  2. Brady said basically the same thing. So the guy that ran his division and the guy who's first team is hosting the SB and Montana's second team that's been a thorn - is saying he's the guy.

  5. Eagles won't do anything like last year. Just a nice home win
  6. "Usually." Since we're just going to set arbitrary rules, then I guess Joe Burrow is better than Lamar & Allen because at least he made it to a Super Bowl? The problem is these guys all play in the same conference. Brock Purdy & Jimmy G made it to a Super Bowl, yet I wouldn't call them great players. If Allen or Lamar were in the NFC, they'd have made the SB by now. So what other metrics can you use other than "they both haven't made a SB?"
  7. If I had to choose one ex-QB whose opinion I could trust it would be Joe Montana. He’s the reason I even played football as a kid.
  8. They win the game if Lamb catches any of those 3 passes that hit him straight in the hands. It's pretty hard to contain the QB when you're tied up at the line & your coverage is good downfield. We've seen other teams fail to do it with Josh many times over, even though they know it's coming. I agree that they could've done better, but like Allen & Lamar, he's a good scrambler. The Cowboys D held the defending SB champs to just 3 points in the 2nd half, which should earn them some props for anchoring down. I can only imagine how much worse it might've been if Hurts was as good of a passer as Lamar though.
  9. We will still keep cheering her on. Another heartbreaker. She will have another chance.
  10. Today
  11. Giants played them close both games last year. I always try to avoid division games as much as possible.
  12. The Curtis Brown one was amazing. Terrence other was really fast. I was waiting for the Spilled Time one. I was at that game. Great return. Someone won a pickup truck with that return.
  13. This is the exact crap I can't stand. Lamar wins MVP in '23 and it's all about how great he is. Josh wins in '24 and it's a "ahhh just give it to him" trophy when they both won in the same exact manner This is the exact crap I can't stand. 14. Warren Moon is an all-time quarterback And he never went to a super bowl my friend .. Dan Marino is better than Patrick mahomes and he went to one super bowl John elway didn't win one till he was on his last leg As someone who's been around this game for 30 plus years as a player coach and scout I can unequivocally say it takes luck as well as coaching and talent to win an even go to a super bowl The Buffalo Bills lost by three in Arrowhead last year without our two best secondary players.. and the worst spots I've ever seen in NFL officiating crew make... The NFL was sick about everybody saying how the Chiefs always get the flags and The crucial moment... So they held their flags and just moved the ball back 2-3 ft from the spot three or four times during the game in big moments High School refs aren't even that inept Josh Allen converted a clear quarterback sneak that they moved back half a yard and gave the Chiefs the ball back in their home field and we still lost by a field goal without our two best defensive backs When we played the Chiefs years ago without their two best defensive backs they made Gabe Davis look like Jerry Rice
  15. There’s a guy who is a huge soccer fan I know and made a parallel to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in their primes for Josh and Mahomes. 2 of the best ever. If you’re finishing a team you take Mahomes (Ronaldo). If you’re starting with little to work with, you take Josh (Messi). I guess that quote by Montana reminded me of that.
  16. I agree with your comment here. In the past 15 years or so the narrative has become "if you don't have a ring you suck and are a choker" Prior to that people still recognized a great QB as a great QB. Marino was an all-time passer, Kelly ran one of the most potent offenses of his era, Manning was considered great before he got his trophy. Dilfer is a perfect example that I use. He was good enough to not lose the game. The defense won that SB. However, in today's thinking he has a ring and is better than Allen, Lamar, Burrow, and so on. And we all know that isn't even close to being true. It's quite ridiculous really.
  17. Once again all time playoff QBs usually at least goes to the SB. Josh and Lamar has the exact amount of SB appearances.
  18. I made a bold move to go for the Giants over Washington in one of the two I’m in. Probably going to have egg on my face for that 😂
  19. Saw the Pepsi one too during the season opener. Sucks cause it’s with J. Jetts. Oh what could have been…
  20. Arizona. Denver is probably the safest pick but I want to save them.
  21. I remember watching an interview with Amari last season when I thought something like, "Smart guy. Likes the Bills. But talks more like an impassionate outside observer than an excited member of the squad." I know he's always been kinda low key. But I didn't get the impression he loved football the way Josh loves football.
  22. Defenses are way more complex today than when Walsh was coaching. He would have a lot of adjusting and catching up to do.
  23. You're from Baltimore, right? Have you ever been to Room 40?
