Its 8:10 am on the East Coast and you've already won the day.

You missed in the very next bullet point: "Allen, a top contender for this year's prize but absent on all of our analysts' ballots, could become just the fifth player in the Super Bowl era to pull off a repeat (joining Joe Montana, Brett Favre, Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers)." Interesting that there were 29 voters and not one single vote was cast for a Bills player.

Reasons for optimism, has needle moved at an improved roster this year?
mannc replied to Jistafan's topic in The Stadium Wall
As I recall, there were quite a few fumbles, but all were recovered by the Bills. That’s what will be hard to duplicate. But what you say is true…much of the positive turnover differential is the result of design, on both sides of the ball. -
Couple excerpts from his draft profile: https://www.nfl.com/prospects/maxwell-hairston/32004841-4974-0557-7544-a7fed2221d85 - Hairston has the athleticism and on-ball talent to become a starter, but he needs to prove he can hold up to the rigors and physicality of the NFL game. - Massive liability in run support. - Below-average open-field tackler after the catch. Let me preface this by saying that sometimes the risk is worth the reward. Hairston has real upside as a coverage CB. But the risk in drafting him that highly was his size, stature and lack of physicality. But his injury was non-contact and that can happen to any player so I do not want to read too much into it. Still, this is not a good start for a prospect whose main question was his ability to hold up physically in the NFL.

My panties are definitely in a bunch after hearing this

More from the evidence we don't like means that there's zero evidence files. BREAKING: We exposed how George Soros converts tax-deductible donations into political campaigns through a $34 million pipeline where Tides and Working Families Party coordinate to support candidates like Zohran Mamdani Our investigation uncovered a $2+ billion tax-exempt network that systematically converted charitable donations into political power. The numbers tell the story. FULL INVESTIGATION: [link]: ➡️whitecollarfraud.com/2025/08/27/the… THE BASIC SCHEME: George Soros donates to his Foundation to Promote Open Society (501c3) - tax deductible → $8.4M flows to Tides Foundation (501c3) → $29.3M flows to Tides Advocacy (501c4) for "political advocacy" → Coordinates with Working Families Organization supporting candidates like Mamdani THE SMOKING GUN - REVERSE FLOWS: After receiving $9.71M from the Soros pipeline, Working Families Organization sent $325,000 BACK to Tides entities. Independent charities don't do this. It's mathematical proof of coordination. SYSTEMATIC CONCEALMENT: Tides Advocacy (501c4) lists Janiece Evans-Page as Director, while she simultaneously serves as CEO of both Tides Foundation (501c3) and Tides Center (501c3), yet Tides Advocacy filed NO disclosure forms for 5+ years while receiving $29.3M. THE EIN SCANDALS: ➡️Working Families Organization reported $80,000 to "WFP National PAC" but used an EIN that actually belongs to "International Earthlight Alliance." ➡️Tides Center reported a $343,753 contribution to "Tides Advocacy" using an EIN that belongs to "Think Outside Da Block Inc. PROFESSIONAL AUDITOR CONFIRMATION: Deloitte auditors confirmed operational integration between Tides Foundation and Tides Center, requiring consolidated financial statements. Yet Tides Advocacy - sharing the same leadership - systematically concealed these relationships. 6/ THE SCALE: ➡️$34.4M in documented flows between supposedly independent entities ➡️$16.1M in government grants flowing to organizations with political arms ➡️$36.5M in admitted "political transfers" by Open Society Institute ➡️Over $2B in total network operations OUR EVIDENCE: Every dollar amount traced to original IRS Form 990 filings. We've filed a Fifth Supplemental IRS whistleblower complaint documenting potential $500M+ in tax recovery from this coordination system. THE MAMDANI CONNECTION: This network manufactured his "grassroots" campaign while maintaining the illusion of independent charitable work. The infrastructure that created his political rise operates continuously, creating candidates nationwide. WHY IT MATTERS: If charitable tax deductions can be systematically converted into political coordination through concealed control structures, it undermines the entire tax-exempt system. Donors get tax breaks, candidates get "grassroots" cover, taxpayers subsidize political operations. The mathematics don't lie. When organizations engage in $34M+ flows while concealing key relationships and sending money backward through the system, these patterns warrant investigation.

We'll have to just settle for Super Bowl MVP.

Just Curious what were most surprising cuts NFL wide?
GunnerBill replied to Jistafan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hadn't spotted that, yea that's a shock to me. I liked him, I know @gonzo1105 liked him even more. I wonder what has happened there. Rare for a rebuilding team to cut a 5th rounder that same year without something going wrong. -
Glad ours won’t be black.

Plodder. I kept telling people in the great Cook debate that the NFL is increasingly recognising plodding "bigger" or "physical" backs are basically useless in the modern NFL. -
The eight Rivalries sets will apparently be revealed today. Miami’s were already leaked last night on their team page before being removed, and feature a black jersey, pants, and helmet with aqua numbers and orange names and details. Honestly just more black for black’s sake (BFBS in the uni forums). Hoping ours are better. Teams will be wearing them one game per year for the next three years.

What you guys say about turnover differential is true and there's bound to be a regression to the mean average but... since McDermott became Head Coach, the Bills lead the NFL in defensive takeaways with 252. The next closest teams are the Steelers with 240 and the Vikings with 229. The Bills will again have a positive turnover ratio and will likely be among the league leaders because McDermott has a proven track record of being able to take the ball away and Josh has really embraced protecting possession.

I thought your comment about not being under water for three weeks was kind of funny in a sarcastic way: You do understand that you're not constantly under water the entire time you're on a 3-week dive trip, right? I didn’t think most people would think you were completely submerged for 3 straight weeks, @Trump_is_Mentally_fit notwithstanding, so I went with a guy being underwater for just a bit longer than the oxygen might last in a tank. 100% miss on my part. Apologies for the confusion.

Yes. The transition to Russian style elections, business sector control, and the dividing up of the world is well underway. What is the American word for oligarchs? -
Don't care and neither should any fan. I guarantee EVERY HC and DC respects the hell outta Allen as does most players. But... he has an MVP, so I dont care if he ever wins another. How many MVP award for Aikman? ZERO! How many superbowl wins? THREE. Superbowls are all that matters now.

They're tied in betting markets, which makes it even more weird that not one of 20 analysts thought he could win.

Watched it last night. It's not that it's painfully boring it is that there is only so much story to tell with many of these guys. It dawned on me last night I guess. If you followed me around at work on a given day I'd not be so keen to want to put myself out there for your amusement. These guys are at work. Many of them don't care about the cameras or nonsense. They want to make a living. I also don't get the whole smittenness of Zach Davidson. They really hyped him up and showed the coaches and Beane loving him. Only to cut him. I wonder if there is a disconnect between the organization and the show. To put that many quality statements out there with the guy in the show to make us think the org loved him... To cut him.
