  2. Oh... it was never an option....
  3. Just like Cincinnati, Houston is banking on a coodinator being the sole cause of an underperforming unit.
  4. Joe Biden was diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also known as an enlarged prostate, in 2019. BPH is a common condition in older men where the prostate gland enlarges, potentially causing urinary problems. Biden's BPH was initially treated with medication and later with surgery. But they insist that his last PSA was back in 2014 Either lying or medical malpractice.
  5. Grow? on here with you? Why? Don't presume you know how I am of the message board. No reason to be serious with a bunch of fools who thinks everything trump does is perfect. When you admit Trump is an idiot and makes mistakes I'll consider trying to have a serious conversation with all you oncologist and experts in every field.
  6. Hailey said one of the three sons
  7. Mike Gillislee was a fun one in 2015 and 2016!
  8. This is the first step you'd take if you were serious about getting to the root cause of the Russia scandal.
  9. Stephen Miller is floating the idea of suspending habeas corpus for immigrants. You would think the official in charge of implementing any such suspension would have a passing familiarity with what that means. But it turns out she is more interested in furthering her brand than in actually learning what her job is.
  10. The Medicare cuts were news to me. This except explains it: If enacted, the Republican bill would add trillions of dollars to the deficit over the next decade by delivering another round of tax cuts skewed to the rich, partially offset by huge cuts to Medicaid and other programs. According to the CBO, the bill's addition to the deficit would trigger a process known as sequestration under the Statutory Pay‑As‑You‑Go (PAYGO) Act of 2010, a law long reviled by progressives that requires spending cuts equal to legislation's average deficit impact. Unless lawmakers offset the deficit impact of the Republican bill or agree to waive the PAYGO requirements—which the GOP measure does not do—the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) "would be required to issue a sequestration order not more than 14 days after the end of the current session of Congress (excluding weekends and holidays) to reduce spending by $230 billion in fiscal year 2026," the CBO said. "The deficit will explode so badly it will trigger automatic cuts, including over half a trillion dollars from Medicare." Under PAYGO, automatic Medicare cuts are capped at 4%. The CBO estimates that the Republican legislation would trigger roughly $45 billion in Medicare cuts in 2026 and a total of $490 billion in cuts to the program between 2027 and 2034. "This Republican budget bill is one of the most expensive—and dangerous—bills Congress has seen in decades," said Boyle, the top Democrat on the House Budget Committee. "The nonpartisan CBO makes it clear: The deficit will explode so badly it will trigger automatic cuts, including over half a trillion dollars from Medicare." "This is what Republicans do—pay for massive tax breaks for billionaires by going after programs families rely on the most: Medicaid, food assistance, and now Medicare," Boyle added. "It's reckless, dishonest, and deeply harmful to the middle class." remember that trump specifically promised not to touch medicare. if both medicaid and medicare cuts occur, there will be even faster closures of hospitals and clinics nationwide but especially in poor areas. that will affect the commercially insured in these areas also due to less access to care.
  11. It also just seems like the Texans aren't being as aggressive as a team with a QB on a rookie deal should be. Last year they went out and got Mixon, Diggs and Hunter both big time higher end talent moves. Diggs worked out until he got hurt, Mixon was a hit, and Hunter was a big addition with 12 sacks. This off-season it was kind of a lot of smaller moves a team that didn't have the luxury of a rookie QB deal would make. They traded away their best offensive linemen and brought in Cam Robinsion one a 14 million dollar one year deal and their only other notable acquisition was CJ Gardner Johnson in the secondary which while a nice trade isn't a massive needle mover. I get not wanting to overspend but you would think for a team that came into 2024 with big expectations and a team in a good cap situation they wouldn't be in such a slow pace to take advantage of a rookie QB deal adding another "big" piece or two even just another shorter term vet rental to add some impact and allow rookies to develop. I thought the Texans in 2024 were making sure to continue to dominate their weaker division, in 2025 I feel like they are allowing the division to come to them but likely will still win the division because all that's likely gonna take is 10 wins.
  12. Beane picking through the Walmart bin for new tennis shoes again.
  13. I suppose that proposal to let the Bills win a Super Bowl is dead as well?
  14. Never. Once an entitlement is added, it becomes politically toxic to remove it. Americans can’t even handle paying extra for cheap goods from China, an adversary we very much need to take on .. and most even agree with that notion. Still, if prices go up, the party out of power will blame the party in power and the party in power will acquiesce to avoid a bloodbath in the midterms. So with that said .. You think Americans can handle entitlements and subsidies being removed? Homelander is, as usual, not being honest, but there will be work requirements and other validating factors for subsidies and entitlements that can be spun as “killing the poors”. I actually do believe we should have a strong societal safety net. I also believe is strong borders and requirements to be met in order to not have that safety net be an albatross for middle/upper middle class America. Cant have it both ways. Well, we can, but we keep accelerating towards a fiscal cliff.
  15. I would KILL to have competent cabinet members again instead of Fox News washouts/alcoholics
  16. blaming the victims. Cost of living is extremely high especially for essentials like housing and food. All of my nieces and nephews are working their asses off too and not hanging out at Starbucks or living an opulent lifestyle. The affluence is concentrated in a small fraction of the population and this bill greatly worsen this economic inequality.
  17. not even one mention of the move gung ho. loved it.
  18. Thanks, I do live a blessed life. I didn't say any of the things that you implied in your above post. The pro-Russian propaganda on this site is overwhelming. War is a terrible thing, as this war is a terrible thing. It was initiated by Putin and Russia and it continues to be aggressively pursued by Russia. The insinuation that Ukraine can somehow "pursue peace" or "end this war" and remain a country where its citizens are safe and not at the whim of a murderous dictator is nothing but a Russian talking point. Are you a Russian? If not, why would you EVER defend its aggression against Ukraine? I thank the lord every day that our country and its military isn't run by the absolute nancies that post on this thread about how Zelensky should "back down" and end the war in Ukraine. That country is fighting for its existence. If that ever happens here, do us all a favor and just go sit down.
  19. Its one reason I'm not high on the Texans. Like yeah, back to back champs... against the Colts, Jags and Titans
  20. If you ever get the Buffalo winter blues: ”Say hello to my little friend”
  21. And remember all of the bravado, insults and inflammatory language is coming from a person who has never voted in a single election in his entire life.
