Away game against a decent team coming off a bye and some injuries on the Bills side. I understand the excuses, but the offense looked fundamentally bad (like the need for a boundary WR is glaring) and the defense was horrendous in the first half. I liked that the defense gutted out a stronger second half performance despite being banged up. That's actually a type of moral victory that helps a unit longer term. But I'm very worried that the offense just doesn't have the boundary WR needed to shake up teams defenses.

As a lifelong St Blues Blues fan, I watched dozens and dozens of playoff exits, heartbreaking losses deep in the playoffs, etc. The Stanley Cup in 2019 will be something that I will never in my life forget. Everyone in the organization can do whatever they want now and in the mind of Blues fans, all is fine because they finally won that Cup. Go around the city and everyone will tell you where they were when it happened. They'll tell you how amazing the parade was. Everyone has a story. Eventually you just gotta put the chips all in and win one. You'll never have a better chance than you do with Josh Allen.

This is a great test for the coaching staff in my opinion. Coming off 2 losses where you got both outplayed and outcoached. You had a bye week and now you go on the road against an improved but still mediocre team. You have the 2 suspended players coming back and likely a few other difference makers coming back from injury. If you can't get it done on Sunday, it's going to be a long season.

What the Pats did was watch us give the ball away three times and have I think it was 11 penalties and they still barely beat us. The Falcons did indeed watch that, because after seeing it, they watched Allen throw two more INTs and the Bills get 8 penalties for 64 yards accepted. Including that turnover they gave us on the first play that got eliminated by a penalty. This isn't about the Falcons and Pats playing better or us being figured out. It's about us playing more poorly than usual. Could that continue? Sure. My bet is it doesn't, but we'll see.
