Pro Bowl Games moved to Super Bowl Week

I don't think Larry O's performance will determine anything when it comes to adding a Defensive Tackle. We've lost *three* DT's on the 53 since cutdown day. DaQuan Jones, T.J. Sanders, and DeWayne Carter. Sanders may be done for the year after knee surgery, Carter is definitely done for the year with an Achilles, and Jones will be down a number of weeks. When Carter went down, we didn't bring up another DT. We decided we'd roll with 4 instead of 5 and then called up DT's from the Practice Squad on a weekly basis for injuries. During that time we used all 3 of Zion Logue's callup's (until the Playoffs) and 2 of 3 callups for Jordan Phillips. Since that time, we've lost Sanders (3T) and now Jones (1T). Larry Ogunjobi will take T.J. Sanders spot as the off the bench 3T for Ed Oliver, as that's where he played in Training Camp and the Pre-Season and that's the spot Beane said he'd be at. But right now, we only have Ed Oliver, Deone Walker, and Larry Ogunjobi on the 53. We started the league year with 5 DT's, now we're down to 3. You need to have a minimum of 4 DT's on the roster. We need to bring up Zion Logue to be behind Deone Walker at 1T, regardless of Larry Ogunjobi's activation and performance.

Any Mafia folks know where to get a good cheesesteak in Philly?
Captain_Quint replied to Roundybout's topic in Off the Wall
John's Roast Pork has great cheesesteaks and great pork sandwiches. DiNics in Reading Terminal has been winning best in show for awhile. Phillips Steaks was my hidden gem in South Philly, somewhere like 17th & Passyunk. American or Cooper sharp with onions, as others said is the way to go. -
Joe Marino's 9 point plan for improvement

I wondered why this slump somehow felt different to me, and giving a listen to a couple of the more knowledgeable guests that Joe had on during the bye (I’m definitely not including Nate Geary 😂), I didn’t hear much in the way of unicorns and rainbows from them after breaking down the All 22. I want to be positive, but this team just isn’t right -
Game week thread - Bills at Panthers

I should’ve clarified playing *healthy* His elusiveness is by far his top strength. I would actually rather face a hobbled Bryce Young than a 100% Andy Dalton that can complete the gimmes and hand it off to Rico Dowdle. -

A big nickel, we've lacked one since McDermott got here. -

“That Democrat may have thought his Nazi tattoo was a day of the dead symbol. And what’s with Hegseth’s Christian symbol that looks like a Nazi cross?” you are on fire, you fierce independent! -
He's added Kelvin Benjamin and Amari Cooper in midseason trades during his tenure with the Bills. Both were colossal failures. Combine that with the fact that he had a very public crash out on WGR over not needing to add WR's. I have concerns that both his midseason trades not working in the past and to do so would make him look dumb after the outburst on Jeremy White will keep him from doing what should be done. I hope i'm wrong though.

I am actually grabbing your next two comments greater than one line from the CK thread and I will have you show me where you speak against the shooter, so literally three in a row including the one I posted earlier: "Didnt he also refuse to call Gov Walz after this? He said "“I’m not calling him. Why would I call him? I could call and say, ‘Hi, how you doing?’ Uh, the guy doesn’t have a clue. He’s a mess. I could be nice and call, but why waste time?” The simple thing to do would be to ease tensions here and offer support - and he decided to be divisive and do the opposite" "He said that if he saw a black pilot he would question if the guy was qualified...he was not "just having conversations" he was incredibly racist, sexist, and the center of a lot of divisiveness in our country. Nobody should ever face this kind of despicable act - but I am not going to just pretend he was "just having conversations" with the subjects he stood on." But you proved you are easily outraged by cutting a quote perfectly. His reason for that comment was they were discussing the fact that the FAA was hiring black people who scored lower on the aptitude exam while blocking white people who scored higher. You can disagree with his comment but it is not racist to wonder if that person is under qualified. In FL we have a policy that a military veteran can not be downsized at a school, regardless of performance, I disagree with policy and it has caused less qualified people to be kept but it is the law and does not make me anti military which is the standard you are running with.

Sure, and the Hunt family will probably have a different definition than the Pegulas. I don’t disagree at all. Maybe the Pegulas definition is winning championships, but they feel staying the course is best. I’m not sure. That’s how it appears. Their opinion or definition along with maybe a few other key advisors is the only one that matters. I can see the argument for both, but I’m starting to think a major overhaul is necessary as the current model is looking shaky and hasn’t managed to stop Reid and Mahomes when it mattered most.

Agreed. The fact that Libnuts seem unaware of that is amazing.

Kincaid absolutely has to be the focal point of the passing attack from now on. He’s been one of the best pass catchers in the league this year, WR or TE, when he’s actually been on the field. Get him out there as one of Josh’s first reads on nearly every passing play. -
Max Hairston to return to practice from IR

I think they brought Tre in to be a backup and mentor. Anytime you bring in a FA, there's some risk involved. He might have trouble learning a new system, adapting to new coaches and teammates, paying attention in meetings, whatever. There was little risk with Tre because the coaches already knew his character and Tre already knew our system. He has a good depth signing that turned out to be a bad starter. -
Yeah, your parody account post really didn't hit like you hoped.

Its a false choice to say changing coaches is "Blowing it up" or retaining the head coach.. There have been 10 different coaches who made it to the Super Bowl in their first or second season. The change in head coach seem to be the "change" needed in those cases. This era may have ended with the arrival of the Vrabel/Maye duo. Early returns as a Bills fan are not promising. But they are early.
