The DC police union said they're around 25% under-staffed. The cops will take the point on engaging with the public while the Guard will assume secondary duties to free up more cops for active law enforcement. Expectations and alarm the NG is going to partake in firefights and house searches in pursuit of criminals are uninformed speculation. Drama from the usual voices. The Democrats jumping ip and down on the furniture once again look like mind blowing imbeciles. Because it's working and getting results. The paid protests composed of out of town bused in white liberals look ridiculous. The other change is the perps will actually be facing consequences with no catch and release.

I think you are taking some liberties with what im saying to make a point but whatever. To be fair his production didnt really drop off from 2022 to 2023, but toe and foot injuries are usually redflags on receivers and that was why he was available in FA most likely. Bottom line he's had significant nagging injuries that limited his production for two straight years and last year more than the year before (2023). While he's played in a lot of games despite those injuries- there haven't been many games where he isnt limited by those injuries even though he gets snaps. That hurts the offense and gives the Bills a guy that isnt practicing fully and getting in rhythm with be integral to what they do. And the Bills see he's trending that way again. Im sure he is frustrated and the team is as well - its a tough game and almost all of these guys bust their asses to play in the league. The body of some just cant stay healthy or optimal. I dont remember that many people being on the Samuel train before he signed with the Bills. Im not always that active on the board but usually check in enough to see what's going on so maybe people were. I just remember the big thing was people wanting a top tier WR and i dont think anyone was under the impression Samuel was that. People wanted a top level WR from the draft. And they still do. I think a lot of people thought his connection with Brady and being paired with an elite QB in Allen where Diggs and Davis were gone could lead to him having a breakout season once he signed with the Bills, but the turf toe was lingering/reaggravated in camp and he really didnt have an impact until late season. He may be back but weve seen the guy suit up and be a nonfactor. Its tough to cut someone else who can contribute to important depth, especially if it means one less OL or DL roster spot to hedge at WR on Samuel's ability to play AND be a factor.

Yeah. Third preseason game (2 weeks before opener) was the “dress rehearsal” and fourth game was for guys who were on the roster bubble - but no one played that game who the coaches needed in week 1. The NFL (I think) figured that since week 4 had become useless, let’s get rid of it and just keep the 3 that have value. The coaches immediately decided that the last preseason game was going to be the useless one, whether it was 1 week or 2 weeks from season start.

Will Josh Allen Play Tmrw vs Bears
machine gun kelly replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
K Man, you're close. Whats been reported from multiple local sources is Coach McDermott prior to the Chicago joint practice states it will be determined at game time who starts and how long he plays. Since the O Line isn’t the problem, one would speculate Josh may have not played of he had a good practice with the Bears. Since many of us already read it was a sloppy practice Friday, Josh may want to play at least one drive, but I doubt more than one series as he's too valuable to risk an injury. Some would argue he’s the most durable QB in the league, but why risk it. -

The solution to this is to pretend preseason football doesn’t exist. I started doing that a few years and let me tell ya I’ve been over the moon happy with that decision -

ESPN acquiring the NFL Network and the NFL Redzone

You are correct, it isn't great. However, I don't have to have Disney/ESPN politics pushed on me there. Well, that is until now I suppose. -
First time in history a subservient nation has clown shoed the most powerful country in the world. The guy with all the leverage gave away the edge because he’s such a *****. Good job MAGAts, you lick Putin’s boots.

Somehow we're all still being subjected to a delayed ruling on Rice, despite the obvious calling for him to miss considerable time. The league should be smarter than allowing a derelict Rice to be available for KC's most difficult early slate of games, otherwise there's no tangible penalty for stretching the rules/cheating/being a criminal. No one else would be granted such lenience and patience.

hes not making the team he's going to get cut in the 1st cuts.
