  1. Past hour
  2. It's pretty clear reading between the lines of Beane's words and their official label of "Defensive Back" on anything that Jordan Hancock's role on this team is the eventual successor for Cam Lewis as the floating backup Nickel CB and Safety. Even in the little bit he spoke to the media he said "really everywhere" when asked where they were trying him out at. He even talked about learning multiple playbooks for multiple positions. in Year 1, the ceiling for him is that he impresses enough that they cut Cam Lewis this year and Hancock is the first guy up if there's an injury to Taron Johnson or to one of the starting Safeties. There's almost no chance they're going to take a late 5th Round Pick that is learning multiple playbooks and being split between multiple positions in Training Camp and make him a Starter at Safety in Year 1. Especially with how conservative McDermott generally is with Rookies.
  3. No one sits down as bills games, who cares
  4. My God! Derrick Henry at 8 Mil? Cook's definitely on crack...
  5. Oh, you mean indoor stadiums?
  6. He was not going to be a top 10 pic if he said that He has -127 rushing yards in his college career... Like , the NFL is moving towards quarterbacks who can make plays on the run And he's not going to be a playmaker at the NFL level.. he's a 6'1 pocket passer who's also not sturdy There's not many six foot one pocket passers with limited athleticism that get drafted in the top 10.. Even Baker Mayfield was sturdier , a bigger arm , better production, and had a thousand rushing yards in his career Nobody's taking a quarterback with minus 127 rushing yards who's 6'1 If he was 6'4 with a big arm sure maybe that could have landed him in the top 10.. average arm strength at his size and can't run not happening
  7. We have a yard similar in size to yours. I have been using an EGO mower for a couple of years. Not home currently so cannot provide model number. Very dependable and great that I don’t have to wear any noise suppression ear devices. We do not use the self propelled mower selection because it depletes the batteries much faster. But our property is rather flat so it’s not required. I also purchased a trimmer that use the same EGO batteries. Batteries can be expensive.
  8. a better attitude would have made him a nicer guy, not a more skilled NFL QB
  9. Technically yes, Whaley was a lame duck that they kept until after the daft, but McDermott was making all the decisions. Bean was let go by Carolina in 2016, McDermott knew he was bringing Bean on board, do you think they didn’t talk about Hyde and Poyer?
  10. And McDermott can hit them on D with some stuff they haven't seen from us yet.
  11. The NFL and all its hangers on are full of irrelevant fluff pieces, that’s what “embedded” is, every teams Brown & Glab, is fluff,, it’s how the keep themselves in the sporting news, even when the season hasn’t started and when it’s over, fluff keeps the NFL world spinning, and football nerds the world over love this stuff, 😁👍
  12. Weeks 2, 3, and 4. Week 1 against the Cards was 1:00 Sunday.
  13. Clearly, thinking isn’t your strong suit - if it were, you might see the contradictions.
  14. Hyde & Poyer were signed before Beane came to Buffalo.
  15. My son has/had an electric mower. He got a little more than a year ago. When it died recently, he paid someone to come out and tell him they are basically disposable now, like TV’s. It’s quite possible he got a cheapo model (that would fit his style) but I suggest you look into reviews about durability. Not trying to discourage, just offering a bit of experience. Good luck! EDIT: He says the guy who came to look at it said water had apparently gotten into it, which is apparently a common issue. Worth knowing if it’s easily avoided. He kept it in the garage and never used water on it. 🤷‍♂️ .
  16. Hoping whatever primetime games the bills get this season are spread out a bit. Those first 3 primetime games we had last year were tough for us early birds. If I remember right, it was 3 weeks in a row 😖
  17. The MSM actually reported on this story in a benign way over a week ago but decided to re-report it today, in unison, as a coordinated attack on Trump. The decision to replace the current planes being used for Air Force One was made a long time ago. Trump made a deal with Boeing during his first term in 2018 to replace the two planes for $3.9 billion. The current pair of planes are 35 years old. The planes were supposed to be completed and delivered between 2021 and 2024. Boeing is running so far behind that they won't be done for 5-10 more years, if that. They also want billions more to keep building them after originally agreeing to a fixed price. Trump will be getting a new plane. In February Trump talked about instead of waiting for Boeing, acquiring a plane from a foreign country. Democrats want to make sure that no country gifts anything to America and that the taxpayer pays for the entire thing. Ok guys. This is why no one listens to them. Irrelevant media. Fake journalists.
  18. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/james-cook-potential-holdout-not-something-i-want-to-talk-about-right-now Going to be interesting to see if Cook holds out or not. (I can't see how it would make any sense from his side)
  19. Searched for 'Newark' in All Content And there you go, completely upstaged by your own bias and ignorance. The irony is rich. Republicans clutching their pearls over FAA issues, conveniently forgetting their own track record of undermining the agency. GOP's FAA sabotage: 2019: A staggering 180 Republicans voted against funding the FAA, jeopardizing air traffic safety and modernization efforts. 2023: The FAA warned that proposed Republican budget cuts would severely impact modernization projects and staffing, leading to potential travel disruptions. Biden's efforts to modernize the FAA: 2023: Verizon $2 Billion Contract: In March 2023, the FAA awarded Verizon a 15-year contract worth over $2 billion to design, build, and operate a new telecommunications network infrastructure. This initiative aims to modernize the FAA's communications systems, enhancing safety and efficiency across the National Airspace System. And now Trump’s trying to cancel that FAA-Verizon contract - which means taxpayers will be stuck footing the bill for termination fees and lawsuits, all so the project can be handed off to Elon Musk who has his teenagers messing around. 2025 Budget Proposal: The Biden administration proposed an additional $360 million for the FAA to recruit air traffic controllers and modernize outdated systems. Infrastructure Investment: Biden's Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act allocated significant funds for aviation infrastructure improvements. It's amusing how the GOP now decries FAA shortcomings, ignoring their own role in underfunding and obstructing the agency. Perhaps it's time they look in the mirror before pointing fingers.
  20. That was the double kick in the mouth for Josh... living so close to Fresno he grew up a Bulldogs fan and as a high school player he used to attend the Fresno State football camps and got to know the coaching staff and the Carrs... but they wouldn't offer him a scholarship... so he said he would walk on without a scholarship and they told him they were all set at quarterback... so he went to Reedley College for a year and starred there... and after that, Fresno State still wouldn't give him the time of day. When the new Fresno State head football coach Jeff Tedford was being introduced, the AD or college president or someone remarked at the news conference, "... and by the way, Coach Tedford knows where Firebaugh, California is" or something to that effect.
