  1. Past hour
  2. They clearly need a safety to play with Bishop and an LB that can fill. Can't stand watching our LBs get washed - the game has turned to running the ball more. And we are going to get Josh killed if we don't get two wideout options that make sense - one being a clear #1 even if not a "Top 10" guy. Do we have enough to do that if we cut all the dead wood?
  3. I need you to share the stats on this D and SP teams units to explain your position. You saying it doesn’t make it accurate.
  4. I don’t want Webb anywhere near the OC position. Last year was the year to choose a new coach. There were several coaches available who would have done a better job with this team in the nine years mcdermott has been the coach he still fails to grasp in game changes when it’s not working. His run first offense with one of the best Quarterbacks in history is a crime. Let’s trade Allen and play trubisky if all he has to do is hand the ball off.
  5. Their start wasn’t very hot. They squeaked out wins vs bad teams and have looked a mess the entire year.
  6. It does seem that a change should happen. Its been 9 years and now the team seems to be getting worse. The Eagles eventually moved on from Reid and he had more success there than McDermott has had here. I doubt Terry cleans house. Beane and McDermott will be back next year.
  7. For example. Remember the constant cycling between 3-4 and 4-3 defenses. If the new hire wants to run a 3-4, we would need to get all new LBs to run that. We have massive cap resources invested in the ones we have now, so that takes a season of suckling to clear the space to rebuild. Then another season for the new players to gel. We used to go through this cycle every three years, where a new coach would want new schemes and the roster they inherited didn't fit their needs. I could go dredge out old threads to prove my point, but I think we can all remember this process if we think back hard enough.
  8. Rousseau has almost always been at a level like the “myth of Lee Evans” drawing coverages away for other receivers or Star Lotuleili “taking up space” for others to make plays
  9. bingo. i think if he stays healthy and plays at the level he's played at since 2024, he was a decent signing, but not a great one. benford to date has been a worse signing. he's been hurt in each of the last 3 years, and at really bad times. bernard was paid less, but he's literally one more injury away from being a total bust off contract. shakir is a good slot player, but he's just a guy who can play, not a difference maker. i think the real issue is we over pay for solid, and horribly over pay for injured, but lack great players (imo a great player is a player who makes players around him better, we have 2-5 of them on the team, and cook and allen are the only elite ones). i think the edmunds comparison is kinda apt. in retrospect, i wish we signed him and let milano and bernard walk
  10. Pretty sure they drafted him as an elite QB sack, TFL type of guy as his college stats suggest he was.
  11. I would welcome not making the playoffs if meant we'd get a top 15 pick in the draft to infuse us more talent.
  12. The 1999 Buffalo Bills were 7-4 at one point The 2023 bills were 6-6 at one point The sky seems like it’s falling but the world will not end if we play on the Road in the playoffs. Winning the division hasn’t helped us make the Super Bowl and last five years has it? Maybe once, and for all, the bills need to have the underdog mentality to make it to the Super Bowl, ironically, on the road in the playoffs and no playoff games at highmark
  13. The culture really wasn’t great for championship football. It’s too happy go lucky let’s all be friends. For a feel good story it’s great. Not really the best for let’s dominate our opponent and hammer them into the ground.
  14. You can put me down for whatever you want, but that does make it true. I'm certainly not happy after yesterday or this years roller coaster ride... However, I'm old enough to know that change can make things better OR worse. That said, who do you see as a better coach and what do you think they will need to do to get us over the hump? For me, I don't see a Head coach out there but for OC I'd love to see us give someone like Webb a shot. But again, change doesn't guarantee better results. It's just a fact of life Exactly. He's probably been a fan since 2020...

  16. The attention Dion Dawkins got via Josh Allen winning MVP seems to have him in his own world
  17. And Houston was gifted 6 points in that first half thanks to lousy turnovers by our offense. Yet I know gotta play better than they did yet the offense, which included a RB that was averaging 6.8 yards per touch couldn't more than a single TD the entire game. Everyone wants to point at everyone but Josh Allen which to me unacceptable. If Lamar or Mahomes played like he did we'd all be pointing the finger at them but because Josh is a God in some fans eyes he not getting flack here. Sorry I'll love Josh when he's great like the 2nd half last week but also get upset if see him play poorly like he has the last few weeks.
  18. Well Milano is up this year, Samuel could be a post June 1 cut, and Knox could be forced for a reduction in his contract or he can walk. I agree Knox should accept the pay cut, but he has value in what he does with Kinkaid and Hawes. We do have a solid RB room, and maybe McGovern and Edwards don’t deserve extensions. I’m not sure. We have to get not 1, but 2 high pick WRs, a LB, and a Nickel CB. I HAVE HIGH HOPES Hancock can keep growing into a solid S.
  19. He's alright. He's one of our better defenders against the run. But no doubt, very disappointing overall.
  20. Can confirm. I was screaming at the TV. Don't forget Poona Ford.
  21. Just do it. It literally cannot be worse. He works with Kromer on the run game and Kromer will still be here. Josh calling his own plays could likely replicate Five Man Protection Mesh Brady’s simplistic bs in the passing game. Let Joe go take the LSU or PSU job, hit the recruiting trail and gtfo of Buffalo.
  22. As one that describes himself as “fiercely independent”, I imagine it does bother you when either side does it. Me too. Oddly enough, your only objection here at PPP about the Biden pardons appears to be: Fascinating and wholly unexpected!
  23. nah, we are playing bad after a hot start (and a bunch of injuries) but if we are a bad team, who is a good team? every team ahead of us in the nfl have losses to lesser teams and sub par performances. the broncos needed lemmony snickets to beat the freaking giants, indy gave the game away vs pitts, the pats lost to who, the raiders or miami or something early, and needed luck and fortune not to drop back to back games to atl and tampa. we are as good or a better team than every team we lost too, and way better than miami and atl.
