Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's not just the lousy QBs he's played under (and they are... BAD), but also some fairly lousy coaching staffs. He has a reputation as a malcontent due to some issues with the Jets coaching and management, and was benched for a half last year in Cleveland. His contract pays less than the core STer's like sherfield and Hodge so from a risk perspective this is about as low as it gets. As a rookie and 2nd year player- Robert Saleh - Defensive coordinator who failed as a Head Coach. Mike Lafleur - Not the good one, fired for hackett and back working under an experienced playcaller Miles Austin - Inexperienced WR coach QBs - Wilson, Flacco, White With the Browns - Stefanski - Seems to be pretty meh so far, the only time the team has been competitive is when the defense was good. 2025 will be 3rd OC in 3 years. He calls the plays but seems to scapegoat others. Pretty sure he's only still employed because of cash-flow, as dorsey being fired resulted in the TE coach being promoted. AVP - 1 out of 6 seasons as OC has the passing offense been top 20. Dorsey - Looks to be a product of allen vs. elevating the offense. Chad O'shea - Long time patriot who's bounced around post-belichick. QBs - Watson, Flacco, PJ Walker, Thompson-Robinson, Driskel, Winston, Zappe -

I have a hard time rewatching anything from Covid year. No crowds just sucks all the excitement out of it. It's like watching a closed practice. It's too bad that it was Allen and Digg's best year statistically -
Almost as sad as going to a protest without getting paid. That's really sad.

I went to High School with his daughter. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
-
This is just sad. Sadder than Trump’s little military dog and pony show.

I don't think he was consistent at all in 2024. I think his best he still looked like the old Matthew Stafford. His worst he looked a lot like Rodgers did. Those games they won down the stretch they won on defense, with the Bills game a stark exception. Everyone else they were beating 12-6 or score of that nature. Their defense held the Vikings to 9 in the playoff win. I don't think there is any way he is the 5th best Quarterback in the NFL right now. Personally I don't think he is top 10 anymore, he is just outside that.
-
he was released after 1 game--why reference this "time with Brady in NE"? you stumbled into that, I didn't even have to send you there! Anyway...just answer the question as to whether McD could have made the NFL's best WR function for the Bills True. Bit we are talking about on field and in the locker room. Maybe AB needed the calming influence of McD, instead of "I let the patients run the asylum" Tomlin...

Antonio Brown in big trouble...again

I agree with this too. One of the ex-Steelers said in an interview, he saw the signs and pointed it out before AB got famous. He told someone that once this dude gets money, he's going to be a problem. -
FWIW I struggled the most with that tier of #5-#10. What made me put Stafford at the top of that tier is I think he is still the most consistent out of that group. I am not looking at stats and I am not factoring in his 2022 Super Bowl win. His arm power is still there and because he's played for so long he can diagnose defenses with the best of them. He had to deal with Kupp losing a step and Nacua being injured for much of the year, middling pass protection, and a below average defense.

Diggs isn't even close to the pain in the ass AB is. Diggs gets pissy with his team; AB causes physical and financial harm to others.

Ultimately I think it ends with Israeli incursion and limited boots on ground to take care of the mountain nuke site. In the meantime they’re going to keep destroying infrastructure needed to repel such an incursion, and take the chance to turkey shoot what they can with a weakened historical nemesis.

Looks like we can add farm workers to this list now, too. This is what happens in an outrage-driven movement like MAGA. All those illegals who are criminals they carry in about? Turns out there aren’t that many. And the ones who fall in that category typically were and are expeditiously deported under long-standing law. Which is why to meet his deportation quota Trump took to things like deporting migrant labor. Which in turn screwed up the farming industry. Which in turn caused him to go TACO again. It’s weird. I tend to agree with you. They probably fade back to where they are before. But maybe they stay involved and splinter. Some may go to a Bernie candidate. Others may double down on someone like Tom Cotton. It’s hard to say,

And Biden was a part of the administration that paid Iran billions to “not” pursue nuclear weapons but could still build the missiles pummeling Israel today. A deal they immediately broke. A deal set to expire this year. Trump in 2015 called it the worst deal ever. I’m finding it hard to see why it was ever agreed to in the first place. This isn’t Obama’s fault. He just decided the superpower of the Middle East should be Iran. Which is itself, meddling. Intervention. Adventures in the Middle East. Trump brought us the Abraham Accords. The most significant step toward peace probably ever, between Israel and its neighbors. But sure he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

MNF. On the road. NFC super bowl team from 2019. Top 5 defense. 32/40 375 4 TDs. That crazy highlight reel post that was just an absolutely perfect throw. While he did fumble... those don't count from a QB stats perspective according to MVP stat comparisons anyway 🙂
