  1. Past hour
  2. For many of the drought years I became disinterested by mid-season. I watched most, if not all, of the games, but there were definitely times late in the season when all hope was lost that I would run errands and just check in on the game via the radio in the car.

    Oh Henry agrees.
  4. Hmm, I'm not sure Epenesa will be on the team. We'll see.
  5. People died because of Noem’s incompetence. A sad day indeed.
  6. I have actually looked at Williamsville real estate in the last week just to get the pulse of things. I could do Williamsville much of the year and love it. I would only make brief winter visits. It’s not that any one day is so severe, it’s that, like summer in FL, it just lasts so damn long!
  7. I watched the first few episodes. I always enjoy these type of documentary/shows that go behind the scenes. Would like to hear everyone's thoughts on it or parts that stood out. The show follows Cousins, Goff and Burrow last year. Considering the stories of the Bengals, Lions and Falcons last year (and their QBs), I give it a 10/10 recommend you watch. I absolutely enjoyed it. I fell asleep for the last episode so I'll get to that tonight One that stood out for me, was what they showed during the Bills and Lions game last year. We were up 35-14 I think at half They show and give audio at the start of the third quarter and it's Ben Johnson and Goff talking.... It goes like this Johnson-so you know, we aren't running it the rest of the game. Goff-yeah I know and if they keep playing D like they did at the end of the half we are gonna smoke em Now, I think this goes into what has been spoke about on these boards. When we get a lead we just sit in a prevent type role and get smoked. It almost cost us in this game. The lions did whatever they wanted in the 2nd half and the game got a lot closer than it should have. Thankfully our offense didn't slow down either. . That said, we won. Should we continue with this strategy when we get up a few scores, or would you prefer more aggression when we have the other team one dimensional?

  8. ⬆️ I'm very pleased to announce that this is human trash.
  9. You forgot the cavity check. Arrested immediately & given a full cavity check. That'll teach 'em to be Sabres fans in public!
  10. Very qualified people in Trump’s cabinet!
  11. Never been disinterested. And there was certainly something about those crappy years. There was always hope early in the season. Perhaps a little displaced hope, but hope. It was just wanting to make the playoffs. The problem was, all hope was dashed, usually around late Nov, early Dec, sometimes earlier. At least when it all ended, we didn't come crashing down to earth like what happens now with all the expectations so high. So now we've traded the merry-go-round of the drought years with the roller coaster of today.
  12. Long Island, NY is a wonderful place to live. It has beaches, fishing, golf, great food, highly rated schools, and great medical care. The crime rare is low in most parts. There is just so much good about Long Island but the taxes are just insane. The SALT changes will help to some degree but the taxes are REALLY way too high. I have been up to Williamsville, NY many times and I absolutely love it there. I could stand the cold but not all of that snow.
  13. Cape May is very nice...
  14. ICE is actively committing crimes against American citizens, but you’re cool with that because they’re brown.
  15. How on earth do tariffs make the “world subservient to us?” The consumer pays for the costs. Firms in other countries then stop marketing their goods here because people are less likely to buy something more expensive, especially if they’re elastic goods. It’s just baffling how MAGA happily accepts it with no critical thinking.
  16. I'll say over. I'd swap Bosa and Rousseau's numbers from the OP. This goes without saying, but I'm sayin' anyway, a major factor for these numbers is the secondary. If they can stay mostly healthy and a couple guys step it up, the numbers will certainly be up.
  17. Also the offseason is the time the league looks the other way with performance enhancing drugs. So pretty much the only time for these guys to put on muscle with “help”.
  18. After the music city miracle, my interest waned. I moved out of WNY in 1984 (for work) but hung on for 6 or 7 years - had a subscription to Shout! for years- that would typically arrive after the game they were previewing LOL. But kept me feeling in touch. Then I still tried to follow them, but only a couple nationally televised games a year - and typically those were Billsey losses😒 got excited again with the season the drought ended…Bean, McDermott & then Josh! now live checking TBD every morning. Watch every game! Passion reignited.
  19. My interest gradually decreased after 2000 or so. It bottomed when the Pegulas bought the team and hired Rex Ryan to be coach. At that point, I almost gave up on the team.
  20. He is not even running full speed, his head is turned toward the QB at the release, and his footwork is telling. He doesn't even have to settle under it. My point is he misread the throw and that is an underrated WR skill. We are going to disagree on this, which is fine.
  21. 1989 was a fantastic year summer for the Dead. Their concert in Philly was wonderful as were the ones in Buffalo and the Meadowlands. Jerry appeared to be relatively sober. RIP Jerry.
  22. Kermy.....c'mon man?!......
