Nice narrative, but people on this board who do have some sources say that the 2022 season problems started well before the Hamlin game. If you search, you can find here. Things that have been heard are: -Stef would go after Josh for his perceived mistakes after practices and games to the point where it made the rest of the WR room uncomfortable, and Josh finally had enough and stopped taking it. At one point during that fall, Josh and Diggs relationship was so bad they were reportedly barely talking to one another. -Keep in mind that Josh tore his UCL in the '22 Week 9 Jets game and the initial assessment going around was that he would miss at least as many games as he missed his rookie season (4). Palmer said after the season that it was a worse tear than 2018 where Josh missed 4 games. There's a Marino podcast talking about how it impacted the Bills passing game. Josh was listed as "limited" in a number of practices and there are reports he was limited in throwing (or not throwing) for weeks. -It was said that Diggs was late for meetings and the team gave him a parking spot by the entrance and other special handling to try to keep him in line -Also said that Diggs pulled some stunts that "hurt the team". As far as "Josh played poorly" vs Cinncinnati, please keep in mind that the whole team played poorly - starting with our defense, which looked as though they were on skates. Specifically, Diggs was targeted 10 times and had 4 receptions for 35 yds. While some of were off-target, others of them looked to be catchable balls. There were also balls where it was pretty clear Allen and Diggs weren't on the same page.

My thought is the game could end up being a throw away game for both teams that late in the season. EDIT: Unrelated to previous response...

More ammo to raise Cook's number to $17M/yr next offseason. Henry is 31. Cook will be going into his prime. Yes. The poster you quoted said his "asking price" just went up. It almost certainly did. The market was just set again. And fans can devalue and trash Cook all they want, it doesnt change the numbers game. Cook's agent now has a floor of $15M/yr, with likely a bigger asking price and starting point. And some team will pay whether it's the Bills or not.

At the very least - we know shakir is a dawg. Worthy getting all this love is strange considering to get 82 more yards than coleman required 41 more targets. I get it, he played well in the playoffs and those games matter more. But the bills defense was pretty bad in that one. Benford goes out and in goes elam, with douglas already struggling. The entire team couldn't tackle or create pressure. Also his big catch wasn't even a freaking catch and i'll never have anyone explain to me why it was. I also don't really think its that important when you get 150 yards in a super bowl when your team ran the ball 7x, turned it over 3x, had 12 first downs, and lost by 18. He had 2 catches for 9 yards when they were down 34-0.

Yes, plenty of us were calling for Rapp to be replaced when he was killing us with friendly fire a couple seasons ago. He seems to have gotten it under control after the 2023 Chargers game where he took out 2 of our own players. The fans of other teams are free to complain about him as well. I'd say MOST Safeties play a bit dirty. It's inherent in the position where you are the last line of defense and either you make a hit or the guy goes all the way, plus they usually have the most runway for a full head of steam.
