Hoping whatever primetime games the bills get this season are spread out a bit. Those first 3 primetime games we had last year were tough for us early birds. If I remember right, it was 3 weeks in a row š

The MSM actually reported on this story in a benign way over a week ago but decided to re-report it today, in unison, as a coordinated attack on Trump. The decision to replace the current planes being used for Air Force One was made a long time ago. Trump made a deal with Boeing during his first term in 2018 to replace the two planes for $3.9 billion. The current pair of planes are 35 years old. The planes were supposed to be completed and delivered between 2021 and 2024. Boeing is running so far behind that they won't be done for 5-10 more years, if that. They also want billions more to keep building them after originally agreeing to a fixed price. Trump will be getting a new plane. In February Trump talked about instead of waiting for Boeing, acquiring a plane from a foreign country. Democrats want to make sure that no country gifts anything to America and that the taxpayer pays for the entire thing. Ok guys. This is why no one listens to them. Irrelevant media. Fake journalists.

Searched for 'Newark' in All Content And there you go, completely upstaged by your own bias and ignorance. The irony is rich. Republicans clutching their pearls over FAA issues, conveniently forgetting their own track record of undermining the agency. GOP's FAA sabotage: 2019: A staggering 180 Republicans voted against funding the FAA, jeopardizing air traffic safety and modernization efforts. 2023: The FAA warned that proposed Republican budget cuts would severely impact modernization projects and staffing, leading to potential travel disruptions. Biden's efforts to modernize the FAA: 2023: Verizon $2 Billion Contract: In March 2023, the FAA awarded Verizon a 15-year contract worth over $2 billion to design, build, and operate a new telecommunications network infrastructure. This initiative aims to modernize the FAA's communications systems, enhancing safety and efficiency across the National Airspace System. And now Trumpās trying to cancel that FAA-Verizon contract - which means taxpayers will be stuck footing the bill for termination fees and lawsuits, all so the project can be handed off to Elon Musk who has his teenagers messing around. 2025 Budget Proposal: The Biden administration proposed an additional $360 million for the FAA to recruit air traffic controllers and modernize outdated systems. Infrastructure Investment: Biden's Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act allocated significant funds for aviation infrastructure improvements. It's amusing how the GOP now decries FAA shortcomings, ignoring their own role in underfunding and obstructing the agency. Perhaps it's time they look in the mirror before pointing fingers.

Beane elaborates on the process of picking Josh Allen
Sierra Foothills replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was the double kick in the mouth for Josh... living so close to Fresno he grew up a Bulldogs fan and as a high school player he used to attend the Fresno State football camps and got to know the coaching staff and the Carrs... but they wouldn't offer him a scholarship... so he said he would walk on without a scholarship and they told him they were all set at quarterback... so he went to Reedley College for a year and starred there... and after that, Fresno State still wouldn't give him the time of day. When the new Fresno State head football coach Jeff Tedford was being introduced, the AD or college president or someone remarked at the news conference, "... and by the way, Coach Tedford knows where Firebaugh, California is" or something to that effect. -

I donāt get it. By the way, the draft isnāt the only way to acquire players. Isnāt Bean the guy that signed Hyde and Poyer, who became one of the best Safety tandems in the NFL? Have you written off Bishop already? Wasnāt he a second round pick? Didnāt he trade for Diggs? He was pretty good until he wasnāt, but four good years. Didnāt Bean draft Shakir? He was second in the NFL in YAC last year. Coleman had 556 yards in thirteen games, if you extrapolate that to seventeen, he would have had what 700-750 yards? But youāve written him off too right? -
If true Iām a bit surprised that they would put a division game in an international slot.

Half joking, half serious. Get one of these if you want ease of maintenance, and a decent workout. https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-14-in-5-Reel-Lawn-Mower/5015366801

@Einstein yes, why donāt we compare seating in a domed stadium vs. an outdoor oneā¦is that your argument? Somebody correct me if Iām wrong, but I donāt think anybody puts cushioned seats in an outdoor venue unless they are protected from the elements. The seats installed in that video are exposed seats. Iām sure the covered, premium seating will be a bit different in the new building.

My wife and I have a house with a pretty small backyard, 1,200 square feet, and an even smaller front. Iād like to get an electric mower for regular maintenance. The backyard turf is pretty thick and lush, so I need something with a lot of torque. I donāt want a gas mower because I think the maintenance required is overkill for the amount of lawn Iāve got. I like electric, Iāve got an older Kobalt electric mower made by GreenWorks thatās been good for now, but the batteries are shot and you canāt get new ones anymore. Does anyone have an electric mower theyād particularly recommend? Iāve had my eye on a RYOBI 20-inch electric mower, and Iāve also looked at the new Honda offerings. I donāt need a self-propelled mower, and I really donāt need anything beyond a 21 inch deck. Many thanks in advance.

I think those posters were expecting wider and cushioned seats, like some of the new stadiums have in the lower level. Sofi and Vikings and Falcons for example: The upper level (cheap) seats in these other stadiums have the same seats as we are installing in our lower level (expensive) seats in our new stadium.

Seizing this moment as Trump āincreasesā the cost of āeverythingā with his tariffs to take the mantle on cutting taxes for all - Democrats continue to - increase taxes on all Americans regardless what you buy:

Whatās the deal with Winston and Cousins?
Sierra Foothills replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe the data will make the point more clear... Arch Manning has played in a grand total of 12 NCAA games. He's started 2 of those games. One week ago he turned 21 years old (so he's only one year older than Tremaine Edmunds). -
For sure, there were multiple factors. Itās such a great example though for where the Bills are now. Itās kind of weird that @Mister Defense disliked the post instead of responding. What in there is controversial? Allen has been historically good in the playoffs and McDermott historically bad vs. KC. Thatās not really debatable. If heās against the notion that McDermott belongs on the hot seat, defend that position. Iām of the belief that dozens of coaches could have accomplished what he has over the last 5 seasons with those exact rosters. @GunnerBill are you still all in on McDermott? We are often in agreement but we couldnāt feel more differently about him. If, the Bills go 13-4 or 14-3, lose to KC in the AFC Championship, 35-32, will you be okay running it back? Iāve asked this before, āat what point is enough, enough for you?ā For me, I donāt believe heās accomplished much more than others would with prime Josh Allen. Where is your line?
-
Probably. The NFL is a machine when it comes to marketing where they get everyone hyped about a schedule where we already know our opponents.

Beane elaborates on the process of picking Josh Allen
Doc Brown replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed but at this point to quote a former Bills GM "don't tell me about the labor pains, show me the baby." Beane lecturing us on WGR that we aren't appreciative enough for what they've done falls on deaf ears at this point. I really have no interest in listening to him anymore as he keeps reminding me more and more of a politician. Especially on national shows like this where he's not required to be on. He's still a very good GM but sooner or later people are going to run out of patience until we break through. I think we drafted/signed close to the same future all pros right before he got here in 2017 (don't know whether to give McDermott or Whaley the credit) than we did the last seven off-season. Could be wrong though. -
UFL football for those undergoing withdrawal
PromoTheRobot replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yesterday's Michigan/Arlington game was won with no time on the XP. At least with the refs you can hear the conversations on calls. -
Technically, he did play at Mississippi State on 11/23/17, and he did not score a TD. He had one catch for 5 yards. Clearly I have too much time on my hands.
