Were there ever years you were disinterested in the Bills?
HOUSE replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I had more fun when the Bills were horible. Rob Riddick was Rob Ridiculous, Kenny Jones was Kenny sure grip (always holding) So I was never down on the team but it was exhausting. Look at the board now, it was busier when the Bills were bad. -
Can you explain? Just curious. I always hear mixed things about The Villages experience. I know some people that love it and some people that hate it
-
Im still a ways away (although its approaching faster than I want to believe). Right now, I think Tennessee is winning. 2nd Place is somewhere in Arizona. A lot depends on where my kids end up too.

Darrick vs Damar…who makes the team?
The Cincinnati Kid replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s not. -
Last year his stats were as follows Rushing - 207 carries, 1009 yards, 4.9 avg with 16 TD's Receiving - 32 receptions 258 yards 8.1 avg with 2 TD's 18 total TD's is something you can't dismiss. If we had a better receiving group then maybe it would be easier to move on from him, but we don't. He is the 2nd best player on offense. The Bills need him for a Super Bowl run.

As with everything MAGA, there is no actual plan for the future. There is nothing to replace USAID, why would anything replace FEMA? It’s telling that the MAGA reaction to this is to screech like rabid chimps. I think Adam hit a little too close to home.

Right here in Columbus Ohio. My family lives in FL (The Villages and Jacksonville). You couldn't pay me to live in either place.

The dog days of 2016 were some of the toughest weeks to watch. in the last 25 years, I have probably missed 4 or 5 Bills games and 3 of them may be from that year. -

You can't buy beer...you can only rent it. -
Fair or not the media will bring up no championships if he never wins one just like Marino. If Allen wants to join Brady, Mahomes, Montana, Manning then he needs to win the Lombardi at least once. Hopefully this is the year.

I have been and remain skeptical that anything will happen to the big players in the Russia hoax. That there's an "investigation" into these two treasonous clowns being leaked independently to multiple outlets from this FBI does indicate that something is brewing however. The information wars continue. You must beat them at their own game. -

Yep. My wife and I had Sunday Ticket and would end up falling asleep on the couch most second halves because we were so Billsy. -
JohninMinn. started following Is Cook worth it?
-
Cook is ranked 24th in yards after contact. That's a reason to move on along with some key drops.

Were there ever years you were disinterested in the Bills?
Gregg replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
As a Bills fan, I am always interested in the Bills. Even when they sucked for most the 70's, 84 and 85, and the drought years I was always rooting for them to win. It wasn't fun losing most of the time, but I never lost interest in them and never will. -
I hope so because if they don't have him their chances for a Super Bowl take a major hit. The Bills WR's/TE's are average, and Allen can't do it by himself. Cook may not be in Barkley and Henry's league, but he is an excellent back who takes a lot of pressure off Allen.

Lots of people rave about the Gailey/Fitzpatrick years. To be honest I wasn’t too thrilled with having Donald Jones and David Nelson and Naaman Roosevelt as our receivers. What a waste -
Comey & Brennan Under Criminal Investigation

Of course they do. The notion that additional time, dialogue and negotiation was an option v an armed raid is discounted. As does the fact that after multiple hours and complete control of the premises, the DOJ allegedly grabbed tax information and correspondence between Trump and his attorney. Thereafter, the resistance of the DOJ to the notion of an impartial Special Master to weed through the data was a red flag. I think Chi will argue that this is simply a reflection of the purity of the law, the essential application of the hand of justice. I’d argue that the application of simple, honest and straightforward event management would include dialogue about how to avoid any appearance of impropriety. On the other hand, it turned out that the Smith approach likely led, at least in part, to Trump return to the White House. In that regard, the Chi’s of the world played a key role in that. Complete clusterf*ck. -
I currently live west of FT Lauderdale. Most likely move a few hours north and maybe west coast of Florida. In a perfect world one of the Virgin Islands.

Im shocked! Shocked I tell you!!!

My guess is that a $12 million deal with $30 million guaranteed will get done by game 1. He knows that this team is his best chance to get a SB, and the Bills know that he is the perfect RB for this offense. If they wait a year, his price goes up.

There were some years during the drought where I still watched/followed the team but I just knew they were a horrible team and had no actual faith in them accomplishing anything. I would call those seasons "going through the motions" years for me
