  3. we are screwed then. Our WRs can’t beat man- that’s the way to defend us. That is unless Brady schemes WRs open 😂. hey Joe- here’s some free tips- throw passes to RBs. PLAY ACTION-all game! Pass out of 12 and 13 personal. run 12 and 13 personal most of the game.
  4. I generally agree with this. And people should not evaluate the passing game in a vacuum. It hasn’t looked great at times and our receivers aren’t topnotch but (1) Josh only played 3/4 of Panthers game so passing numbers will be lower (2) Cook has been on fire and obviously you pass less when running is so effective (3) I saw that Josh’s completion percentage through first 7 games is much higher than last year - that’s encouraging to me and (4) in Ravens game when we needed to pass, we were effective. I’m just not as down on the team nor the passing game given the above (and injuries) An off topic aside: People seem to be focusing so much on Ray Davis to spell Cook and also Gore. I’m not sure why people aren’t talking about Ty Johnson. He’s looked good running the ball at times. And last year he seemed to be really good on the broken plays catching the ball.
  5. For most of the last 121 Series only the 2 best teams... Best in each League faced off in WS. ie: No playoffs. Early series were best of nine too.
  6. I can’t take anyone who laughed or thumbs downed this post, it’s nothing but fact if if anyone here is going to try to argue anyone on this team outside of Allen and Cook is “Elite”, you drink too much. Funny, bc if you look at his tenure with elite WRs in College, there was no problem throwing the ball.
  7. You would think having a great running game would help the passing game. Defenses load the box to stop the run which opens the pass game for one of the best qb’s in the game. It’s not happening.Josh is not making them pay. It’s a combination of coaching, Josh, and lack of explosive receivers. I think it’s also McD. There are times the defense can’t stop anything and I think he tries to protect his defense by dictating a ball control run first time consuming offense. It limits the possessions and requires limiting penalties and turnovers which the conservative offense can’t overcome. If the Bills limit turnovers and penalties they are in every game. If Josh gets hit they win. The problem is Josh is struggling in this offense and seems to be regressing. Also it is boring and difficult to watch. McDermott and Bean have gone all in on defense and don’t have the cap room to improve the offense. They’ve handcuffed one of the best qb’s into being a game manager and it sucks.
  8. I think Allen actually gets roughing the passer calls much more than Mahomes. Mahomes is the absolute king of ticky tacky defensive holding on third down though, so get ready for a couple of those.
  9. The NFL player is more machine than ever and spending more time than ever tuning their bodies. Bodies weren’t meant for that regardless of the advances in science and technology to condition them. The breakdowns are not unique to any team.
  10. The league clearly wants it that way.
  11. BREAKING: A lot of commie coping and seething in here.
  12. Hyper conditioning. I said nothing about juicing 😊
  13. Why do you always go out of your way to prove me correct about the idiocy of liberals?
  14. Yup! I said something similar to this in another thread.
  15. This has a big effect during games, of course, but doesn't the current CBA significantly limit the number of padded, full-contact practices a team can have during a season? The sessions during the week are way less physically demanding than they once were.
  16. NFL referees are not full-time employees; they are part-time contractors who hold other professional jobs, such as lawyers or doctors, during the week and offseason. While they are compensated well and have a year-round commitment to duties like training and rule study, they are not considered full-time employees by the league. THIS is the main problem as I see it.
  17. What’s the Covid lie? I’m legitimately curious which part of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic (now endemic) was/is deceitful by your estimation?
  18. I wonder whether the practices are more "intense" since McD is now calling the plays on D. I can't previously remember a brand new injury occuring from a Friday practice.
  19. Poor conditioning .
  20. All that gambling stuff points to money but the real money is in pop stars who find a dupe tight end. If Taylor had met Knox instead we’d have a few rings.
  21. Did you enjoy the game last week? If you did, the season wasn’t wasted. If you didn’t, maybe a new pass time is in order? Only one team wins the upper Bowl each year. Not being that one team does not mean the season was wasted. I try to focus on the ride, it can be a lot of fun!
  22. Yeah. It’s a very small percentage of people, at this point, that have parking passes. The overwhelming majority of the parking is 1st come, 1st served. The majority of lots will probably be open by 10 I would think. I’ve found 5 hours before kickoff to be our sweet spot.
  23. To paraphrase Douglas Adams, the defense is going to pieces (via injury) so fast, that other players are getting hit by the shrapnel. At least berserker Rapp won't be giving any more 'friendly fire' injuries.
