  2. I wouldn't associate his special ability so tightly with Daboll. Daboll used it (maybe best), Dorsey tried to, Brady benefits from it, but this is Josh Allen's ability which he has always had. The TD to Shavers was a throw that almost no QB's in history could make. 45-50 yard frozen rope while off balance evading the rush. From his first start against the Vikings, Josh has shown he's a unicorn. No one had EVER seen a QB leap clean over a guy. He's like Happy Gilmore back there sometimes... except a Happy Gilmore without the rage problem and with the discipline to learn all the subtleties of playing QB at the highest level.
  3. No. Josh Allen effectively has at least the same stats and efficiency metrics as Mahomes in the playoffs and Mahomes has 17 playoffs wins, while Josh has 7. Josh has less margin of error than any of them.
  4. If McConkey is so great tell me why the terrible stat line Sunday? Or his games against the Washington or Giants or Denver or Las Vegas? Looks like many of the stat lines we see Coleman produce.
  5. The defense is bad, but the NFL seems to be full of parity across the board. Look at the Bears. The Colts. The Broncos seem to be running away with the division. Philly looks average. The Bucs are still solid despite their laundry list of injuries. The Pats. The AFC North is wide open. The Rams, Seahawks, and 49ers are all solid. The Chiefs could miss the Playoffs altogether. It's a really weird year in the NFL. All it will take is clicking at the right time, and any of a number of teams could win the SB.
  6. Look at the scores of their 5 losses.
  7. Basically

  9. We define suck differently then. To me suck is Aaron Maybin not Chris Kelsey. Has Coleman become the WR we needed, no but at least he contributes on occasion. That's what upsets me with some of the fan base. Is Coleman Eric Moulds not likely but what if he become Donte Stallworth? Who was a cog to some of those Super Bowl teams in New England. Just because a player doesn't meet certain expectations means they can't play in this league. I'd imagine most here would call Kyle Pitts a bust but you know what he might not be Tony Gonzalez but he's certainly not Tony Hunter.
  10. How do you figure that the defense wasn’t awful against the Bucs? They gave up 32 points and 202 yards on the ground.its week 12….getting better!? if we didn’t have Superman pull another red cape performance out of his ass we would of lost. The point I was trying to make with my post is that Josh having to carry the load with Herculean efforts to win is complete bull crap. he is not getting the help he needs to be a championship team period. the reason we don’t have a championship is because of this front office and inept head coach. None of it is good enough. We know Josh is good enough on his own but he needs a little help. If KC doesn’t make the playoffs I hope Josh sees this as his shot and continues to play other worldly. besides Bills fans hes the only one who deserves a championship more.
  11. So, we are cheering for the Bills to move closer to the 1 seed and for Baltimore & KC to miss the playoffs. Works for me
  12. Today
  13. I want the road to the SB to go thru Buffalo most of all...this final year at the Ralph.
  14. Don't think Alan & company can score fast enough to keep up with the Bill's porous defense (missing key players) on a short week on the road. Bills 24 Texans 36
  15. No, you WANT the Steelers to win if you don't want the Ravens in
  16. No faith in this offense or defense. COULD Allen go off? Sure, anything is possible. But he could also have a Miami level stinker. Could the defense smother a garbage Texans offense? No, there's zero chance of that happening, they're awful. Texans 25 Bills 17
  17. yeah I don’t think he is going to make it on a short week Collins potentially could be out as well… Collins has been listed on the injury list this week (limited participation in practice, ankle), but does not have a game status on the latest report. The Texans have two other receivers on the injury list this week: Dalton Schultz (LP/shoulder): 51 Rec; 489 Rec Yds; 1 Rec TD Cade Stover (FP/foot): 4 Rec; 22 Rec Yds; 0 Rec TDs
  18. Yes, you're correct, you can indeed win without a good defense. How did it work out for the Bills? Not as well as it worked out for the Chiefs a couple of years and the, Rams etc. The fact that it worked out for some teams but not for the Bills -- well, it only proves that it didn't work out for the Bills. And the Bills had really good defenses several of those years, actually. Some of those years they had serious waves of injuries around the playoffs, and other times they were good but not good enough to stop the Chiefs in the playoffs with Mahomes playing at absolutely historic levels. You can argue this D is the worst. But they're getting better, particularly at passing defense. When Bosa gets the cast off, when and if Oliver comes back and when Dorian gets better at the role he's already playing pretty well this past week at pass rush schemes, we could easily get a lot better. When TJ and DaQuan get not just able to play but back at previous levels. It's a shame Hoecht is out, it really is. But there's every chance we'll be a lot better. We were awful against Miami. But not so awful against Tampa and pretty dang solid against KC. They absolutely have a shot. That simply isn't a question. Again, Vegas has them as the third most likely winner. That's likely a bit optimistic. But not much. They're 7-3, and beating the good teams.
  19. Yup, And no other teams with great QBs are like that ... except all of them. When the great QB has a bad game, yeah, the team's not real likely to win. That's kinda the NFL. I mean, you're right, that's how we look. But I mean, when Mahomes had a bad game, the Eagles win the Super Bowl last year and the AFC championship against the Bengals about three years ago. Yeah, fair enough, big ask. But it could happen, Ed playing near how he did before. Or not. And no, Shaq was playing significantly better than average, he was playing well.
  20. Oh i won’t dispute why they hired Carrol, just that Raiders team wasn’t good what he inherited and latching on to Geno instead of waiting it out, keeping your picks and trying to have a potential rebuild of the program 2 or 3 years down the line seems smarter than what he decided. That to me would be about becoming serious. Not putting your eggs in the basket of a guy drafted 13 years ago who’s only had 2 decent and 1 average year. All of which were year 10 onward. There was no way Geno and a rookie RB were turning that program around.
  21. Did you watch the 43 yard run? Watch it again
  22. Ummmm... no... we want the Steelers to keep winning outside our game against them if we don't want the Ravens in the playoffs
