranking officials we should deploy the US military on American cities “That’s just more dumb Trump talk, now let me go back to straw manning about Biden” You should probably stick to the main board, completely out of your lane on politics…
  23. I think he needs a certain type of QB maybe.. like any other coach.
  24. Yeah, the lack of tackles suggests that either A) Sanders is constantly getting double teamed and washed out of the play or B) he can’t get off his block to get to the ball carrier. And it’s not like he isn’t getting opportunities. Aside from the Jets game, the run defense has been a sieve, as resistant as tissue paper.
