When you get into the weeds of the Russia hoax it can be dense and it's easy to get lost. But here's the whole thing in a nutshell. People must be held accountable. Exactly. There’s no need for elaborate theories. We know what happened. Hillary pushed Russia collusion as both sword and shield. The FBI bit because they saw it as their job to protect the Clintons, but didn’t press too hard since everyone expected her to win. When she lost, Obama and his intelligence officials weaponized the Clinton plan to sabotage Trump and protect Obama's legacy.

Citing a handful of remorseful quotes. It just goes to show you can't please everyone. Job one. Secure the border. Complete. Everyone is happy. If the Dems would have taken controlling the nation's borders as an obvious responsibility of government Trump would have lost. But they didn't. A learning moment largely ignored.

It really might be mere preseason hype, but I'm reading that Ty Simpson is looking good at Alabama. I was not a fan of Milroe as a QB. He's a really good person and he has all the talent in the world. but he was an inadequate passer imo. Simpson cannot run like Milroe (who can?), but he can run some, and he's a very good scrambler. In the little I saw of him last season, he threw some nice, accurate passes. I wanted Coach DeBoer to put him in last year when Milroe faltered, but I'm not the coach and I'm sure DeBoer had his reasons for not doing so. There was competition for the job this year, to include a 5 star freshman (Keelon Russell), who I think will be exceptional down the road. Simpson was also a 5 star, but he played for a somewhat small high school in Tennessee. In any event, The Crimson Tide will take the field in 22 days. Good luck to fans of any particular team! ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Make a Wish program is a big deal in the airline business. In its early years, only the flight attendants would know and handle the special treatment. One time, I was doing a 757 ORD to orange County trip, and after we landed a flight attendant was at the cockpit door with a kid about 10 who looked quite ill. She told me he was a Make a Wish kid whose dream was to go to Disneyland. She said he asked if he could see the cockpit and I said of course. I got him set up in my seat and while the FO was explaining all the stuff to him his dad told me he had terminal cancer, and D'land was his dream. I was so impressed with him. Anyway, he spent about 15 mins in my seat and when he left he looked really happy. Lots of pics etc. I gave him my card with my address and some kind, encouraging words on the back, and about a week later I got a thank you card from him expressing how much fun he had in the cockpit. About a month after that, I got a note from his dad who said he had passed away, but wanted me to know that the cockpit visit was more thrilling to him than D'land, and that they had framed a few of the pics and placed them with him in his hospital room at the end. It really made an impression on me. Now, they have a full thing at the gate prior to boarding for these kids and everybody is made aware. It is an immense pleasure to put a smile on these kid's faces. (Please, no "Airplane" movie jokes) -

When the announcer said "and his wish is" just as it cut to a hot cheerleader dancing, my first thought was "yeah that's my wish too, kid". That's a great thing for them to do. Nice that they didn't just let him play with them but had him signing the contract, signing autographs and stuff as well. They put a lot of thought and effort into it. -

Calling Bishop injury prone is premature IMO. He missed all of 4 games in college, and one last year. It’s unfortunate they’ve happened in camp two years in a row but let’s wait and see how he makes it into the year before making these claims - Today

Not if having one of them means the rest of the team consists of sub par players because of the salary cap. Of course not.

The Bills are in a tough spot. They don’t have much cap space to work with. I’m sure Bean could get creative and kick the cap situation down the road again but at some point it catches up with you. Cook is a valuable piece to the offense. The second best player after Josh. It will be hard to replace his speed and home run ability. They could get by with Ty Johnson and Ray Davis but they wouldn’t be as good and would be in trouble if either gets injured. I think they will give him an extension of 3 years, 42 million with 30 million guaranteed. Cook would be foolish not to take it. Sure he wants 15 million a year but the market is just not paying that. Perhaps they could add incentives. He wants to be here and the Bills want him. He has a good situation where he doesn’t need to be an every down back and less rushing attempts will extend his playing career. Playing with Josh Allen and a good offensive line makes him a more productive player. He has to realize that and take it under consideration. I don’t think he will be as productive on a lesser team with a bad I line and qb. I will be pissed if he ends up in KC next year. The Bills are in a tough spot. NFL Week 1 Announcers Prediction/Schedule 2025

Given how our season ended to the Chiefs, I’m sure I’ll bet the over if it’s 10 mentions of Patty and the team. -
Lol Great movie. Two youngest, girls, are all over it. Honestly? I’d presume 10-16 year olds but given the anime fanatics out there and the markets in Asia I don’t think it’s really age specific. Musical, family friendly anime is how I would describe it.

Woo boy…. Abortion scandal at a school in Fairfax County schools in VA: From November 2021 - 2 students who were minors at the time claim that their school arranged and paid for their abortions. School did not inform the parents. A violation of law. Per the former students - They were arranged by the social worker and ok’d by the principal of the school at the time. 1 student fled the abortion clinic and confided in a teacher - that is corroborating their story - named with permission in the article below. Further reports from other students say that the school was trying to get students to “bait” that teacher into making infractions that could lead to her termination - https://dailycaller.com/2025/08/07/virginia-school-district-probes-allegations-staff-arranging-student-abortions-behind-parents-backs/ FCPS is now investigating the claims - in response to the question “has the county ever arranged for a student to get an abortion?” They said “not to their knowledge.” See the news clip. Story broke online yesterday. It’s national now after Laura Ingraham and DC News picked it up. She lives in the county so expect this to be followed by her very closely. This investigative online journalist is a Walter Curt - he has apparently done a ton of research. He has written and audio statements from the students, their parents, other students, and the teacher that the one girl confided in after this: Fairfax County’s Centreville High School is staring down a potential criminal firestorm. Two female students—both minors—say school officials arranged and bankrolled abortions at Fairfax Healthcare Center without so much as a phone call to their parents, a direct break with Virginia’s parental-notification law. One girl underwent the procedure at 17; the other, five months pregnant and pleading to keep her baby, bolted from the clinic after social worker Carolina Díaz allegedly told her she “had no choice.” Principal Chad Lehman, the girls insist, knew—and taxpayers footed the bill. A handwritten statement from the first student, translated for clarity, lays out how Díaz scheduled the appointment, paid the clinic’s fees, and swore her to secrecy. The girl, an 11th-grade ESOL student, says the abortion took place in November 2021—while she was still seventeen—making the concealment a straight-line violation of state law. A second Centreville minor, five months pregnant and wavering, was allegedly told by the same social worker that she “had no other choice.” The girl, terrified, ultimately bolted from the clinic rather than go through with the procedure. She later confided in her teacher, Mrs. Zenaida Perz, who allowed her name to be used on the record and provided The W.C. Dispatch a recording of the family confirming that no one at the school had ever informed them of the intent to terminate their daughter’s pregnancy. I have reviewed the audio in full and verified its content, it’s heartbreaking. Both incidents, sources say, were green‑lighted by Principal Chad Lehman and financed—again, allegedly—through school funds, meaning taxpayer dollars may have underwritten clandestine abortions carried out on minors without parental knowledge. https://www.wcdispatch.com/p/bolted-doors-and-broken-laws DC News: More to come…..another massive school controversy in a gubernatorial election year in VA. As of now - nope. And they won’t. They think minors don’t have to notify parents

You might be right lol Are they that much worse from last season with Daniel Jones under center? Saints, Giants, Browns and Titans are all on par with them right now. Giants maybe not so much but their schedule is pretty rough if you by the standard of their opponents seasons last year. My bet is the Saints land the top pick with the Titans right on their heels.
